Today we dive into the beginning of a new Phantom Forces Stereotypes Series! This time around we're going to be going over Attachment Stereotypes! Of course, starting off with the optics. And we all know that Phantom Forces has a trillion different attachments so attachments that are similar to each other or share the same trait will be grouped together into one segment.

Now for those who are new, this is a series where I go over stereotypes for particular attachment classes in Phantom Forces. Stereotypes are basically what a person automatically assumes about another person at first glance. In this case, it depends on the attachment said person is using. So for example, if a person is using the Kousaku sight. Most people automatically assume this person is a no-life hypersweat and so through time that became the stereotype for the Kousaku Sight.

Electra x5 user here. I personally find the reticle to be very cool and also the Laser can benefit sometimes but the real reason why I use this sight is because it's the highest magnification sight that doesn't have Breath Mechanics. After x5 (VCOG x6 for example) you have to steady your scope which I have always found quite annoying. Now I can have a good magnification without worrying about scope sway and breathing
Yeah, after the skeleton grip nerf. I use this sight and the night vision scope cause it has no sway

Hey, i just switch my Hensold zx4 to this and i can confirm! Not only that, this sight is also usable for pretty long range snipe due to the scope layout helps with the drop compensating
Electra X5 is actually a fun scope, and a good scope for headshots, because of the lasers, and some beautiful dots that helpful :D
As a C79 user, you may not believe me, but I use it on the intervention for the option to snipe at medium and long ranges. Yes, I use a medium-range sight for long range, and I hit heads. I need to touch some grass.

As someone who uses the Carry Handle on the AR-15 family guns, I do have to say the stereotype was very accurate
I use the anti air sight only when there is someone flyhacking and I turn myself into AAA defense

the FF NV scope is not really problematic if you're on lower graphics (or you turn on daylight cycle). Had quite some games with it, definitely a good sight for troll builds or just an alternative to other 3x scopes
even on low graphics it hurts my eyes, if it didnt have the green stuff it would definitely be my favourite sniper scope

A guy who uses MARS, DCL120, Electra 5x, or any sight that has recoil values is an evil genius. They usually create some of the best setups you've seen, better setups than the "meta" ones imo. They are always crazy at the game and will give you the best gun you've ever seen in your life.

I kinda liked the Z24 because it was the only sight with no sway. But now every other low zoom scopes have this no sway feature.

I love using default sights on almost any gun. some guns like the m21, the mosin(before the zoom changed), the stevens db, and the mp40 are really good
as soon as a saw the unfolded leaf sight i knew it was going to be demoman
I find that a lot of new players buy the anti (or furro sight, whichever has a higher number of kills to unlock) sight on the MP5K
i used animu on my hk416 along with a sideways grip just to add insult to injury when someoen got killed by it

16:45 fun fact: the zip 22 s long range drop kind of goes around the pso-1 s second marking, making it very useful for estimating drop when sniping with it.

Fun fact: ACOGs with a more zoom option are better than Sniper scopes cuz of the no need to use the steady aim, btw the electra 5x needs to be used more

My main sights for automatics are the DDHB Reflex and OKP-7.
The OKP-7 you got it pretty much right + that it is very clear, good magnification and easy to use.
The DDHB Reflex is because it is just a better Reflex Sight, yes I fall under the "Veteran" part in Reflex Sight but when the DDHB came out, I moved to that on every rifle that is capable of medium/long range and the OKP-7 for shorter ranges and anything that is Russian.

I main Electra 5x and it by no means is the best sight, I love it because it A: looks cool (with red gradient dots for the reticle), B: is gold by default, and C: has a built-in laser (that of which I think affects stats).

Finally after waiting it's coming
0:29 so i saw the thumper loadout in the intro and im not tryna flex but i lowkey feel like this is my loadout lol. Mine has probably over 2k kills on it over the span of a year MAYBE. I think this was around the pacific update. This thumper started out as stock but then I had a half ring sight on it and then prebought all my attachments starting with 410 beehive, loudener, and blue laser. Eventually I changed to gold a week after I got all this. The sight just recently changed to kousaku about a month after kousaku was released. Fell in love with this gun when I got crossmapped by one user and started trying it out for myself. This is a true story no cap and I still use it to this day as my "primary" shotgun class

so i only use it on the colt lmg, and let me tell you it works well in certain situations
i have a classic muzzle brake stubby grip blue laser setup with it and it's a laser, wobbles around a bit but it just works.

to be fair the swarovski is actually pretty good after the scopes update. its 2 optics in one (an iron and a scope) and the height allows you to avoid the new muzzle flash the way reflex sights dont
the only gun i actually used the ddhb reflex on was the hk416, i tried it out one day because i was tired of the coyote sight so i swapped it out. Its actually pretty 👌

when a new gun comes out I normally use z-point till I unlock reflex, then use that till I get the okp

I'm a Malcolm 3x user on the Scar L with no recoil set up. Feels good to just mow down a group of snipers with a auto one
I felt in love with the kousaku oled sight bc the dot resemble the one i use in payday 2 and my (over) 2 000h on this game
i use the pso-1 for most of my dmrs a long range it works pretty well

I typically just put iron sights on my snipers so i can scope, and use iron sights for any occasion, and AK47 AK74 with iron sights is awesome

(for barrel and under barrel attachments, it isn’t really possible for other and ammo)
