Fake Love was my first MV my granddaughters showed me I fell in love with them but the song Love Myself will always have special place in my and my family heart.💜

I am 65 (RM bias) and live in a "House of ARMY" with my daughter 40 (V bias ), and granddaughters 11(J Hope bias) and 14 (Jin bias). I have been ARMY for 4 years with my granddaughters and my daughter has been ARMY for 5. My daughter and I have been to 3 concerts in LA and New York. I am glad you have met the members and found out each of their parts and places in the group.
As for my favorite group mvs to watch: BORN SINGER (written by the 3 rappers and details what they went through in the early years) NO MORE DREAM ( their first video released june 2013) . I would also suggest watching a mv from each of their albums and see their growth over the years. Then watch individual songs from the members; PERSONA - RM, DAECHWITA - SUGA, EGO - J HOPE, EUPHORIA - JUNGKOOK, LIE - JIMIN, SINGULARITY - V, and JIN - EPIPHANY

I'm 55, my 17yo daughter introduced me to BTS 4 years ago and I became a proud ARMY since then.
These 7 guys helped my daughter to overcome a very hard time. I can't be More thankful to BTS. They told her (through their music and messeges) all I wanted to say but was not able to find the words to reach her soul.

I became a better person after becoming an Army in 2016, BTS helped my go through my darkest days, divorce, child custody battle and temporary blindness. I wish BTS knows that I wake up everyday wanting to live because of them. Life is tough and the music of BTS is like therapy and a refuge for Armys. 💜

I'm sure BTS was disappointed that they didn't win the Grammy's. They care about their fans so much that they didn't want to show their sadness as they knew how upset we were. They even did a live stream soon after to thank the fans and let us know they were ok. The mutual love between BTS and ARMY is out of this world. I'm 61 and I have never loved an artist or group the way I feel about BTS. I'm just grateful that I found them.
Gosh! I have so many favourites - Black Swan, Idol, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Mic Drop, Fire for starters. My very favourite songs have no mvs sadly. You should also check out their solo work and live performances - lots of amazing songs there too.

You most probably won’t love every single song you react to, and that is cool, no worries - Army just ask that you keep criticism respectful, and you won’t have any issues with the fans, whether you like a song or not 💜🤷♂️ You might get the odd strange one who completely overreacts and is inappropriate- and for that, I will apologise in advance - but we can’t gatekeep the fandom entirely…😁🙈
As we see which songs you prefer, it will be easier to give recommendations, but in all cases, you should always do a lyric review, and a live performance, as well as the mv…sometimes a dance practice too…😂😂

I've been an army since 2014 and it literally is a blessing knowing BTS and being an army. As I grew up, I took a break from fandom activities for a year or two due to some personal problems and I realised that I had depression for about a year and half, and one night I listened to 'your eyes tell' and got a sense of comfort and love, and I can't put on the words to explain the feeling more...I knew at that moment that I was a happy and joyful person when I was in the fandom....and that gave BTS the biggest place in my heart and life..they were also my family. Today I'm proud to say that I'm an army and will forever be one.

I love when people (especially reactors) are respectful of BTS and they dive more into the meanings of their songs and their musicality rather than going "oh, their dancing is cool" or "it's so catchy".
BTS songs are mostly composed and written by themselves with some help from their own company’s in-house producers (Supreme Boi, Pdogg, Slow Rabbit, Hiss Noise, Adora, ‘Hitman Bang’-CEO of the company and a few more others). They usually write songs that speak about mental health, society & social issues, speaking up for the youths and self-love. They are also incredible lyricists and often use a lot of metaphors, double (or triple, even quadruple) entandres, psychological, literary and philosophical themes, real events, etc. Fans like myself love them for their music along with their amazing personality, hard work, altruism and kindness. All their songs have meanings behind their lyrics. So if you react to their MVs or songs make sure to read the lyrics and on the CCs! 💜 You might enjoy RM's and Suga's work, especially! 💜 Recommending Suga's song "the last" and RM's song "moonchild" from their solo mixtapes, they really are a great insight of their psyche. from j-hope's solo work, I heavily recommend "airplane" and "blue side". Again, read their lyrics, they're beyond amazing.
I said that their albums are heavily referenced to psychological theories, literature and art, an amazing example is their album series ‘Map of the Soul’ is based off the book called ‘Jung’s Map of the Soul’ by Carl Jung.

