Would that I had his timbre, breath control, portamenti, sfumature di labbre, but alas. It makes me feel like an artist just to listen to his singing, the most beautiful version of the aria I've ever heard!
Wow, I hear this aria ton of times, it ends here! Totally sold. This is so much overflowing with poetic hesitation, slower tempo, and fire of passion underneath sublime face. There is 0 force nor any shouting...What a class of highest artistry!
I recently watched an opera competition streamed from Europe and while it was wonderful to see young new talent pursuing a career in opera, I was ecstatic to see Francisco Araiza was one of the judges. To say that I adore that man is an understatement! A voice of pure gold.
Araiza used to be my absolute idol years ago. I've discovered other tenors but he still remains there in my podium... Great way of singing and performing whatever he sings, and such a so beautiful voice...
Sublime! Dying in a bed would be easier and even a highly spiritual experience listening to this aria! I would die happy! Thank you Mozart, thank you maestro Araiza!
I dont mean to be offtopic but does someone know a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost the account password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Alaric Colten thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Fritz Wunderlich, Michael Spyres, and Franz Krauss were my favourites for this aria, but this rendition is now in my top 4 :) Thank you -so sweet....play it at my funeral to honour my dear mother and my wife.
I thank the heavens that Araiza became a Mozart tenor and not a Rossini or Bel Canto tenor. Araiza's solid, thick voice is a welcome addition to the numerous interpretations of Mozart (which usually consist of light singers).
Ok, I know this comment is really old but Huh?? He did sing a lot of Rossini roles and very well by the way. I would say thanks the heavens he sang Rossini. Best Ramiro and Almaviva I have ever heard.
Araiza is just as much a Rossini tenor as he is a Mozart tenor. His Si Ritrovarla from Cenerentola is considered by many to be the absolute best! You're right to praise his Mozart though...none can top his Ferrando and Don Ottavio!

Orgullosamente mexicano. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽

Nobody, not even Wunderlich, has sung it better than Araiza. Wonderful.
Léopld Simoneau! Monsieur Mozart!
Schreier!

Magistral interpretación, de Fco. Araiza, de esta magnifica Aria.
Excellent! Amazing! Bravissimo!
How can there be 10 thumbs down for the best version ever in history ?
My very favorite version of the aria--thanks so much for uploading.
This is the sound of heaven. The voice of the soul.
una de las mejores interpretaciones
Best performance of all! Bravissimo !!!!!

The best version of the Aria.
I think Araiza is second to none in his fach, Wunderlich included.
Just Lovely.
Very nice indeed.
Perfect!
Prestazione epica ! Complimenti.
Beautifully done, Bravo!!!
FERRANDO
Un'aura amorosa
Del nostro tesoro
Un dolce ristoro
Al cor porgerà;
Al cor che, nudrito
Da speme, da amore,
Di un'esca migliore
Bisogno non ha

Just sublime - the 4th tenor ?
In this aria he is simply the 1st !
Why do you hear a mouth full of “broken glass”?!
Where are the bottom notes?!
Where ???!
This is a glass voice - WITHOUT EMOTIONS.
