A few laps on Gelleråsen on a KTM 690 Duke Track • Testing 690 SM vs. 690... New movie here; testing the track aginst a 690SM • Testing 690 SM vs. 690... www.ktm.com/new...
Took my 690 to Phillip Island racetrack a few weeks ago. I got smashed down the straight by the sports bikes but WOW! What a track! Turn 1 is flat out at 193kmh leaned over. Awesome fun and no highway patrolman to bend you over and extract your licence from you in an uncomfortable manner. Trackdays rule!
What are you confused about? He wants a Duke Track with with equipment (lights, plate, etc.) to make it street legal. The Duke Track is higher spec than either the regular 690 Duke or the 690 Duke R.
i put full system akrapoic with akrapovic mapping and knn filter and it got over 200. i order a tuning kit with gives more hp and i weigh 100 kgs and im 6'2 and i live in a hot humid place so it can do much more with the tuning kit on and perfect conditions and tiniest rider
normally i hit 194 km/hr. and when i wear my leathers i hit 198 km/hr. i weigh 102 kgs and i am 6,3. so if you are smaller and lighter then you can go much faster. this is fully stock. i just order a tuning kit, full system exhaust and KnN air filter. all if this combined will give about 15 hp extra. perfect bike for track and city. fun and comfortable.
@@worlddxb no bike will get 15 horsepower with that equipment on it. Was it ECU flash a good pipe on it and an air filter Lucky to get eight horsepower most likely five
@@John-o6v4h you’re right. But I felt a big difference with the full akrapovic exhaust compared to stock and air filter. I don’t think I got any tuning kits or ecu flash but I remember I did change the sprocket to a bigger one for more torque and it was a good decision. 100% the best bike I’ve owned and the hands down the most fun hike you can have since it’s so light.
Thats the standard version of it.. This one is lighter and more powerfull beter suspension and brakes. The standard suspension is a bit to soft for track use
unfortunately not, but maby there is still som plastic parts left. There is a guy in Norway that makes carbonfiber and plasticfiber copyes of it. Spinningweels i think the company is the name

Where do I buy all the race fairings and race trip for it? I've heard that you can get all this from KTM , no need to search aftermarket.
This is the ktm 690 Duke Track that was for sale for a while. It came from the factory looking like this with an extra 8 or 9 horsepowers
frefeh woow, do they still sell those ..?
unfortunately not, but maby there is still som plastic parts left. There is a guy in Norway that makes carbonfiber and plasticfiber copyes of it. Spinningweels i think the company is the name
