Love so much about this unit! The epoxy poured hideway cabinet tops in the bedroom, the cubbies by the sofa, the huge windows, plenty of countertop and storage, incuding the garbage can area. The tall ceilings and slide out, the carpetless, ventless floors, the two A/C s on 30amp, some solar on board, three temp controlled spray ports, solid step and a fire exit from the bedroom, the countertops/backsplash, the roller shades the large sofa, the under cabinet lighting and toe kicks, and the dinette in the rear with a beautiful window not looking at the neighbour's camper. And the non claustrophobic wardrobes, the sliding doors, the super sized pantry with electric outlet, and so much more! Great job Alliance!
There should be a “televator” behind the fireplace. Would solve the issue with having the tv mounted too high, and still maintain the camp side windows
@joshthervnerd would love a video showcasing travel trailers with a televator. We rarely watch TV when camping so would love to have it out of the way only to be brought out on the very rare occasions we use it.
🎉🎉🎉 YES!! Alliance nailed this floor plan. Big “likes” over competing offerings: - Awesome, long recliner couch - Real pantry - did not angle-back counter by door - provides more counter space + storage. - FIREPLACE!! 👍 (Grand Design totally whiffed on this…) - The independent, adjustable bedside reading lights. A couple minor issues, but not deal-breakers: - knee-knocker table - be nice if awning covered both doors The sliding drawers above fireplace are perfect for dinnerware + right next to dinette. Handy! Another great review Josh!! 👍
This is perfect couples Floorplan. Everything is just right. Couple minor corrections and it's perfect. Upper cabinet hinges that hold up the door or the pistons. Agree extra light under dinette. Either the flip up table, or free standing table would be preferred. TV mount, just make it tilt. Doesn't need to come down. Yes, tuck the TV back flush. Above fireplace either a high and tight pull out shelf for desk type thing and then more storage under, or just 1 large storage spot, or maybe even a slide out shelf mounted at the bottom. Reverse pantry door for sure. Privacy shade depends of you can see through the door window at night with the lights on. If you can, include in bedroom for sure. Would have liked a little more fresh water storage. Great video. I am sold on this Floorplan, size, etc.
TY! Cougar, sunset trail, heritage glen have similar things Ember has one coming as well Here's a few links: ► Cougar 25RDS th-cam.com/video/_sczz7muqLI/w-d-xo.html ► Imagine 2500RL th-cam.com/video/SpOma39jceA/w-d-xo.html ► Jay Feather 26RL th-cam.com/video/oDDQBFuV9Yw/w-d-xo.html ► Sunset Trail 258RD th-cam.com/video/DOC4PLFa2lM/w-d-xo.html
I am 6' 7" (79") so ceiling height is critical. Some mfg are as high as 7'. I will research the others. Thank you so much. PS, full size queen is sufficient, need that storage versus bigger bed. Plus regular mattress and bedding easy to find.
This floor plan is screaming for a telelevator! Free float the dinette table. I really do love the giant dinette on another maker’s floor plan but, I dig more the larger, nap friendly couch in this one! Becoming a fan of those mid camper split bathrooms. Love that they went larger on the bathroom sink. Love the split griddle/grill choice of camp cooker. Yes, that awning needs to be longer. Make the rig I just mentioned and sign me up!
I absolutely love this trailer. Windows are amazing lets alot of light in and being able to have a good view. The couch is amazing very few have a couch like that in a travel trailer. Also I love the cubbies behind the couch. You can put your throw blankets in and even store your remotes. The countertop space is amazing and I love the way they have the controls for the awnings outside. I don’t recall if that had manual or electric stabilizing jacks. The two things to make a perfect trailer is a king bed option, and larger awning to go over both doors. Lastly, you asked about the storage or at least the keyboard type thing above the fireplace, should be a large cabinet and anyone using a laptop or any type of computer can just use the dining table.
I love this! 1. Traditional dinette is a nice change. I agree about the legs. 2. I like the slide out drawer. Nice to have multiple use features. 3. Queen bed! Yes😊 4. Awesome bathroom! 5. Kitchen counter space rocks! 6. I agree with you that the awning could extend passed 2nd door. 7. Grill/Griddle combo is sweet! 8. Ladder/drying rack?!? Nifty! We appreciate your videos, and your sense of humor:)
Love this unit! Some suggestions: -Awning to cover 2nd door -Dog D ring outside. -Privacy shades are a must. -Pantry cabinet have shorter shelves, and broom /coat hooks. -Dinette change to table/chairs, but where would you place the fuse box. -TV to have an. adjustable arm mount, then strap for travel. -Drawer under TV to and a keyboard hinge to go flat. -Remove the toothbrush/ soap holder. (don’t like my toothbrush out where I crap) -Runway lighting in the bathroom(or I will just buy a sensor light to help w/aiming😉) -Couch USB connector to be on front of the arm or on the wall - Gray / white colors would look beautiful. Hope to see this unit at the next RV show! Uncle Josh, awesome video as always!
