This interview was fantastic. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is such a great guy and he seemed genuinely interested in the questions being asked, it felt like a conversation, not some disingenuous interaction (which is what we often see in Celeb interviews). The interviewer was also great, asked good questions and actually cared about what Nikolaj was saying. I like how it wasn't 100% focused on GoT either because it was felt fresh to hear Nikolaj talk about other things. Great interview, the interviewer really deserves some praise! Hope to see much more of Nikolaj because he's a great guy and a terrific actor who's projects deserve some mainstream attention.

Respect for Nikolaj remembering and putting Arya’s Faceless Man skills into play for the doll game, which played out to be quite a riveting alternative to the actual final season that makes sense (and has continuity!), especially when the show writers *kinda forgot*.
I love this man. He is up there with the greats for me, acting wise. I have seen everything imdb has him listed in, (except I have still have to watch the documentary.) I will watch anything he puts out in the future. He is my absolute favorite actor, ever. It made me so mad when New Amsterdam didn't make it to season 2...I still haven't recovered from that. Near the beginning of the final episode, Jon tells Grey Worm not to kill those who surrendered and to wait until he talks to Dany. As Jon is walking away, you can see that Grey Worm ignores him and begins slaugthering them anyway. C'mon! He has more respect than that. Now, the character of Gray Worm has been deminish to nothing more than that of an angry, evil henchmen.
Greyworm does not answer to Jon, so he didn't have to stop. In addition, Missande was Greyworm's humanity, so her death was also the death of everything human in him.

He follows her, has a history with her and shares his grief with her. I would have been surprised if he’d listened to Jon, especially considering that the idea of talking to Dany was obvious nonsense when she was flying at full speed on their only dragon, burning everything in front of her. You don’t even need to take into account the fear someone like Dany can instill in whoever wants to betray her to understand why he did what he did. It also shows how Dany’s relationships with the Unsullied was always tainted by the concept of slavery and blind loyalty.

I mean, feeble is a stretch. She just isn’t a trained soldier. That said, Jon’s honor and slight Stark idiocy when it comes to play the game of thrones would definitely play in Cersei’s favor. Not to mention, the rules were that they couldn’t call other characters for backup, but not that they couldn’t use what was theirs. The Lannister soldiers and the Golden Company against the Northmen would have been a pretty easy, hour-long battle even without the use of wildfire or some other dirty trick.

I mean, feeble is a stretch. She just isn’t a trained soldier. That said, Jon’s honor and slight Stark idiocy when it comes to play the game of thrones would definitely play in Cersei’s favor. Not to mention, the rules were that they couldn’t call other characters for backup, but not that they couldn’t use what was theirs. The Lannister soldiers and the Golden Company against the Northmen would have been a pretty easy, hour-long battle even without the use of wildfire or some other dirty trick.