- Spring Day (Sewol Ferry Tragedy)chibana
- Am I wrong (political)
- Paradise (mental health and race to success)
- Spine Breaker (children breaking their parents backs just to be "trendy")
- No more dream (debut song, your dream vs your parents' dream for you)
- N.O. (rigid school system makjng mindless robots)
They have plenty more especially their solo songs and the boys' individual mixtapes/musics (yes they are allowed to create music outside of bts). Another example of their amazing artistry is shown in their Love Yourself solo works. From the video performance "BTS Special" or "BTS 2018 Daechukjae special", if we take note the order that they performed, we get this order.
1. "Just Dance" (JHOPE solo) - Falling in love "I like feeling the happy of being with you.
2. "Euphoria" (Jungkook solo) - Feeling happy with your lover "You are the cause of my euphoria"
3. "Serendipity" (Jimin solo) - Feeling like your love was destined "The universe has moved for us”. Yellow is the main focus of colour in the MV because when the MV dropped it was September which was Suicide Prevention Awareness month. The album being titled Love Yourself hits different
4. "Love" (RM solo) - Experiencing love from someone special and beginning to rely on it. "Because of you, I knew why a person should live by love"
5. "Singularity" (V solo) - Realizing that you are losing yourself or wearing a mask just to please your lover "Have I lost myself or have I gained you?" "I buried my voice for you"
6. "Seesaw" (Suga solo) - Being stuck in a repetitive up-and-down relationship, umable to leave, until finally realizing that you can. "Im getting off this seesaw without you"
7. "Epiphany" (Jin solo) - The realization that before you can love others, you must first learn to love yourself. "Shining me, precious soul of mine... not so perfect but so beautiful." "Im the one I should love"
You have to realize that their whole concept in this era is about loving yourself, BUT they dont make every song about it.
BTS taught me and demonstrated to me through music and lyric composition on how and why I should love myself.
Fun fact: Jimin is often associated with water (like suga with fire). You can see it in I need you, fake love and some other videos (will not give spoilers here). Jimin's characters in the music videos are often about reminiscing about the past, also often drowning in pain and struggles. So, the use of blue is very common in Jimin's videos.

Otherthan that, I highly recommend you watch their own content, such as Bangtanbombs and their own series. If you really want to get to know them, I HIGHLY recommend you watch the following series:
1. Run BTS: Available on VLive (app and web). It's an ongoing variety show starring the members. It serves as part game-show part reality show where you can see their dynamics at play. They're ridiculously funny and I can assure you you'll laugh your beard off with their antics. It's almost 150 episodes long but they go by in a jiffy.
2. Bon Voyage: It is a reality show that features the members of BTS travelling around the world. It's four seasons long and it shows us a side of the boys that we rarely see. They're often left to their own devices during most of the season, with only certain activities and accommodations being planned by the staff. It's the best way to get to know the members' personalities and dynamics when "off-camera". They're still being filmed so it's not a direct look into their private life (and thank you for that, they deserve to rest and have privacy!!) but we do see them without their composed "idol" personas!
3. BTS: in the Soop: Their most recent reality show, it served as the 2020 and 2021 stand-in for Bon Voyage since they couldn't travel due to C*VID-19. The reality show features the members doing activities that are “somewhere in between everyday life and leisure". This is literally them resting for some days and doing whatever they want. Staff provided them with a secure location (in compliance with safety procedures, etc), food and activities but otherwise, the members were left to do whatever they chose for their stay. You can really see them be themselves and it's a very, very beloved series by ARMY because we got to see a few minutes in their daily lives. There's currently two seasons.
4. Their Documentaries and documentary films: Bring the Soul (Docuseries and movie), Break the Silence (Docuseries and movie), Burn the Stage (movie). These documentaries chronicle their lives during a tour. It highlights their anxieties, struggles, hardships, responsibilities and hard work. The movies and the series give us insight into just how much they work and give us their unique perspective when it comes to deeper issues such as their own dreams, their struggles and their worries. It's also very uplifting because it showcases just how deep their relationship is and just how much they rely on each other. Their latest movie Burn the Stage earned them an award.
I'm so sorry for the novel-like comment ahahaha as you can see, ARMY is incredibly passionate about the boys and we love to see other people fall in love with them, not only for their music and dance and talent but, also because they're amazing human beings who have irrevocably changed our lives for the better. There's a reason why they are so beloved and I hope you get to see it too!! I'm sorry if my comments (and likely, other ARMY's) are a bit overwhelming, feel free to go at your own pace!! Sorry!

BTS is also known for their amazing lyricism and thoughtful MVs, and of course vocals and dance, so this is going to be a real whirlwind lol. I purple you! 💜So man people have been encouraged by Zero 0'clock... because we all experience this feeling. When women feel loved and accepted no matter how they look, their color, or age, of course, they will love these guys. It's biblical. Being encouraged with unconditional love will even make both genders become ARMY. If you see them interact with all kinds of people in their fan meets you can see their acceptance of all. Men love these guys too, it helps them be vulnerable too and express the same feeling.

I can’t imagine my life without BTS and ARMY’s. To be honest I don’t know what would’ve happened if I didn’t find them. I was in a really dark time and I wasn’t feeling like myself. They have made me feel loved, save and the ARMY’s too Ofcourse! ABSOLUTELY!! im 18, and i found bts when i was 10 before their debut from their pre debut vlogs :) i watch their content to feel better and cheer up, so they’ve helped me through the darkest of things since my childhood. i’m pretty stone cold, and their journey makes me cry because of how beautiful it has been to watch. i hope to grow even more with them, and i hope you do too!!