This is a great camper and great video. Just to add on for possible changes in order of importance (1st being most important). 1. Please make the awning lights dimmable. 2. Turn dining table into free standing or movable. 3. Extend the Awning over both doors or maybe 2 small awnings that are next to each other. 4. Switch pantry and dinning positions and install camp side window. 5. T.V. with a tilt down. 6. Remove shelf and put in a slide out drawer so it can be an appliance shelf. 7. Back pantry shelfs should be slide out for easier access. 8. Use a Max fan in bath. 9. Install privacy shades in both doors (bottom up please). 9. Shelf under bathroom sink is a great idea someone had. 10. Keep fireplace. Finally, I really like the televator idea and then a standard cabinet above but I would not want to loose the fireplace. I know weight is always an issue and some of these ideas may push the trailer past 1/2 ton acceptable towing. So whatever Alliance does this is a great model.
1.) Love that 2) Yesssssssssssssssss 3.) I like the extended idea 4.) I also wondered about that.. 5.) YES 6.) OOH! Appliance shelf! Smart! 7.) Slide-forward shelving would be amazing 8.) 💯 9.) Again.. nailed it| 10> TY for the info Man.. i need to get you in front of some of these companies! :)
I'd rather have a floating dinette table, don't like knee knocker tables. The fact that the couch is a reclining sofa makes it so comfortable. I'd round off the TV cabinet corners so I wouldn't get poked on the sharp edge. I'd get privacy shades right away. I like the pantry are they pull out shelves? If not I'd change that as well. I'd put struts on the overhead cabnets. I like the fold down counter extension. I like the cubbies behind the fridge and not wasting empty space. I love the fireplace, like the sink, love the slow close cabnits. Love the slide out drawer under the counter, love all the cabnit space in the bathroom, I could use a bigger shower but that one is ok. I hate radius showers, just too small! The queen bed is alright but is there a double bed option? I'm a single person so more space is more important to me rather than a bigger bed. I love the side stands. I like dual door access. Yeah I'd like the awning lights to dim. I don't need the area light up so bright every neighbor can see every detail on me or my belongings. I'd get the awnings just to keep the leaves outside the camper. Like the outside picknick table and the outside grill. I don't see outdoor speakers which doesn't bother me one bit, can't stand neighbors that blast their music especially at night when I'm trying to watch a movie or sleep!! I'd upgrade the solar to max. Can you get 30 gal propane tanks? Thanks Josh for another great walk thru video. ❤
I’d much rather have my theater seating that is far more comfortable than any cheap jackknife sofa than I have ever had👍and also allows me the option to recline or not💥and a sofa on the back wall instead of a decades old uncomfortable “1960’s diner” pedestal booth dinette that I have had to live with since the 1960’s😂
I like the dinette because I have parrots that travel with me, and putting the dinette down, covering the cushions, and voilá.. I have a great place for my birds inside. When I travel, they are in the truck with me. I wish there was a couch that the whole back reclines, and that you can flip it down and make another bed, for a visitor, or if a couple visits, they can have my bed, I would take the couch. I also love the extra counter space in the mid-area kitchen, over the fireplace. That is a deal maker! I love the big sink with the side drain….great idea! The bathroom counter space is awesome. Shower is plenty big for me. Queen is great size. Gives more storage for clothes. I don’t use a tv in my bedroom . I like the side “tables” by the bed. Excellent. I always have hydration on my nightstand. The mega griddle thumbs up! How do keep the outside doors open? Is there a screen door?
@@jdetar5304 That’s why I am so passionate to give every customer the “option” of a booth dinette or a sofa/theater seating option to fit their specific needs👍
I think this travel trailer is very nice. One thing I would suggest is the countertop extension by the sink. I’d make it flush with the countertop when extended.
Fireplace all the way. Privacy shade agree it needs one. Love the sofa. Definitely need struts on cabinets. Leave the drawer like it is. It can be used for a computer. Stick with queen bed. The awning could be over the bedroom door. Great job Josh
As for the TV i think it would be best with a swing down mount , with a safety belt to keep it in transit mode. Please provide cabnet hold up for the overhead doors. Please make sure that the counter extension is flush with the counter. I must have privacy shades in the doors. I like the pantry slide out drore the best the way it is now, great place for a desk . As long as it is not a bendy bed, a true 60 by 80 is good. Great job Josh.
Thanks Nerd! I like the idea that the slide tray above the fireplace can be used for a keyboard tray. I would not vote for moving it down or taking it out. A light over the table or "reading" bendable lights on the wall would be nice for rainy day table games. King bed not needed or wanted for my vote. Really nice unit. It goes on my shortlist.
This is a great model! I Would make the fireplace and drawers next to the kitchen a bit narrower and give an extra storage cabinet to the kitchen. Make that pullout desk drawer have a magnetic flip down front so you can actually use it for a desk. A shoe cubby is always nice if they can fit it in at the door. Excited to see the final product for this!
