The processors could contains more cores, its doesn'tt mean i3 have only 2 core capabilities.. it may also comes with quad or octa core. Core defines their clock speed if they increase the core than also it become faster and also increase processor clock speed. But it will not get to strength like i5 or i7.
I3 12 the gen can beat i5 11th gen how this is possible
