Jus cos this was broadcaseted on the Miss Universe channel doesnt mean everyone judging & hosting should be a foreigner . Aishwarya Rai was contracted with the Miss World organization, Sushmita Sen was with Femina, Lara Dutta and Harnaaz Sandhu are contractually with the Miss Diva Organization. So they had to bring in Urvashi Rautela Miss Universe India 2015 to hand over the new crown designed for Glamanand Group Miss Universe India pageant.

Unfortunately, her look lacked vibrancy-her hair was flat, she wore small earrings, and her formal attire along with a greyish nude lipstick didn't stand out. Unlike the Latinas, Miss Thailand, and Miss Denmark, she didn't seem to draw any inspiration from them to elevate her appearance. Moreover, she failed to engage with photographers and made minimal effort to connect with her audience on social media, posting brief updates and spending most of her time with Miss Pakistan. Despite being a TED speaker, she didn’t even win the Voice for Change award. The Miss Universe India judges and director made a poor decision by not selecting Chaavi Verg instead.