I lived in a GD 245RL for a year. The layout is almost the same but this has what I longed for. A pantry and a fireplace. I also love the cubbies by the sofa. I love the dinette being in the back. I was backed up to a lake for 2 seasons and would have loved to eat my dinner watching the ducks outside. It would have been awesome To have 2 air units. The built in waste basket is awesome! This bathroom is thought out better as well with the drawers built in. We loved the size of our bathroom and it was fantastic for traveling. I love the bedside tables as well. It stinks to lose the wardrobe that was in the GD but this one is a bit shorter so it’s understandable. Solid steps, outdoor stovetop, extra spray ports. This is done right. Love love love it
Alliance is my favorite by far. It looks great inside and out. I really like having access to the connections in the passthrough area. The things I would change are the dinette table. That should be a free-standing table for more leg room. Also, it would be nice if the awning were long enough to cover both entries. That said, I'm pretty sure this will still be my next rv!
Wow, lots to really like. As full time nomads in a 41 ft fiver, I keep watching for the ideal smaller unit. I really like the living area & kitchen but would need more storage/room in the bedroom.
If Delta is listening, please put in a larger fresh water tank. 45 gallons is below what's needed when boondocking or dry camping. Especially since the holding tank capacity is triple the amount of fresh water capacity. I've seen some trailers in this size with an 81 gallon fresh water tank. That would make this an awesome off grid trailer.
We bought one of these and have just realized how small the freshwater tank is as we are out of water but have plenty of storage left in the gray tanks. We are dry camping and there’s no way to add water to the fresh tank from a container as it goes in through the city water connection and you just turn the valve to divert it to the storage tank. Way to go Alliance😢
Love it. Have ours on order. Hoping to have it in March. Definitely should have struts on the upper cabinets. Also agree to flip the pantry door opening. Desk would make sense with no lip on the pull out for better keyboard access. I would say go full desk or keep it a pantry. Don’t try to make it both. Great job overall by Alliance.
We have an Imagine 2500RL (which we LOVE), so this would not take long to feel right at home. Counter space is better & the fireplace would be a nice addition! One concern is the ladder in back…it’s got to go up above the roof a bit more (curve over would be good too). Gives a better handhold when climbing on or off the roof. Thanks, Josh!
I like what they’ve done with the kitchen and entertainment area. I’d like to see a larger bed option for sure. But truthfully the Bish’s Wayfarers similar floor plan is my all time favorite!! If this kitchen was in that one, perfection!
We are actually really actively investigating a laminated GO► series right now. We're going to really take our time with this one and come up with something based on a ton of user feedback. This is helpful
We are glad they investigated the TV bracket. I wonder if the could install a hydraulic lift for the TV behind the fireplace? The drawer in the cabinet would be perfect for a key board / mouse for a mobile desk. The hidden TV 📺 wouldn’t cut into keyboard tray. I like the pantry by the door so we can stash our jackets for easy storage as we enter or exit our trailer. Glad this trailer has its own Yogi Bear picnic table. Thanks for video.
This camper is one of our favorites. Love the layout. Dinette is great with pantry but would prefer the folding table legs. Upgrade the stabilizers. Add the privacy shades in the doors. Single stinky slinky hookup is a win. Queen bed is great and the night stands are right for a CPAP. Really like the drawer/desk pullout, could just put a keyboard hinge on the front. Great place to store the laptop (was there power close by?) Like the trash can tip out, the soft close cabinets and toilet lid, both sink are a good size, the ladder, outside water control, the griddle/grill combo and the height. The dual AC on the 30amp is spectacular. Upper cabinets should have struts. Overall there are no deal breakers.
Josh, 1. Televator for the tv, make the space above storage. 2. Option in a desk setup in place of the traditional dinette for the work on the road group. Really like the pantry set up and the larger sitting couch. Great idea to standardize the dual ac Thanks for the great videos!
I'm not a major fan of those elliptical bases if that's what you're referencing. Like you said they're more to wrestle and they don't give you any leg room I'm referencing a set of light weight folding legs that flip flat to the bottom of the table. Light, Easy, more room for knees.
Just put money down on an ordered unit. Should be here end of May. Sold our 19 FBS in one day. We’re stoked! Thanks Josh. No Bush’s in greater Sacramento area. Blue Compass made it easy. Zach the manager and Brad the salesman and Melinda the finance manager made it a Stellar experience. Exceeding our expectations in Rancho Cordova California ❤
Geo/E-Pros sell pretty fast usually! Nicely done! Glad you had a great experience regardless of where you purchased! If my videos here were handy, then would you mind dropping me a quick thanks in a review at g.page/r/CdPcitNVx2nDEAg/review by chance?
Hey Uncle Josh, I hope you're having a great day! I like the Alliance Delta 252RL travel trailer! I do kind of wish that they would have extended the awning over the bedroom entry door, so you wouldn't get wet it was raining! I love that the pantry is on the back wall next to the booth dinette. I do like that you get a bigger theater seat, could you get a tri-fold sofa instead of the theater seat? I'm glad it has 2 AC units on this Delta travel trailer. They set this unit up right, even though it's their prototype I hope they don't change to much of it. I know you have to use both entry doors if you have to make a pit stop, but I'm fine with that! I'm glad that they put the electric fireplace space heater below the TV. I was wondering if you can get a heat-pump in either one of the AC units? Thank you Uncle Josh for showing us this unit and giving us all the information good an bad. Your number one fan and friend Leonard Nelson from North Carolina! #NerdHerd 😎💪🤘🐕🐶🐺😎
Kudos to them for not putting an unreliable drop down mount on the TV- good idea- I’d like one if it works properly. LOVE the theater seating!!!! Good job overall.
