The most amazing genius on this planet! His melodies are unsurpassable and his perfect orchestration is other worldly! Love you for what you have done for humankind, Mozart!!
@christinelloyd8775 Hello, Christine: You wrote one year ago about Mozart's greatness. (:Marriage of Figaro - Dove sono), and I just wanted to tell you how totally I agree with you! He was a gift to humanity that keeps on shining brightly and his music touches one's soul so deeply! Best regards to you!
The juxtaposition of this aria immediately after the happy wedding scene is one of the most poignant and jarring achievements of all opera. I'll never forget hearing this for the first time and hearing it live.
Каждая работа Доротеи -- это ожидания нового шедевра. Красивый , наполненый голос, абсолютное понимание внутреннего состояния героинь их чувств !Восторг!!!❤❤❤
Greatest Artistic Genius this Earth has seen so far. Perfect genius and greatest taste. The genius of taste. Balance, clarity, transparency, economy of means: the man was unique.

Each time I watch this, makes me speechless. Such a beautiful scene. But I would be more carefull with ornamentation melodies in Mozart operas. Somehow his melodies are complete...but still... very powerfull emotional scene. ;)
Roschmann is a true musician .Long phrases in the beginning exquistely sung each syllable definite she added a grace note too .This gown is an 1830's thing definitely not 18th century .I imagine most people would recognize that. What production is this ? A very full soprano not the perfect Mozart voice like Anna Moffo !
i normally like her - and I hate putting bad comments (if you do not habe sometng good to say... ) but, biting my tongue dos not help me - this aria is not opened to adding thrills, odd screams, or for little transpositions -- the opening vibrato is just stammeringly wobbly, which i stopped listening there

Her emotional performance gave me chills. So beautiful!
Dazzling clarity of tone and emotional connection. Dorothea Röschmann is world-class

Absolutely wonderful performance !!!!
Simply wonderful. It is a great artist and a very elegant lady.
Just watched this masterpiece last night. If you can afford to, go see it. Best money I’ve spent.
One of my favourite arias, beautiful!
謝謝!
She is more than the countess, she is the Queen, the Queen of Mozart.
Volker Piefke the Queen of Mozart title belongs to Edda Moser, but Dorothea's lyric Mozart is some of the best there ever was.
I agree with you!
It's about time for detronization. Edda had an incedible coloratura voice. The voice that cuts the air like a knife.
divine.
Mozart.Everything makes sense 🍷

You said it perfectly. I love his approach to his art as much as I love the music itself.
Una gran cantante, una de las grandes. Su Pamina es la más extraordinaria versión que he escuchado en mi vida. Gracias Dorothea, gracias Mozart.
thank you ROH for providing subtitles so that I can introduce this aria to my wife. This is so important.
i realize it is kind of off topic but does anybody know a good site to watch new tv shows online ?
@Bowen Antonio Flixportal :D
@Moses Kendrick Thank you, I went there and it seems like a nice service =) Appreciate it!
@Bowen Antonio You are welcome :D

Conmovedoramente MAGNÍFICA
Bravo Dorothea!
Just wow!
Most inspiring.
260120 the 28 people who did not like this ... what the hell is wrong with you ... this is 1ST class
Very good performance, but certainly not 1st class.
Ok 😞
Wunderschön.
superb!
Bravoooo 👏
Lei ha interpretato quest'aria in modo così bello
So beautiful and moving! Bravissississima!!
my best dove sono
Eine wunderbare Gräfin, der ich auch viele weitere, schöne Erlebnisse verdanke, z.B. die Elisabeth im Tannhäuser - eine herausragende Sängerin

For me she is the deeply sad countess
Brava

+Stanisław Olejniczak Roschmann is never careful ;-) I mean that in a good way.
I agree. Sometimes embellishment is not needed...especially with Mozart.
@@jcs1025 I personally don't like ornamentation with Mozart's music, but it was traditional practise in Mozart's time.
Wooow

4:20 If you can't trill, don't do the trill. But don't try to fake it.
Wow she looks like Emma Stone 😂
Ma quanto urla questa?

Goodbye then and don't come back
Akio Yokoyama totally agreed!! Too much throat tension omg
YOU`RE RIGHT.
I agree, and she’s too loud and not sensitive enough. I much prefer Renee Fleming in that role and of course Schwarzkopf a long time ago.
And of course the wonderful Dame Kiri.
Sounds so nasal...
And that's all you got ( nasal ) .... shame on you
