My grandmother was murdered by grandfather and watching this I really sensed that this wasn’t just Mama ‘passing’ and saying that she ‘suddenly died’, that felt like something a lot more sinister occurred here.
Pretty sure when a first cousin did an interview he (allegedly) said when their grandmother was exhumed due to an ongoing legal battle surrounding her death and assets, she had enough Valium in her system to kill a few horses…he said it’s a legal stalemate due to the resources she (Mary) has to use on the matter. So……

I do believe that Mary was groomed by that old man. He had watched Mary since she was a teen. It’s disgusting. But I also believe that Mary very much so loved the lifestyle she has been able to have with that old man.
I think tha there is a pattern. Definitely. Mama married a man when he was 20 being 20+ her senior. He groomed (in my opinion) not Mary but many other women who are now coming forward.

I was just sitting here watching this and thought, oh gosh, what a weird mess this will be! I honestly don't mean this to be rude, but I always thought Mary was strange and now I can just see she's awkward or shy like her mom. I feel like I can understand the whole picture now a little bit better. I can see Robert Sr taking advantage of her! She was like 21 when she married him!!!! I was no dummy, but I also grew up in a stable, loving home. Money was obviously a big factor for this Robert Cosby MFer
Rosie is lying Mary was 24 when she married Robert she was 21 when she married Dana. Rosie is not shy at all nore is Mary they both just slow, and very manipulative. They give off they shy nice vibe till they get you in then you realize they are evil women. That only care about money and know that to get the money to keep up their life style they control, manipulate, threaten and steal from people. It wasn't the gromming that got Mary it was the promise of wealth. She ain't sleep with Robert Mary can't convince natural. When she gets her itch she sleeps around with other men.

Rosie in her good health would of talked up a storm and talked over them both plus told mark to shut up or put him out the room. Him being there and her allowing him to talk over her the way he did means she actually did need him there to help articulate her thoughts. She extra like Mary so the sunglasses was her extra for the day and she keeps water with her but she will only sip it from a straw she not putting her lips in nobody bottle, cup, or glass

Dear Adam, I've only just had the opportunity to watch this interview. Well done for a very sensitive and empathetic conversation with Mary's parents. Of all the interviews I've watched regarding Mary & her husband, to me this feels the most honest account. I hope at some point, healing will be achieved especially in the light of what "Mama" worked so hard to achieve. I hope everyone gets a chance to see this interview. Thanks Adam and I'm so happy to be one of your Angels 😇
Lot of people are complaining that the husband talked too much or over talked her but in my opinion we wouldn't had much to discuss because the mom couldn't articulate her thoughts, form complete sentences, and she mumbled alot!! I think the husband knows his wife and was helping. The mom even asked for help to answer a question at one point. Rozzie and Mary are alike in the way they communicate, all over the place!! But this was good!!

True. At one point, she asks him to step-in and help her tell the story. She may have some type of cognitive issue that makes it hard to “find the words” to tell the story succinctly. Luckily her husband has been around for 35+ years and knows her story; so he helps her tell it.

IMHO, Mormonism, the Mormon church, etc…it’s all a bit of a mystery here in America and I feel like there’s a lot of stuff that goes on that we don’t know about. It’s been…interesting to see some of it unfold. I think a lot of people turn a blind eye to shady stuff that goes on in the Mormon religion because they are an rich, isolated, don’t include anyone in their drama and (let’s face it) white. Everyone is saying they wish the step father would stop interrupting but you can tell that Mary's mum was emotional and was looking to him to help her tell the story. She also came across quite shy, I can see where Mary gets her shyness from and sometimes it can make her look awkward. I don't think I've ever heard Mary speak a full sentence, she gets it from her mum

Rozie isn't shy. She has preached in front of congregations and directed Faith Temple choirs in front of national audiences. I've listened to her preach. I was at church when everything went down. It was so sad.

I understand why the step father was talking. Mary’s mother is older and she was even asking him to help her out. She loses her words and I’m glad he was there because this interview would of been all over the place if not and you would have to rewatch and rewatch to get the whole concept of what she is saying.

I agree, Rozzy seems like she's struggling with details and keeping up with the questions. Perhaps there's some mental decline involved on her end but their story collectively is concise and I believe them.
I've seen brainwashing happen to my sister and its frightening. The victim eventually believes the alternate narrative and will fill in gaps to stories if need be. However an adult is still culpable at some level and what Mary has continued to do is criminal as far as defrauding the church. It's also vulgar the way she speaks about people who don't accept her alternate reality. It seems shes a bit delusional from the possible Gas lighting over the yrs, she needs a psychological evaluation and therapy to truly get out of this situation and accept reality for what it is.

@@jameshaw9187 I don't know for a fact but it seems like she may have had a stroke at some point. Causes my mom had a stroke and she talks just like rozie here. Real slow. They get something called "aphasia" because of the damage from the stroke and aphasia just means they forget language and have trouble remembering persons, places & things. I swear I felt like I was watching my mom talk. And she gets frustrated when she can't form her words 😢 my dad helps her out just like mark is doing for rozie in this video

So true we would know nothing of Mama without the show. She walked from one state to another. Her story is so interesting.