TV is fine, maybe just put it on a tilt down. Stop tapering the counter by the door. I don't care if it hangs over a bit. Make it full depth all the way to the door. Looks dumb tapered. As far as the pull out "desk" I like the idea. It could have the front part flip down for a desk or up for storage. Multi function! Awning should cover both doors.
Queen bed with larger side stands is a must for CPAP use.. The 3 seat sofa would be nice. Every time I get up to get an aluminum encased drink for my wife, the dog steals my seat. They did a good job with the size they had to work with.
If their goal is a desk, I'd get rid of the upper TV cabinet and go with a televator, but that might require the elimination of the fireplace. This would put the TV at eye level and make the pull-out desk a really nice work area, but it also needs no lip and just make it as big as possible. If all they are going to do is give me a pull-out shelf, I think I'd rather just work in the dinette. Potentially I could hang a small monitor off the pantry cabinet ( assuming their is nearby power ) and now I have a out of the way work area versus being in the middle of the RV.
Nope, loss of a fireplace would be a deal breaker for me!!! I don’t mind to much the positioning of the TV, but the audio is the worst in the industry with a Bluetooth speaker in the ceiling that lags with audio…. Power couch recline would also be nice
The bedroom is perfect like it is. The full-queen bed is great, and I like the "open" headboard area with the side stands. As for the area under the TV, the shelf is nice, but it seems like stuff on the bottom shelf would get lost in the back. I would rather see the pull out drawer/shelf be on the bottom. In fact, the door seem they would be in the way and eventually break with a lot of use. A single drawer might be better. All in all, this is a solid floor plan. Good job Alliance.
I like the slide out shallow drawers above the fireplace. Top drawer for spices and you can read them all. I think you can get little tilt racks if you want, or just put some shallow trays in so they don’t roll around. The bottom shallow drawer - maybe canned goods? Maybe all the silverware and utensils?
It just seems like the proper respectful thing to do. Drives me that’s when I see people grind their shoes on what will become someone else’s furniture
How about a TELEVATOR?????? That'd be great! By the time you settle in to watch TV, either it's crappy outside OR it's dark, so blocking the window during TV is no big deal...because Hey...you're watchin' the teeeveee 😊 There'd probably still be enough room to still have a small pull out extension?? If I were to trade my RV today, THIS would be my #1 choice.
This one just made my short list. If the dinette could be switched out for a regular dining table (so I could easily trade it out for a desk) it would be perfect for what I need in an RV
@JoshtheRVNerd awesome! Thanks!!! I didn't see that on their site. I will definitely keep this one at the top of my list. I'm hoping to buy later this year :)
I'm not opposed to anything Alliance did here except the awning. I think it could have been a bit bigger to cover both doors. Otherwise, this is a beautiful version of this floorplan. Best yet - they refused to use that ugly plaid designs that some are eventually moving away from. LoL And yeah, the doors need a privacy shade - such a simple upgrade that costs so little. This model is now on my short list to purchase, yes it's that nice.
We looked at these when they first started hitting the lots. From what we saw and their forums, they were initially struggling with fit and finish from the factory. But they REALLY REALLY were active in trying to get it right. I'm really rooting for them and hope things have improved. It really looks like they are out imagining Imagine.
Josh, you are so not right....thats exactly why I watch you....kindred soul. My idea for the sliding drawer if I can explain it right. Keep it as it is, but make a top that slides into some tracks/rails at the very top of the cabinent, just above it. Then you could pull the drawer out, slide out the top from above it and lay it over the drawer. You could either use it as a drawer or a desk. Either way, I like the out of box thinking and innovation this trailer has. Good size rooms, good cabinent space, light colors....lots of counter top space. If you get trapped on a rainy day, its a nice space to live it.
Once againJosh, great job reviewing the RV. We like this floor plan so much we went ahead and placed an order to have one built. It has a better function than the GD competitor. We hope Alliance will have the awning cover both doors, a larger grab handle by the bed door, and struts where it is needed. We also noticed the top drawer near the sink did not have a sliding silverware divider. Please add it. Overall, it is a great RV, and we can't wait to get it.
I've been watching your videos with my son every night for the last couple of years - it's part of his bedtime routine. This worked at first really great bc I loved your videos and he found them completely boring ...and would fall asleep. Mission accomplished. It became so part of the ritual that grandma and grandpa and even dad have to also watch the videos when they put him to bed. This was all going swimmingly for me until he started to get interested in trailers himself a few months ago (now aged 5) and has started paying attention and asking questions. Sigh. Tonight we wrapped the video without him falling asleep (alas a common occurrence these days), when he asked 'Is Josh the RV Nerd real?'. He's been asking this question recently about all his superheroes (Spiderman, batman), so he was in awe when I actually answered him 'YES!!!' this time. Nerd aka SUPERHERO. But please be boring to him again so that he'll go to sleep!
