very unique idea, i love how the lines from the mat are visible in the finished piece it adds some neat texture to the 3d effect. could you have glued on waste blocks instead of using tenons to preserve some size and volume? i don’t really know the pros and cons of each method i just enjoy watching and learning ☺️
Thanks Dan. Yes, I believe you could use waste blocks as you suggest. I don't know if I'd end up making it larger or just conserve resin. Either way, it's a good idea.
