From an Atlanta fan…he doesn’t block and gives up on routes. Very low motor. Please take him, we didn’t resign Jonnu Smith and he’s tearing it up this year.
This is funny. Before the 2021 draft, I wanted to keep Darnold and trade the 2nd pick down to draft Pitts. Do you think we'll be better off today if we went that route? Darnold would most likely have not developed like he did this year with the Vikings. Pitts may still be around but probably not much of a difference maker.
Absolutely. Let’s trade for someone who has not lived up to their hype in Atlanta because we have a great track record of making players better. In fact, let’s rehire Joe Douglas so he can spend another 50 million on two tight ends in the offseason and then draft another in the upcoming draft. How about this….stop looking at other teams players and start drafting your own future stars. Build the team through the draft and sprinkle in free agents as they are approaching their peak versus bringing them in on their way down.
Those aren't mutually exclusive. The Jets cannot fill every single roster hole with the draft alone. Good teams find under-utilized talent from other teams. Though I agree we should also draft a TE Also can you please stop reposting narrations of my content on your channel? If you find no value in my channel, you do not have to watch man, it's really not that big of a deal it's the freaking Jets
Meyers or Pitts would be great if you could get them for a 3rd round pick. You could also draft Terrace Ferguson from the Oregon Ducks in round 3-4 and he would instantly be our best TE.
If Pitts can be had for 4th ok but prefer to take Mitchell Evans best hands in the draft with a midround pick. Average athlete but elite hands and actually blocks effectively.
If you do that you're putting the cart before the horse .The jets need to learn the basics of Football like tackling and time management also put it's player's in a position that best suits their skills
I say finally draft a stud TE in the 1st round the Penn St kid i really like and the Michigan kid both are projected mid to later 1st round picks maybe we would be drafting to early for them but we need a stud TE all the elite teams have one, if we go defense in the 1st round the TE from Bowling Green i would consider in the 2nd round. We also need 1-2 Safeties,RT and OL depth backup C’s and G.
How about a good blocking tight end? Are Pitts and Myers considered good blocking tight ends? We need to at least scare defenses with the threat of a run when TEs are lined up
Michael Meyers isn’t going to be utilized tbh Brock Bowers is the new guy in town. Kyle Pitts idk seems like we would have to give up some assets but either of guys I want on my team.
We need defense the offense is set they need to man up n play better but defense is thin n overachieved last few years now its getting exposed draft all defense

Kyle with garret and Davante that’s a threat
I like it, our TE room is very pedestrian 😂
Accurate lol

@@cc352 we'd obviously be better if you were the GM lol
We do need a TE 1, Ruckert has not grabbed the reigns and has even regressed as a blocker. I would give him one more season to develop as our #2
conk is legit, he has been under utilized the whole season

We gotta get a difference maker somehow!
That’s the thing it’s all about the difference makers the elite teams have them at various positions.

definitely have to draft a TE regardless agreed there

Well said
Yes on Michael Mayer !!!!
Mitchell Evans is going to be good too!!
Conk > Pitts
depending on the asking price i wouldn’t mind Pitts at all

A 5th id do it. Only problem is he's due a contract
yeah that would be tricky to place a price tag on for sure
Oronde Gadsden II out of Syracuse AP 3rd team TE ....
4th round maybe?
How about a good blocking tight end? Are Pitts and Myers considered good blocking tight ends? We need to at least scare defenses with the threat of a run when TEs are lined up
If it’s a 5th or lower pick, Pitts is worth a shot.
agree
Very unrealistic, but trading for both Mayer & Pitts would perfect. The TE room would be set for years.
Michael Meyers isn’t going to be utilized tbh Brock Bowers is the new guy in town. Kyle Pitts idk seems like we would have to give up some assets but either of guys I want on my team.
Does he block?

Yesssssssssssss
What are you willing to give up for him? Another generational talent who hasn't lived up to the hype.
4th
@TheBuffaloJetFan I'm in.
Oh helllllllll no. Guy has been sinking fantasy rosters since he was drafted.
Conklin would be top ten TE if we knew how to use him.
We don't need Pitts
We need a TE. He’s a good TE.
No, but we need a TE. So we need someone
Hell yeah he a great tight end and he like to block and all that too hell yeah f*** out here where they waiting on grab him