Regarding the slide out mini pantry, I don't see why they couldn't use a hinge on that slide out drawer lip and allow people to just rotate it 180 degrees so it hangs down or 90 degrees to lay flat, giving the owner the option to use it as both a drawer and a keyboard tray. Also just a side note, I saw the cabinet door on the dinette closest to the entry door wasn't ever opened. Is there storage in there, or is there electrical/ducting preventing it from being used as such?
Great camper. One thing they could offer is a small bedroom closet slide, that would compete with the Flagstaff/Rockwood units. Thanks Josh, you are the best on the web!
I like this simple build but a couple of notes. The dining table should be a desk design as anyone who is just a couple will sit in front of the TV and eat dinner. The TV needs to be able to go up to 65 inches. The queen bed is perfectly fine if you aren't a big couple. The TV in the bedroom needs to be at the foot of the bed, no matter where you place it
I love this unit as well. I would have moved the pantry on the right side of the dinning so you have another camp side window. We will be buying one in the spring for sure.
Nice couple's unit. I like the idea that they will likely recess the TV a bit more which should allow it to be angled even more for viewing from the sofa and dinette. I never thought about it but I think that's why I like rear kitchen models, because the the sofa/dinette occupy the slide giving the most visibility to the entertainment center when more than two people are watching. It also allows floorplans with the greatest separation between the kitchen & bathroom. Likes: 10 cf fridge, have that side-drain sink in our home, tall rectangular shower for tall guys, and yes to a desk/keyboard capability in that pull-out tray.
The awing needs to span the 2nd door. As a family (4), a maximized wall-to-wall dinette gains the camp window and makes sleeping an option. Love the long couch but a sleeper option is needed with the small dinette. A dinette overhead storage is our pantry. Pantry below the TV or no TV would help (we're not TV folk). The desk option is not likely a use for us, but the desk should be removable to expand storage. Awesome job fitting it under 30' to make my list.. once improved :)
I really like this floor plan. Normally I don’t like the sofa facing the kitchen but this faces a tv and fireplace, which i would keep if it were my choice. I like those sliding shelves above the fireplace. You could have low baskets in them or cutlery holders and would be great for flippers and wooden spoons, napkins, trays and much more. As for the TV height….I would usually be reclining but might make sense to have it on an arm that tilts up and down as well as to the side for the dining table. I also appreciate that the fridge isn;t set back in the slide…saw that in a trailer and picture my husband spending his entire vacation explaining the goose egg on his forehead lol. So my only suggestion is that the kitchen sink should be reconfigured. I can just imagine doing dishes at an angle and feeling that over 50 *ping* in my lower back. There’s so much counter space that you don;t really need that flip up piece by the sink, and maybe they could extend the sink and counter there so that you could stand squarely in front of it. Overall, I”m interested!
Like the overall design. 1-Need to change the dining table...lose the posts...make it wall mount or folding legs to make the table portable. 2-I would want option on the fire place...I would go with more cabinet space...maybe with pullout shelves. 3- make the sofa an sleeper sofa option? Oh yeah, what are the doors...if glass it's nice but do they blowout if hit? Is there a option on suspension to a torsion system? Love front storage set up. Well done Alliance / Delta.
I also wondered why they didn't extend the awning to the other side of the bedroom door. I guess I'd get a small moonshade for that area. Normally I don't like walk through bathrooms, but with the two doors, I do t mind it. I'd rather get rid of the fireplace and have drawer storage. Love the standard two air conditioners. I love the fact that there are no outdoor speakers. Less holes!
Fo the two drawer cabinet/pantry, I would take out the top drawer and use the bottom drawer for pots and pans. I would install removable dividers in the drawer to use a portion as a normal pantry, towel and wash cloth storage etc….
Goodness.. so much great to say about this unit. But would remove fireplace, an open area or additional drawer space. Replace cabinet over dinette with shelf and larger window. Excellent review ! Greetings from this positively balmy prairie province !
I think the TV and the fireplace have no real need to be so far forward unless they have storage behind them. The sofa seating is a big improvement. And it's good they still give you the option for a spare bed in the dinette. Those pockets behind the fridge would be great for charging devices of they had the connections. It's great they've listened about flip ups. I quite like the faux desk. I never thought about the need for your own picnic table - now it's a deal breaker 😂
Oct 4, 2014, i was looking at this Delta 252 and some things have changed. I just got there and a customer was picking it that week, brand new 2025. Few points, solar is now 400 W. Pantry by door has slide outs on shelves so no more reaching to the back, just pull it out and get back items. Under kitchen counter above fireplace is one big draw. Above the table cabinets have piston struts. Bathroom should come with 12 inch fan standard not the 4 inch. A 12 inch 12 v fan would create a nice air flow if you didnt have electric to run AC. With the hot cold mix for 3 outside ports how do you control where water comes out? Is it pressured and when you open hose water goes to open hose and is blocked by the caps on other 2, Great unit and im ordering with week with auto leveling.
