SS United States has left the chat, the fastest ocean liner ever to exist.
Yeah
@captainace1012 The fastest ocean liner.
Ss United States.
Would've loved if they added Mauretania too which held the Blue Riband for 20 years or something.
I only know what that is cause I thought it was the titanic as a kid when I would drive past it😂
Was going to say that!!
Nice! But some of the ships were sitting way too high in the water. For example IJN Yamato kooked like it was sliding on ice!
Awesome video......poor Gorilla 😆
Bro Thats not gorilia is kingkong💀💀
You should have added the United States !
Still, very nice !
I can't wait for my suggestion...
As already posted: Use knots, even if you ALSO show km/h or mph or both. Also, mp/h makes no sense. Interesting video!
Look, I don't give a damn about standarts, i want to know relative speed. So why are you telling someone to conceal an information? You're lost soul =(
@@kostyarikx9754 Not sure if your reply was meant for a different comment because it makes no sense for my comment. My post said nothing advocating concealing any information; on the contrary, my post advocated showing MORE information. But I think that your reply was meant for another post entirely.
@@HolySoliDeoGloria sorry, language barrier =( I though you said display knots, everything else is not correct. Sorry m8, my bad.
@@kostyarikx9754 Thanks for explaining. Nice to know that my soul is not actually lost, whew! Cheers.
2:36 i love that easter egg lol
bruh that ain't a Lamborghini. that's a speedboat
His explains why the Santa Maria took so long to arrive in Cuba
Okay, so the fastest ship is the former German Graf Zeppelin. Anything faster is a boat and not a ship.
MS Estonia is Silja Europa? for shame!
You are wrong about ships speed, it's not mph it knots or Nautical miles. Titanics full speed was 24Nm 44.5 km/h 1 Nm is 1.852km/h and not 38.6km/h.
I work in Sv Navy 430.devision😅
True but people like me don't know what's faster knots or MPH.
2:32 that’s not the USS Nimitz, that’s the USS Gerald R Ford
Some ships (especially Yamato ) are too far out of the water.
They had a full load of hydrogen
merchant ship!.
You said Ships..
what’s with the boats????
When you say human speed, do you mean like Michael Phelps ? Because I swim A LOT slower than him.
That human was breathing water
0:57 YAY TITANIC!
Average Titanic fanboy:
@@Wildcattttt FR! Give Olympic some love
@@themilkyounevergot8700And Britannic
Kong is on the USS Nimitz
2:54 22 knots was its speed... so not a chance that is way off
Why no foiling sailboats?
Could you guys add in that hamster wheel guy in Florida 😅😅😅
1:19 thats Silja Europa what speed IS 22mp and Estonia was 21mp
0:22 bro there's a statue a living statue
Awsm
The Ms Estonia isn’t Silja europa
right
USS iowa is 32 to 33 knots
Glad someone mentioned it. And one of them, either Iowa herself or one of her sister tested to be over 35 knots for a short duration.
I’m mad you didn’t include Micheal Phelps
Where is the SS United states?
It was never made public just how fast she could actually go, her service speed was 32 knots but she could go much faster hence why despite being slowed by fog or a storm she could always make up for lost time and was almost never late.
If she went at full speed ,it would mean using more fuel . So she only just went fast enough to be cost efficient.
1:56 tap the car
Cool
I find it weird that, in a video about speeds at sea, you dont include knots as a measurement 😂
2:31 haha capture the King Kong on the aircraft carrier and it still not sink
Kayak bro not able to use both ends of his paddle
some of horn and whistle aren't detailed right
Titanic: why am I so slow 😭
love titanic❤️
💗💗😍😍💕💕
Definitely missing knots 🤦♂️
Hmhs Britannic left the Chat
Why we got king Kong??
Titanic was never the fastest, Lusitania and Mauretania best it
Yeah
Graf Spee - never built.
thats not ms estonia
Typhoon Akula?

Aquaman late for a hot date 👍👍👍👍
😮😮😮😮😮

It also says Silja Europa

They can beat supra 😂
Could have done without the annoying, irritating, and obnoxious crappy-ass background "music".
Honestly, I don’t think we’ll ever see a sea vessel go faster than the Spirit of Australia. Not because of technology restraints, but because of safety. Attempting the land speed record on the water is super dangerous and has claimed the lives of many who attempted the record, this includes Donald Campbell, Lee Taylor, Craig Arfons the list goes on. The tiniest mistake of miscue can prove fatal, even with the mentality of most land speed record holders that makes them risk life and limb for the history books, it’s just not a risk anybody is willing to take
Theres actually a couple of projects underway at the moment to try and up the speed. Including the family of ken warby, spirit of australias driver/builder.
Ground-effect vehicles/Ekranoplans might get there.
3:40 huh???
Lamborghini Aventador got cursed into a boat😳
u have specs of ms estonia but a 3d model of ms europa
1:15 are you kidding me...that's not the Estonia
Row row row your boat gently down the stream merrily merrily merrily merrily
2:02 Yamato Displacement is inaccurate, The red should be underneath the water surface, you can literally see her propeller exposed down there
lol thought the Titanic is going to hit the iceberg
the icebergs 😂
Its not Estonia , its Silja Europa , its even written on your 3d model )
RF Lun/Loon Class Has Been Left The Chat
🎉🎉🎉 aur new videos please
First 🎉
Not first
WTF :D Silja Europa or Estonia? :D
I❤Yamato
How was the fastest Ocean liner the S.S United States left out?
Devil sixtheen left the chat and Pagani Huayra and Koenisegg Jesko Absolute
Ms Estonia (shows Silja Europa)
2:02 I love how the Yamato is just floating in the air
nice, make also top speed missiles ans balistic missiles :D
U forgot the physics when the boat travels through water
I like this fastest ships
Japan with flying yamato new technology
It should have been Knots instead of mph
0:18 the fuck? thats canoe animation.
So the Olympic class ships were barely any slower than present day cruise ships?
Cruise ships don't need top go fast they don't cross the ocean. Also speed cost money.
Generally ocean liners are quicker than cruise ships, as they need to be able to compensate for bad weather to make up time and keep a tight schedule. So it's not surprising that they were about as fast as modern cruise ships! That being said, though not the fastest ocean liners of their day, they weren't slow for the time either, only being slightly slower than the speed kings, the Mauritania and Lusitania.
Titanic🥰🥰😍😍💖💖
Bro put videos of bus topspeed
Bro spirit of Australia is fast
what is mp/h?
Just a few things to watch out for next time. Overall though a good video.
1: Use knots, not MPH or KPH. Nautical term.
2: Plenty of ships were sitting way above the waterline. Yamato looked like she was hovering over the water.
3: RMS Titanic's 4th funnel was decretive, it wasn't an actual smoke stack funnel.
(and just a small gripe) Why is King Kong covered in feathers?
nobody knows what "knots" are, this video is supposed to tell people how fast these boats were moving, using knots is like using football fields per 11 seconds, it doesnt make sense and everyone would spend more time googling conversions then actually watching the video
Thank you for not using knots. Nobody understands knots. It's an archaic and useless way of describing speed.
How is it archaic? It’s the principle measurement for both ships and planes.
@@hawthornehay9146 > It's time to rejoin the rest of the world and use the same unit a everybody else.
It's used around the world more than any other speed measurement for watercraft and aircraft. I agree that mph (NOT mp/h) and km/h should be shown IN ADDITION TO knots so that everyone has a good reference in familiar units.
Can i just mention Spirit of Australia is made out of plywood. Mr Warby had some stones.
