They said Mary went to live with Mama when she entered High School. That means Mary was living and sleeping in the house with Robert Sr when she was just a young teen. That's probably when the grooming began. She probably got married so young because she wanted to escape her home life, but Robert Sr kept stalking her and bringing her back.
My gut tells me Mary's words are her own thoughts, she is being told what to say an is afraid to speak to much of the truth ,maybe her truth has been twisted so many times by Robert she nolonger knows what the truth is. Sad

This is a real story line in which I hope that Bravo gives Mary another chance on the show because Bravo knows how their show helps people in troubled situations like Mary.
First, I love the lighting in Jason's room! Please dish!!! 2nd! Adam you did a phenomenal job!!! The parents haven't spoken to Mary in a lot of years. They don't know why she said what she said about the RHOSLC cast! 3rd Thank you explaining that Mary's mom's age. And the set, you did a great job, loved the camera angels when they were talking. 4th - First time, I'm seeing your beloved partner Jason!! He's soooooo supportive of you! I love it. 💕💕
Just one point - all Pentecostal churches don’t operate as described by Mary’s family. The way Mary’s family operated is extremely specific and individual to their church.
After listening to the callers, I believe that Mary is a spoiled brat. She wanted the money and fame. Still does. Reading between the lines my opinion is that Mary got what Mary wanted. Even if it means having to be with Robert.
So the reason that Mary doesn’t talk to her mother is because they’re against her relationship? I kind of wish you would’ve gotten more into that like how did she stop talking to her mother
Also, Mary is an adult victim but also needs to learn to be accountable for the terrible things she says and has possibly done to her church member's etc. I hope for healing for them all, especially potential victims of Mary's church/fam.
I’m not sure Mary’s mom would have been able to be very articulate. She and her husband have been married a long time and I got the feeling that he takes care of her and wanted to get her truth out there with all of the details. She seemed very uncomfortable and sad. She added info when she wanted to. I didn’t feel any frustration on her part against her husband.

So many things! But what really puzzled me is that Rozzie says I love Mary, I love my daughter so much, I miss her. Mary says, I miss my mom, we were best friends, everyone needs their mom. I haven't talked to my mom for 20 years. Does one of them live in China? I thought there was some kind of hate between them. If they both love each other the way they claim, they have phones. Neither one is locked in a dungeon. This is just one of many missing pieces. Also, because of her anxiety, Rozzie was obviously medicated. No judgment, but I believe she could of been more lucid.
Now that I heard the interview, I hope Mary does not leave the show and that she can be redeemed by the truth. Mary's mother and step father has made it easy to redeem herself from the lies she was told by Robert. Because of what Robert told Mary, she honestly has a good reason for divorcing him.
I'm sorry but I still don't completely buy Mary's innocence. She was not a child lured by an older authority figure. She was a grown married woman who divorced her husband to marry creepy grampa. There are quite a few relatives that have interviews on TH-cam. At least one of them, but I think it was two, said she was paid 6 figures by the family to marry him.
You can tell Mary was not socialized outside of the church. You can also tell she is very naive in some areas. The bishop never let her far from his sight. She seen to struggle with friends. He ruined her relationship with her family and that must be hard. I felt for her mother. Some of her behavior has been bad but I can sympathize with her. Don't judge until you've walked in her shoes. He used her to gain wealth and the church. It was the talk of the city.

Guys, let me tell ya..... a grown woman can be "groomed" it's just manipulation on a very slow consistent level. I have 100% watched my family member *GROWN WOMAN* be manipulated, groomed, gas lit.... whatever ud like to label it. This person in MY fam was OVER 23 and very, very naive about life, though a book smart, University educated, functional adult. This fam member was groomed by what became her eventual spouse. The manipulation was so intense it altered her sense of reality and all she knew to be true. The groomer separated her from her fam and made her completely reliant on him. Though the relationship was forced to end we lost her as a fam member bc she never recovered, her reality was PERMANENTLY altered. It CAN happen to an adult. If the person is young, naive, in need, or at some type of disadvantage 💯✔ Clearly Mary is naive and seems to be COMPLETELY unaware of how offensive she has been in most of what she says. Its disturbing. She's wrong obviously and it was so hard to watch but it makes sense that she's not been existing in the reality the REST of us live in. BTW.... not a fan of Mary at ALL but she needs a lot of help and shouldn't be in charge of a church 😣😰

Grooming started at a child he was in her life early way before mama died and she was married to Dana. If that’s accurate he could have been giving her money buying gifts for her birthday Christmas so on and he knew how to get her. On top of her mother and grandmother and other family basically all were around so she probably ain’t think nothing of it.