I am probably the odd ball on this, but I like the full size queen fixed bed, or even a well done murphy version. I like having a decent size side table/stand next to the bed for things like phones, tablets, books, keys, even bottled water, you lose that so often when they they try to do kings or bed slides. Plus being able to easily source replacement mattresses and bedding is a win to me.
TV on a televator. Overhead cabinets where the TV is. Make the storage between the fireplace and the counter shallow depth to allow for the tv travel, or perhaps relocate the switch/control panel behind the cabinet doors. With the overhead cabinets, you’ll have more storage, no ceiling mount tv, and still preserve the camp side window.
Really like this trailer a lot. We have a Transcend 245rl with this floorplan, although the Imagine 2500RL is the Grand Design to compare it to. Alliance took that floorplan and made a lot of nice changes. Not sure if I would want the dinette instead of the trifold sofa but do love that pantry so maybe if you change the table to one that is moveable. Love the fireplace. Not sure why, we don't really camp in the cold. 😂
I love love this TT but yes remove the fixed pedestal table and use a floating table. The kitchen is great but leave the pullout tray as is, that is not going to a desk. That pullout drawer would be great for cookie sheets, baking dishes, cutting boards etc. The space below, perfect for DVD's, CD's and the like. Bathroom is good. Have an option for an RV king bed because LOL we don't watch TV in the living area in our Newmar we watch in the bedroom, me and my wife in bed with our dog. Dang good job Alliance.
I would definitely prefer a free-floating table. The sink is nice. My thoughts on the cabinet below the TV that has the fireplace: Kill the fireplace, put in a televator, and put cabinets in the place of the TV. The normal size queen bed is nice. I don't understand why so many RVs come with the princess beds. The color-coded wiring and plumbing that can be isolated just make sense. All manufacturers should do it. And I noticed that there are no exterior speakers! Yay! The ladder is nice. I recently purchased an RV for my son that has no provision for a ladder at all. He lives in a park full-time, so having a ladder isn't a big deal. Another outstanding video Uncle Josh!
Need bedroom storage and outside ladder needs to wrap up on to roof ( for safety)
🙌🏻 so glad you like it. Thank you.
There should be a “televator” behind the fireplace. Would solve the issue with having the tv mounted too high, and still maintain the camp side windows
A few other folks mentioned that as well. Ty!
@joshthervnerd would love a video showcasing travel trailers with a televator. We rarely watch TV when camping so would love to have it out of the way only to be brought out on the very rare occasions we use it.
Thank you Alliance for the 30 amp A/C action!
☺
I'd love a longer awning. With center brace
👍🏻
🎉🎉🎉 YES!! Alliance nailed this floor plan. Big “likes” over competing offerings:
- Awesome, long recliner couch
- Real pantry
- did not angle-back counter by door - provides more counter space + storage.
- FIREPLACE!! 👍 (Grand Design totally whiffed on this…)
- The independent, adjustable bedside reading lights.
A couple minor issues, but not deal-breakers:
- knee-knocker table
- be nice if awning covered both doors
The sliding drawers above fireplace are perfect for dinnerware + right next to dinette. Handy!
Another great review Josh!! 👍
Awesome glad you like it
This is perfect couples Floorplan.
TY! Cougar, sunset trail, heritage glen have similar things
Ember has one coming as well

Love pass through bathrooms! Beautiful camper.
Ty. I like that idea though j think they just removed it entirely
I love this!
1. Traditional dinette is a nice change. I agree about the legs.
2. I like the slide out drawer. Nice to have multiple use features.
3. Queen bed! Yes😊
Well glad you like it! :)
Love this unit! Some suggestions:
-Awning to cover 2nd door
-Dog D ring outside.
(don’t like my toothbrush out where I crap)
-Runway lighting in the bathroom(or I will just buy a sensor light to help w/aiming😉)
-Couch USB connector to be on front of the arm or on the wall
- Gray / white colors would look beautiful.
Hope to see this unit at the next RV show!
Uncle Josh, awesome video as always!
These are solid points. Ty
I like all of your ideas!
1.) Love that
2) Yesssssssssssssssss
3.) I like the extended idea
4.) I also wondered about that..
5.) YES
6.) OOH! Appliance shelf! Smart!
7.) Slide-forward shelving would be amazing
8.) 💯
9.) Again.. nailed it|
10> TY for the info
Man.. i need to get you in front of some of these companies!
Swap the dinet and pantry with the bathroom and I'd consider it
We really like this layout. Really would work for us. Thank you for all you do for us.
My pleasure :)
Privacy shades should be standard on doors
THANK YOU!
The doors are black plexiglass. Can't see through them
I think this travel trailer is very nice. One thing I would suggest is the countertop extension by the sink. I’d make it flush with the countertop when extended.
