Doing shibuya as well as a first timer in building. In my opinion it is real difficult to make a sophisticated place like the shibuya crossings. Im thinking of deleting the whole shibuya map im making since i dont have an idea of how to get better
@@gabriel.n10 This is my 3rd or 4th build ever, and it takes a lot of practice; im still learning as I go, especially with optimizing the map. Find lots of references to go off of, it helps a ton, and there's lots of videos across youtube that help! :)
these technically are tutorials 😭This was like, 2 hours worth of footage turned into a timelapse, so if I did a full on tutorial, it'd be hours.. and I mean hours.. later if I'm able to, I might livestream, but I think I need more subs for that, idk how it all works.
@@DarrellVHI first made the ground, road, then sidewalk and curb. With the curves on the curb, it was really tedious, I had to move it by 1, then turn it by 5 degrees, copy paste repeat.
i got an question that if answered would be really helpful, how do i make things really slim? like when i try it, it just teleport on the scaling, there's a limit which just didnt let me make it really slim. btw, w progress, thats so cool.
There's 2 small boxes in the editor with numbers already filled inside, one with the number 1, and one with the number 45. The 1 box, is the number of spaces you move when you position an object, or when you size an object, I usually have this set to 0 or .1 to move objects slim.
First! (I think) plus, you’re gaining subs fast! Congrats!
Edit: 5:40 is best part
keep doing these timelapses, i really enjoy them, thanks

@@TheOGLGRefrigerator never thought of using references for an approach, thanks man (or fridge)
@gabriel.n10 Lol np, I use google maps, youtube, and anything I can find via google images. It does wonders when helping with building.
I NEED A TUTORIAL PLEASEE MAN

My lazy ass could never 😔☠️
fridge when am I gonna be able to join again?
From ace
I understand it now
what are the irl cords for when you built this
1 question? Will u be making the inside of the buildings later on?
If I have enough storage, I'll build brief interiors.
@@TheOGLGRefrigerator thanks.
How did you do the street floor and sidewalks? I'm trying to make my own shibuya and I'm having trouble making the street btw great videos 👍
@DarrellVH Are you talking about the markings on the pavement or the street itself?
@TheOGLGRefrigerator Like how did you curve the edges and did you make the sidewalk and road first and then make the buildings on top?

About to release a progress video, I think we're at 1.4/4
Yooo, you in gammas discord server, right?
ofc
@@TheOGLGRefrigerator you sent images of this build in gammas server
Did you make a video on it after or before sending the images in the server?
@@Skibiditoiletrizzyn0 After, I only started making videos like, a week ago, and I've been trying to work on Shibuya during any free time I have.