I didn't think Mary was a mean person, I just thought she was Kookie. But it lends understanding of why she's grown tired of Robert commenting that he has become an old man. I feel Mama's right hand coming down making Mary realize that things are not what she thought; that she probably was duped.
I’m watching these out of order but did you all get into the claim Mary made about not having a relationship? Mary claimed they weren’t speaking because her mom was upset that she married Robert Sr.because she wanted to be the one to marry Robert Sr. And get the church
DeVona Minor Adam did ask that and basically the mom Rozi said she was already married to the stepdad Mark at the time, had been since Mary was little. Rozi also said that Robert Sr wanted Rozi for himself and told "Mama" Rozi liked him. Supposedly Mama warned Rozi to stay away from Robert bc he was a pervert
I think this church has always had some level of cult like type of atmosphere and it's just increased to whatever it is today. Grooming? I think all around with everyone in that church, again cult like. I also think Mary wanted that "fame" her grandmother had and all the extreme wealth that came along with it. I don't really think she's a total victim. As much as Mom and Mark were honest, they also were protecting Mary. I think Mary is a very active player in this crazy game. I think she's starting to feel the walls cave in and she's shifting it onto her husband and into a victim mode. I honestly think she's greedy and conniving and full expect to here about her and this church on the news one day and look forward to watching a future documentary on this whole church scandal
I really think it wasn't that the Stepfather was cutting Rozi off, she seemed to be struggling to answer the questions either bc of cognitive decline, strong emotions or speech struggles
She has a manipulative side to her that is ingrained. I do not understand how you are able to give her these attributes.. Because we have stories that have some facts attached to them and then we have watched watched the other side that adds credibility to all of that negativity. Coming on this show was a Decision based upon wanting to be famous and it opened up a Pandora's Box for her that she is never going to recover from..In fact this case needs to be sent to the feds because there is no statute of limitations on murder and because of the the allegations of officials being bought off. That makes it big time federal

Being a psychotic maniac when you are angry just means that is how you are when you are angry. Think about things you have said and done when you were angry, and be honest with yourself. It’s easier to understand than y’all think. Grooming + religion is a nasty combination and something an underage child wouldn’t be able to fight against.
The hardest thing for me and to many is to become disciplined in the Lord; very hard. The cross is a symbol not to be fooled around with or used for fashion; it expresses maybe what you think.
We don’t pick n choose what feels right in the Bible. God has rules. I too had a hard time understanding why being gay is a sin. I have a gay son n I was bi before. I’m a Christian now. I follow Jesus Christ rules. All of them. I’m praying for my son. If God says it’s a sin then it’s a sin. We can’t justify it.
You all need to get a Life and leave that woman alone, if any of this is true then why wait to bring ot out now, get a life and move on, this is messy, tacky and disgusting.
But I really feel that Mary may not have really learned the full concept of her religion. You start of reading the 4 Gospels and you would know that the Lord gave us a job to do; to feed the hungry, cloth the needy and take care of whomever ask for it. Also, the Four Gospels talks about how we should get along with each other and demonstrate on how to do it! The Holy Bible as a whole speaks on life and how to find your strength; to keep faith in the Lord and how to find it. Stay in prayer and faith and how to find it. We all go through rebelliousness and the Bible speak and demonstrate how to find faith. The Holy Bible demonstrate how to come back into faith in the Lord; giving understanding, and love, and trying to tell those who understand how you'll never be alone ever because God is forever with you.

Grooming started at a child he was in her life early way before mama died and she was married to Dana. If that’s accurate he could have been giving her money buying gifts for her birthday Christmas so on and he knew how to get her. On top of her mother and grandmother and other family basically all were around so she probably ain’t think nothing of it.

Rozi also said that Robert Sr wanted Rozi for himself and told "Mama" Rozi liked him. Supposedly Mama warned Rozi to stay away from Robert bc he was a pervert

I think this church has always had some level of cult like type of atmosphere and it's just increased to whatever it is today. Grooming? I think all around with everyone in that church, again cult like. I also think Mary wanted that "fame" her grandmother had and all the extreme wealth that came along with it. I don't really think she's a total victim. As much as Mom and Mark were honest, they also were protecting Mary. I think Mary is a very active player in this crazy game. I think she's starting to feel the walls cave in and she's shifting it onto her husband and into a victim mode. But I really feel that Mary may not have really learned the full concept of her religion. You start of reading the 4 Gospels and you would know that the Lord gave us a job to do; to feed the hungry, cloth the needy and take care of whomever ask for it. Also, the Four Gospels talks about how we should get along with each other and demonstrate on how to do it! The Holy Bible as a whole speaks on life and how to find your strength; to keep faith in the Lord and how to find it. Stay in prayer and faith and how to find it. We all go through rebelliousness and the Bible speak and demonstrate how to find faith. The Holy Bible demonstrate how to come back into faith in the Lord; giving understanding, and love, and trying to tell those who understand how you'll never be alone ever because God is forever with you.
