Ate in St. Georges and spent way to much money in Acme lol. I have wonderful family in Brigantine. They let us use their beach tags, you do have to have a "beach pass" .

Jeff, You missed one of the most beautiful places in Brigantine. On the north end there is a sea wall several blocks long where you have magnificent views of the beach, ocean and wildlife area. Also a very popular eatery called The Pirates Den on the north end. There is an interesting history on the iconic Brigantine Castle that burned down many years ago. If you are in the area again check out the north end.

Glad you got here. I'm 56yo, spent all my summers as a youth there. Mid 70s to late 80s. I was lucky enough to have my aunt and uncle own a house there. Great memories, the north end had arcade and brigantine castle and amusement pier. That beach where that bar was and the couple blks south were where all the crowds were. The walk is much shorter from the street to beach as well. Thats still my spot for day trips. Nice quiet and no riff raff.

Seems from the comments I should have gone further north. Oh well, next time! Thanks J Bart!

My aunt has a shore house in brig, had it since the 90s. Haven't spent much time there recently but I have many fond memories of the area. It's always nice to take a day and drive down if you have the time.

Me too , throughout the 1960s from when I was 2 years old til 12 ..
I was shocked at how much it changed when I was there about 22 years ago ... not as quaint and all that space gone !
... I can't even imagine how built up it is now .
Back then it was really wonderful .

I stayed at the Legacy Resort this summer, in Brigantine, and it was so much fun. It was quiet for the most part, but I got to hear some great live music. I plan on going back in the off season, as the hotel is right on the beach, and I love the ocean.

We were kids there and always went throughout the 1960s .
It was really cool back then before it became so crowded and overbuilt
