We did a sticker chart which i didnt think my son would be into but he was. He got a sticker for sitting & trying to go potty, whether or not anything came out. I also didn't set a timer or make him go every X minutes like some people do. Instead I had him go during natural transitions which was before/after meals, naps, new activity, outings, etc. That makes it very easy for them to predict when its time to try. We did undies during the day and pull-ups for bedtime and were very deliberate about calling them 'pull ups' and specifying that theyre for bed time only, and not calling them diapers. Good luck!

I’ll be trying these. I thought about doing the sticker chart but was unsure if he’d like it but now I’m just going to go ahead and try it. Underwear during the day is something I’m about to start trying as well. Thank you so much for the tips!❤️
The struggle is real over here 😂

@@danimari9561 the struggle is real! The biggest thing is to be consistent. If he has an accident (which he will), dont make a huge thing out of it--you dont want him gettimg anxious about the potty or having even more accidents to see your response. You got this!

My son is 3 now and he’s fully potty trained but the little potty worked the best! You also get to see how much he’s going and my sons pre school has the little potty as well. Buying underwear was the best decision because they end up depending on pull ups. For bed time I just stopped giving my son drinks 2 hrs before bed. Also they potty train on their own time, not when we want! Super frustrating lol

Yeh you’re right! I’ll probably end up trying the tiny potty because his daycare has one too. Thank you so much for the tips ❤️

Girl I feel you! I tried potty training my son at 20 months and it didn’t go well. We tried the “Oh Crap” method (if you haven’t heard of it there’s tons of videos on YT). There were tons of accidents and I gave up on day 2 because I also have a newborn. We are trying again when he turns 2 in October. Please keep us posted on how it goes with Carter! Any tips would be appreciated.
