@@dailygodsmsgdoes Elisabeth Elliott have any sermons about understanding His discipline? I’ve been undergoing a discipline for 35yrs…I don’t understand it nor how to use it for Him. Thank you
I think often it’s difficult to distinguish discipline from wrath but his discipline is indeed welcomed because what could be worse then not belonging to him.
The bible says that God’s wrath was satisfied when Jesus hung on the cross. This means that if you are His child, there’s no wrath (no condemnation) over you. Unbelievers are called “children of wrath” for this reason, but those under the grace of Jesus Christ have been entirely justified, wiped clean and set apart. Therefore, if Jesus is your Master and God is your Father, every bit of pain and discipline in your life is only there to work for your good and His glory. You have been called according to His purpose, and His purpose is to sanctify you and conform you into His image - not out of wrath.
I’m so sorry to hear this and I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to see your baby endure such pain. May God shower you with grace, so that you may endure. He never leaves us unequipped to fulfill His calling for our lives - however difficult the calling may be. Jesus has endured every pain and temptation so that you don’t have to endure it alone! I wish I could give you a hug, but know that God is, right now, closer to you than anyone could ever be!

I am frustrated because my 10 year old granddaughter has stage 4 cancer, in her 3rd relapse in 3 years☹️
Her name is Aubrey Hope, please pray for her.
