I have seen some early live videos (from "Silverthorn" times) and prefered to listen to studio versions. Watching "Sacrimony", I was stunned by amounts of work done by Tommy to improve the way he sounds. It is just amazing. Will be waiting for release, now I really want to see the whole concert.
He's my favorite singer! Got to meet him too and he came off as a really nice and chill guy. Check out Seventh Wonder if you haven't already, he really shines there
It's interesting one fact: The chemistry between Tommy, Elize & Alissa works very well, They have a very well syncronization on stage... And that's great!

i only discovered Kamelot recently through a video of The Charismatic Voice channel and wow! this performance is on another level! the energy on stage, the outfits, the band players and singers abilities. every single person on stage (and im sure also off stage crew) is a master at what hes doing! this is something i would love to see live one day

Nobody ever talks about Oliver, so I will. How he does a solo on a keyboard with weighted keys (especially on the highest end Yamaha), like that of a grand piano, is beyond me. I get that he's played for almost all of his life, but, man, his finger strength... I cannot wait to receive this in the mail. I also cannot wait to hear Here's To The Fall. My favorite soft song from them.
Alex from Rhapsody of Fire is another one who uses weighted keyboards. They must have SUPER STRONG fingers! Still, there are settings on keyboards to change how responsive the sounds are in terms of weight, so it's possible for the solo patches they have them turned off. I use semi-weighted myself. It's a nice balance.

Wow, now that was a pleasant surprise, having that pop up in my feed. Never saw Kamelot before and what an awesome performance! Tommy kills it as did the band but with the bonus of Elize & Alissa, just f#&kin wow.
I can't get over that in the middle of this absolute masterclass of awesomeness they still felt the need to go that extra step and have the lead singer take over fingerings for the guitar during a break in his vocal duties, just because they can.

Yep. It cancelled my first show of the year. Symphony X. I saw Kamelot with Battle Beast and Sonata Arctica last year. Hell of a show. Sonata was a disappointment.
Oh hey, saw the same combo w/similar reaction. I'd mostly gone for Sonata... which was passable but underwhelming. Happily, Battle Beast blew me TF away (hadn't heard them before), and I gained a huge appreciation for this era of Kamelot. What a show overall.

I know I'm late to this. This has to be one of the most iconic metal events I've seen. The energy I can feel through my screen let alone actually at the concert. If people want to get others into metal, this would definitely be a way to hook them. Congratulations on a fantastic performance.
When I first heard the growls, I had no idea it was a female. I just thought what great growls, that fit in perfectly within the song. Just goes to show that White, Gossow, Melissa Bonny aren't just great female harsh vocalists - they are great harsh vocalists. No need to bring gender into the equation.