Ooh that could be nice
Longer awning over both doors, tilting TV, struts on the overhead cabs, dining chairs, stabilizers?,❤❤
Fireplace all the way. Privacy shade agree it needs one. Love the sofa. Definitely need struts on cabinets. Leave the drawer like it is. It can be used for a computer. Stick with queen bed. The awning could be over the bedroom door. Great job Josh
Thank you!
Thanks for the insights!
We’ve been waiting for this trailer to be released. Can’t wait to see one in person!!!
☺ I hope it was worth the wait!
@@JoshtheRVNerd the wait is not over …. Haven’t seen one in person yet… also really curious about production changes.
90gal gray water is amazing!
Bigger awning would be cool. This one is at the top of my list now.
Good choice!
Interesting idea!!
It would have been awesome
To have 2 air units.
Love love love it
I do prefer the rear dinette and side sofa like this myself but that 245 transcend is solid as well
Alliance is my favorite by far. It looks great inside and out. I really like having access to the connections in the passthrough area. The things I would change are the dinette table. That should be a free-standing table for more leg room.
Also, it would be nice if the awning were long enough to cover both entries.
That said, I'm pretty sure this will still be my next rv!
Nice pick!
Wow, lots to really like. As full time nomads in a 41 ft fiver, I keep watching for the ideal smaller unit. I really like the living area & kitchen but would need more storage/room in the bedroom.
look at the Forest River 25RBLS
If Delta is listening, please put in a larger fresh water tank. 45 gallons is below what's needed when boondocking or dry camping. Especially since the holding tank capacity is triple the amount of fresh water capacity. I've seen some trailers in this size with an 81 gallon fresh water tank. That would make this an awesome off grid trailer.
👍🏻 I am screen shotting and pass it along
We bought one of these and have just realized how small the freshwater tank is as we are out of water but have plenty of storage left in the gray tanks. We are dry camping and there’s no way to add water to the fresh tank from a container as it goes in through the city water connection and you just turn the valve to divert it to the storage tank. Way to go Alliance😢
Outdoors rv has 80 gal fresh water
Just hinge that lip on the pullout drawer (so it could flip down) above the fireplace and then it could be a dual drawer or a keyboard tray.
I have a drawer like that at home actually
Oh very cool! Congratulations!
That 2500 is a really good Rick. I hope it’s treated you well.
Some sort of elevator is definitely possible. Hopefully they find a way to sort of find a happy medium for a lot of the ideas that we are getting.
Great place to store the laptop (was there power close by?)
Like the trash can tip out, the soft close cabinets and toilet lid, both sink are a good size, the ladder, outside water control, the griddle/grill combo and the height.
The dual AC on the 30amp is spectacular.
Upper cabinets should have struts.
Overall there are no deal breakers.
Awesome Ty Jennifer
Finally a fireplace in this layout! The tv needs to drop down. Great to have a pantry, but removable table would be nice. All in all, very nice!
Josh,
1. Televator for the tv, make the space above storage.
2. Option in a desk setup in place of the traditional dinette for the work on the road group.
Really like the pantry set up and the larger sitting couch.
Great idea to standardize the dual ac
Thanks for the great videos!
Love the ideas. Ty
Get over the knee knockers LOL. Folding one of those tables into a bed is a nightmare. I like this unit a lot and thanks again for a great review
I'm not a major fan of those elliptical bases if that's what you're referencing. Like you said they're more to wrestle and they don't give you any leg room
I'm referencing a set of light weight folding legs that flip flat to the bottom of the table.
You cannot option a heat pump onto those air units but I think it would be really handy if you could
Kudos to them for not putting an unreliable drop down mount on the TV- good idea- I’d like one if it works properly. LOVE the theater seating!!!! Good job overall.
Yeah if you put a part in.. make it a good one
I agree about the tapered counter. Looking to change that (and go to solid surface countertop) on our similar floorplan Cougar 25RDS.
Thank you. I keep telling builders to square it off. But until they do I'll keep gathering feedback and beating them over the head with it
Queen bed with larger side stands is a must for CPAP use.. The 3 seat sofa would be nice. Every time I get up to get an aluminum encased drink for my wife, the dog steals my seat. They did a good job with the size they had to work with.
Glad you like it. TY :)
Love the input. TY. I think squaring off the counter is really step-1 for this stuff
Thanks so much!
Josh, I like the setup. Only thing I would change is add a closet slideout in the bedroom, if possible.
Awesome Ty
Under TV, lose the doors and drawers and just put in a giant deep full extension drawer. 👍👍👍
and make the counter top slide out for desk space.🤔🤔🤔
Considering it's really not a great desk option as it sets that feels like one of the best ways to just make it solidly functional
Thank you for talking your shoes off during this video. Love this RV😊
It just seems like the proper respectful thing to do. Drives me that’s when I see people grind their shoes on what will become someone else’s furniture
Wish the awning covered the second front bedroom door.
I could see it. Quite a few folks had the same idea
Love the Sofa! Kitchen Garbage, yeah!
This one just made my short list. If the dinette could be switched out for a regular dining table (so I could easily trade it out for a desk) it would be perfect for what I need in an RV
Table/Chairs is available!
