I know the title says rebirth but this is so much more than a phoenix rising from the ashes. F l is a powerful woman who doesn't just get revenge... she absolutely burns them to the ground. I won't spoil it but this is how revenge should be done.
She didn't leave anything to chance...She didn't backpedal on anything... She saw what she had to do and she did it! I do appreciate the fact that they emphasized on domestic abuse and gathering evidence to get custody because so many people do not understand how difficult it is for women to get out of abusive households with their life intact.
The one thing that I absolutely loved, beyond the revenge, is the fact that they really made the husband pay. Like it wasn't just taking his money or making him own up to what he did but like on an emotional level he kept feeling his skin being stripped away little by little when he is covering up for the abuse that she suffered.
First it was his business then it was his properties and then it was his marriage next came his child like there was levels to this! So often we have the dude just not even apologizing and getting away with it because he saved her life at the very end. And that always leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
My favorite quote that I think fits this so well comes from the infamous Ivana Trump: "honey, don't get mad... just get everything" ❤
I was glad that finally we have a drama where the bad husband realised at the end that the only way to redeem himself was to sacrifice his life to save FL. A life for a life 👍🏻 But what was annoying was that while FL was smart and brave throughout her revenge, she became a coward at one of the last scenes, when the crippled aunty came to say bad things about FL in front of the mother in law. FL didn't even defend herself and wanted to leave with the daughter. It was the kid who stepped up. That was very lame of FL, but the kid was awesome.
@@YveOnline I understand what you're saying... For me I think the reason why she just wanted to leave was because she was just done. She's repeated the same lines over and over and if you're going to listen to her then you'll listen to her if not she doesn't care. I honestly think that the scene was mainly written for the kid. Children often do not have a voice when it comes to adult things so it was kind of like written so that her character can speak up and finally have that moment of I am not taking it anymore.

This was really good. I feel extremely bad for the real Ji Qinghe and somewhat for Li Huaishen (?). He was lied to and manipulated by both the aunt and other girl. While clear that he wasn't the best person ever, he really did have feelings for Ji Qinghe. I'm glad Xu Xiaomei got her happy ending and revenge for both her and Ji Qinghe.

Really really enjoyed this one!! Live me a good revenge plot. It had a different reborn storyline which I really enjoyed. Homegirl came back after death in her friends body and decided to seek revenge for all the BS her friend endured pushing her to commit suicide. She got that revenge and for the most part of always one step ahead of the villains and best of all, she didn’t go back to the ex and found herself a man that truly loved both her and her daughter. But man was that “aunt” truly insufferable! I also wish that the ex had found out that the SFL never had a heart condition, maybe I missed it 🤷🏼♀️