It was pure hell growing up in her church. We could not have a life outside of the church. We could not have friends outside of the church. If we did we had to bring them to church otherwise their blood was on our hands. We couldn’t go to school dances, movies, travel live a basic life unless our mom got permission for these simple things to happen. Faith Temple from the beginning was a cult. It did not start with Robert and Mary. They just didn’t know how to keep it running like Rosemary (Mama) did. She was a master at it. They were not.

Adam: As usual you made it look very smooth, but I can't imagine how hard you had to work behind the scenes to navigate and put together the vision of what you were trying to accomplish with this interview. But, you did it! 😁
You were able to reign things in and get those burning questions out that we all want the answers to..and clear up some of the conflicting stories from all of the different reports regarding accusations made about Mary, Robert and the church..from their perspective..and keep things back on track with a professional, transparent, and respectful tone. I can appreciate that we got a completely different and unique perspective from what's already been reported so far on the show..and through other family members. I also respect that you gave Rozzy the platform for her to protect HER mother's (Mama) legacy, so she could speak on it directly, in her words. I have so much respect for the fact that you always show compassion in your work regarding people's lives in these type of situations and stories..that are exposed through the reality t.v. world. We need more people like you that use temperance in this genre by using compassion, while stlll being a journalist...by asking the tough questions to get some of the answers we all want, but you always do it with respect to the subject matter. You show so much integrity, and hopefully it will influence others to do or keep doing the same. You are just bringing us the information with no bias., and then it's up to us as individuals to form our personal opinions and make our own conclusions, based on all of the information we recieve out there. That's why I'm glad you chose to interview Mary's mom Rozzy (in particular) about how she felt about everything and anything she might want to clear up about her family. After all, she has been mentioned directly in some of the accusations regarding the judgement she received concerning her mother's will. Therefore, she should be given the opportunity to respond to it directly, and give her side of the story. Well done Adam. 💙
Hopefully, in some way this might even eventually influence Mary to consider taking another look at things..and ultimately reuniting with her mother. You never know. I did connect with Rozzy. After all, She IS the mother of the person everybody's talking about...and the daughter of the legend affectionately known as "Mama" to everyone in the church..as well as her family.. My heart does go out to Rozzy. You could feel her pain from the loss of her mother AND the estrangement with Mary, and how much she misses and loves her daughter. At the end of the day, regardless of the accusations being made by others in the family and on Bravo about Mary and Robert...which are still serious issues that shouldn't be ignored, in regards to anyone victimized (allegedly) by the church...However, whatever it takes to make it right, it would be nice if they could work this out, so Mary and her mother can reunite...and everybody suffering from this situation, and the loss of "Mama" can finally heal as a family.

I love the Step Father you can tell he's a down to earth guy and a pretty good parent. He also sounds like a good husband, he compliments Roz well and speaks/clarifies what Roz is trying to say at times. I thought this would be a train wreck but they seem like a great couple married for 37 years and are in a good happy marriage. God Bless them!

This isn’t genuine. When the church spilt and my mom did not follow Rozie and my cousin wanted to come see me, Rozie started rumors about me. Awful rumors that she told to my cousin who came to me. I’m so glad their empire fell. I’m so glad their skeletons have fallen out of the closet.

I agree, I believe that maybe she was manipulated into marrying Robert, But she is NOT as innocent as they try to make her seem. Mary is a FULL GROWN WOMAN, SHE IS VERY MUCH RESPONSIBLE FOR HER ACTIONS
The mom said "he would kill her"... Someone else commented on the fact that there's a lot of sudden deaths around Bob. So yall saying Mary is in on it cause she grown is ridiculous. Mary knows he is dangerous and is forced to go along. It's probably staying and neglecting her family to protect them. I do agree that Mary being on this show may have been a cry for help...
Here's my opinion:
"Momma" allowed herself to be vexed; and unfortunately that was a danger not only to get daughter, but her granddaughter.
Momma allowed an unstable male pass the threshold of her door, and trouble has not left.
I get they revere her, and that's their mother, but...the bible speaks on "silly women" bringing down the roof over their heads.

She failed to protect her daughter and granddaughter and now they are suffering.

I believe that he did try to get with Mary’s mom first but she turned him down and out of spite he went for her daughter.

That, but I also believe he probably always had his eye on Mary. Like they said, why didn’t he pursue the unmarried daughter? He had his sights set in Mary. Now, after he had her, the thrill was gone because they haven’t slept in the room together in years.

I think it happened like the step father explained it. You have the mother who is over the choir, strong, older and has leadership experience or you have her 20 year younger spitting image daughter who is naive, can be groomed, eager to be pleasing, no children…etc somewhat of an easy choice
