I don't think the link to this video is included in the pattern. I was taken to a different video when I clicked on the link in the pattern. That video showed short row turns without wraps. Just so you know.
What if the first stitch, when coming from the left side (second short row), is also a garter stitch and not stockinette? How do I pick up the wrap then?
If it is garter stitch, you can leave the wrap un picked up. It will look fine. Actually, they can be worked either way in the border. Give it a try on a swatch and see what you think.
