May I know what android phone you use in this video? I tried to use Move to iOS but it just stopped at preparing because it couldn't detect my iPhone even though the phones are just side by side :( the only difference I can notice is that my iPhone wasn't connected to wifi coz I couldn't set it up at that time and once I passed that screen I can't setup anymore unless I finished the whole process
I’ve recently used move to iOS and WhatsApp chats are not copied across. All the individual chats disappeared but I still am part of group chats (they appear empty).
I keep getting the connection error notification, and have no idea why. I’ve done everything by the book and nothing seems to work. I wonder if the compatibility between the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Iphone 13 have something to do with it… The Iphone 13 has 128 GB of storage while the Samsung has 64 GB, so there shouldn’t be any issues since there’d still be plenty of storage left on the Iphone _after_ the transfer. However, since I’ve used up ALL of the storage on my Samsung with only about 200 mb left, could that be causing the connection error notification?

Good question Samera. Notes wont transfer, so you might have to move them manually in email or other methods. The reason for this is that the app is not cross platform. Going forward you could change the notes app to one that is cross platform such as Google Keep. Annoying I know.
Great video but ugly "move to iOS" app..all my phone could do is move over the contacts and took 12 min I had to uncheck all other boxes as I got error and app would shut down
my photos' date all got reset to the date I performed the transfer using this app Move to IOS. Anyone could help on how to transfer the photos with the original date retained?
Sorry to hear mate. You can try step 11. Transfer Data without resetting your iPhone [5:24] Because you are moving to different OS there will be some slight differences.
You have not specify that Move to IOS does not work with old version of Android ! I would like to migrate from an old phone Android 4.1.2 to IOS. No way :(

I take it the android phone is the only one with a SIM card in it or is there a bit of back and fourth?
You can move the sim at any time.

I keep gets transfer error, a transfer error has occurred on my android. You think it could be because I have about 33k pictures to transfer?
Do you have enough storage on new phone? also maybe try deleting any photos you dont need.

yes its not brilliant. But i think that has to do with the different types of phones out there it needs to support.
I have an s7 edge at the 1 hour 7 min mark it's like if it was frozen so out of know where it stops transferring

I have try this about 6 times it always gets to 1 min gets stuck any solutions using note 20 ultra to iPhone 13 pro max
