Oh man what an awesome vlog in the Smoak shop…don’t own a Harley, but just love the shop time and you always pick up so many tips that you can apply to your projects.👌What can l say but thanks so much👍
Thanks! This is actually a regular Harley. It's essentially a touring frame with the dual rear-end bolted where a sub-frame usually mounts. Softails and Sportsters use a wire harness caddy as well, just different shapes for the different frames... Thanks Mark!! 👍
Captured bolts. When I used to do network cabling, when we went through conduit, they make special lube to put on the cables that makes pulling then through conduit easier. I wonder if it would help here?
Glad you got Flirty done. I know the results will be well received. Sorry about your weather. The only difference in our weather was ours was dry. Not much sun. Stay safe and maybe we get to try out new grips tomorrow 😎
Good on you for installing those grips! I just used mine on the Spyder this last weekend, but just for a bit. Dang, they get hot even on low! It will have to get a lot colder before I can see ever using high! Be safe, you two..!
Why did you have to splice wire onto the harness? I’m about to install heated grips on a 2023 freewheeler I’m trying to figure the wiring out. Thank you
Waited but absolutely worth the wait. Can’t miss a day of your vlogs.
Nothing like some heated grips!! 🔥🔥

Good job Shawn. That should get you an atta boy.................Cheers!
As always a nice job. They, Harley, really made it easier with the trough. Well I hope Sunday turned out nice and you got a ride in.
You make it look too easy! I hope your weather was good enough today for Momma to get out and put it to the test! Peace and love.
Great video!
I'm struggling to wire mine.. Haven't found a video that shows a close up of the connections.
You got surgical fishing them wires, good job. Good stuff Smoak's!
I use ky over Vaseline or lube on tougher bars because it dries out better and doesn’t leave a mess
Good job Shawn. I wonder where they pack all the wiring on a regular Harley. Thanks guys
