    Man..... I'm running behind. Spent my weekend working on my BIL's Bronco, and went to a concert. No time for my own stuff, so I'll watch Sleazy's stuff.

      Thanks bud! What's going on with the Bronco? The concert looked awesome!

      @@SleazysGarage I did a valve/rocker arm adjustment. It appears to have a pedestal to stud mount rocker arm conversion. I'm not a fan.

    Hey, it's me again. LOL.... just waned to say I am so glad I watched this episode. I feel some inspiration to go home tonight and get into Frankie a bit. Got some stuff that I've been needing to do to get it ready for a parade/car show on Labor Day.

      Hell yeah! Hope to see some video but even if you don't record it's garage therapy. 🙌

      @SleazysGarage exactly. I've picked up a ton of side work this summer too, and I haven't filmed much. It's unbelievable how much faster things go, lol.

    Awesome stuff brother! Getting a lot of items on that list crossed out, before you know it, that coyote will be ready to fire! I can’t believe how hot that bolt got 😂😂 im never getting one of those

      Thanks bro! I know right? I definitely should've purchased the one with carbide because friction is not the right solution. Especially with hardened stainless bolts. PCM kit should come this week, so hopefully in the next few weeks! 🤞

    Great work…!! And yes it’s always more to it and time required to work out the kinks…. Just remember “slow is fast” ….. what power steering system do you plan to used …. I am using PBH speed drive which provides modifies system to accept power steering pump since the coyote doesn’t come with one…. Keep up the great work!! Looking forward to seeing your starting and driving

      Thank you brother! Yeah it's definitely a marathon and not a sprint. I was leaning towards the KRC. Both systems seemed comparable in price all-in with the brackets, pumps and hose kits. So not fully sure yet but definitely going to have to pick one because of the hydroboost. Thank you again, me too!

    The Fox is looking awesome! That tool is garbage, I was hopeful it would work. I usually thread a nut on before I file the ends and then take it off. If that makes any sense. Your getting a lot done. I’m really looking forward to this first fire! 🔥

      Thanks Rick! Yeah for sure, I think the ones with carbide inserts might work. I for sure bought the wrong one, but threading a nut on first and taking it off over the cut definitely works. Hopefully the PCM kit will be here soon and I can start wiring it up!

    The car is coming along ni8cely! Quicker than my car. Engine has been just sitting in the car since about October. But I did switch gears to doing some suspension reinforcement work, otherwise I figured I wouldn't want to switch gears to that work after the car is running...I'd just want to get it on the road. But I'm also hoping to hear mine run in about the next month. My engine is out of a 2011 F-150 with about 90k miles...and between sitting on a floor and on an engine stand, I bet it hasn't run in 8 years, or maybe a little more. So keeping my fingers crossed that I have a good engine.

      Thank you brother! That's awesome, I'm sure it'll fire right up. Where did you source it from, do you know if it was tested before being pulled out? Subbing/following on insta!

      Sleazy...I got the engine from someone else. The usual nasty divorce story, so he was liquidating things before the divorce. He said it came from a totaled truck that was hit in the rear and he heard it run before it was pulled. I got a rebuilt Cobra T56 from the guy too. Got it all for a bargain.

      @SleazysGarage  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@puzzlefox5.076 Awesome, that should be a great combo. Those are the most expensive parts of the swap too, I think. What did you end up doing with the suspension?

    • @puzzlefox5.076
      @puzzlefox5.076 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm going nuts with it (can check it out on my TH-cam, too). I was going to build a really good handling street....well, scope creep...and now it's basically going to be a street legal racecar. Going coil-overs all the way around, Cobra brakes, Caddy Brembos on the front, and a 2003 Cobra IRS! I have Detroit Speed through-the-floor subframe connectors and a roll cage that I have put in myself. I'm in the process of reinforcing the rear shock towers, yet, to handle the IRS with coil-overs.

    Holy piss.... that deburring tool is hot garbage. The commercials/ads make it look like it takes 5 seconds, tops!

    • @SleazysGarage
      @SleazysGarage  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, definitely do not recommend them without some carbide inserts. I knew it was going to be a flop the minute I saw what I bought. I think this one relies on the friction but that's pretty goofy.