@JoshtheRVNerd awesome! Thanks!!! I didn't see that on their site. I will definitely keep this one at the top of my list. I'm hoping to buy later this year :)
They need a shoe garage on this model!
👍🏻
I like the kitchen sink display . Smart.
This model is now on my short list to purchase, yes it's that nice.
lol i don’t even need to check the screen name when I see the word “plaid” in the comment
We looked at these when they first started hitting the lots. From what we saw and their forums, they were initially struggling with fit and finish from the factory.
But they REALLY REALLY were active in trying to get it right.
I'm really rooting for them and hope things have improved.
It really looks like they are out imagining Imagine.
lol I think that’s actually a great way of saying it
Josh, you are so not right....thats exactly why I watch you....kindred soul.
Thank you!
I would love the longer awning!
Would be nice. TY
Congratulations on the great RV. I hope it treats you well.
I’m pretty sure this will be my next camper! Nice job hitting all the features.
Ty
3 butt sofa! Normal size dinette! Tootsy toaster! Pantry by the door! Countertop space! Checks all the boxes 😊
Honestly, this is an ideal floorplan for a projector tv. Go for a huge window opposite the sofa, and have the drop down screen.
Could be super cool!
Love the slide open pantry door!! For seniors...great spot! ❤ Would love a king bed, but all the other plusses make it a winner! Shower...awesome!
Hahaha that’s amazing! It would be amazing if we could meet sometime
I think they just deleted the drawer entirely for production. I could be mistaken. Haven't seen one since
If I didn't open something, then chances are it's not storage. Check on the outside of the RV. Probably something there
I want one !! Great review Josh, I have been waiting for this one !! Thank You.
Hope you enjoy it!
The TV in the bedroom needs to be at the foot of the bed, no matter where you place it
I like convertible dining setups. They're out there. We just don't see many
Alliance is now putting struts on the doors above dinette and bed
🙌🏻
That sofa is awesome!
Thought you'd like that. I really enjoy those
I like the Dinette and sofa situation here. I still prefer to not have a walk through bathroom, but I get that it maximizes space.
Jay Feather has a similar offering with a walk-around bath. But that does force about 18-24 extra inches of length onto the rig
I really like that floor plan!!
I love this unit as well. I would have moved the pantry on the right side of the dinning so you have another camp side window. We will be buying one in the spring for sure.
👍🏻 Ty
Any chance they will go for table and chairs option in the back? Not a fan of dinettes. I really like the design other than that.
I second the table & chairs vote
a traditional table/chairs option is available but i've not seen any fancy folding job as of yet
Why not a riser television in the counter behind the fireplace?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Awesome Ty Alan
Some type of locking strap/mechanism on that TV mount. Really like this layout. Would prefer a trifold couch for grandkids however.
It does have a strap holdback for transit. I simply tucked it away for the video
60 x 80 beds are perfect!!!!
awesome!
Drawer above fire. I vote for one big one.
Dimmers anywhere inside is a plus. Awning as well.
Ty for the drawer feedback
Drop the slide out drawer, add a piece of counter top that slides out and comes up flush with the other counter.
oooh.. that's cool
Awesome bath cabinets. Love the bed area. My only negative is no fridge outside.
Fair enough. Thx for tuning in!
Looks perfect to me. Or as you would say…”Nailed it!”
Great unit, wouldn't change anything
Wow nice! :)
Yeah it’s a pretty solid offering I think
Nice twist on the concept
Less holes!
I have a guess
Awnings aren’t ordered by the inch. It’s possible the supplier didn’t have one that quite threaded that needle
Ty for sharing!
I like the TV cabinet where it is. It should be more prominent than the microwave.
Ty
I agree, floating table but the panty door needs to open towards the table for cooking/loading convenience.
Yeah pantry felt backwards to me
I like the layout with the larger couch. Yes, please drop the tray above the fireplace and give us taller storage.
TY! Great feedback
Fair point. Pushing that stuff back can make the rig look bigger as well
I thought the TV did have storage behind it. Or is that something they added after this video?
Oct 4, 2014, i was looking at this Delta 252 and some things have changed. I just got there and a customer was picking it that week, brand new 2025.
Few points, solar is now
Is it pressured and when you open hose water goes to open hose and is blocked by the caps on other 2,
Great unit and im ordering with week with auto leveling.
Love this one like you I don't care for kneenocker tables .Only drawback for me is the 16" oven.
TY
I am probably the odd ball on this, but I like the full size queen fixed bed, or even a well done murphy version. I like having a decent size side table/stand next to the bed for things like phones, tablets, books, keys, even bottled water, you lose that so often when they they try to do kings or bed slides. Plus being able to easily source replacement mattresses and bedding is a win to me.
My wife would prefer a king bed because she likes space while sleeping. I tend to smother/cuddle which drives her nuts when she's ready to clock out
TV on a televator.
Sounds great to me!
They still look cool even in summer time
I love love this TT but yes remove the fixed pedestal table and use a floating table.
Appreciate the input!
Lot of televator requests. Ty
