Unfortunately, the message of this MV is not to appreciate your mother or something like. The mother in the MV bought a new purple backpack, which her daughter wanted to buy when her daughter was still alive but didn't have, and packed a lunch and brought it to a seawall. You know, this is a true story that happened last year. The reason why this MV doesn't show the daughter's death after the accident is because the mother doesn't get back her daughter's body yet. The total number of the victims is 295 (246 are students and the most of the rest are adults), 9 people are still missing including 4 students and 1 kid). The accident in the MV occurred in a school-trip bus while the real story did in a ferry, called Sewol. So the mother brought the lunch to a seawall for her daughter who is still in the cold and deep sea.

Thank you for your MV reaction. This story based on Sewol Ferry accident in Korea (South), on April 16th 2014 (morning). About 300 high school students and other passangers were dead caused by sinking in the sea. Mon was at concrete-break water and sent last gifts for her doughter near last sceen.
it is real story. not only music video's stoty2years a go, 247 students died by accdent during school tripstudents couldnt escape from very big ship what is sinking to bottom of seaand we couldnt save them ㅜㅜi have feel sorry & almost korean have feel sorry.
It was made worse because they were all told to stay in their cabins and not go on deck ..that's why most of them couldn't escape and as an ex seaman myself i`m ashamed to say the captain and crew abandoned ship and just left them(and most are now in prison convicted of murder)

언제봐도 슬프네요....저도 세월호사건이 일어났을때 고등학교 1학년이였고 심지어 가까운 학교는 아니였지만 같은 지역에 있는 고등학교에서 일어난 안타까운 사고라...더 공감대가 느껴져서....

이 노래의 뮤직비디오는 실제 사건을 다루었다고 볼 수 있습니다. 한국의 고등학생들이 배를 타고 수학 여행을 갔을때 배가 침몰하는 사건이 있었는데 그때 선장이 구조는 하지 않고 승무원들은 대피하여 많은 학생들이 죽는 사건이 있었습니다. 그 사건과 비슷하게 뮤직 비디오가 나왔는데.. 당시 정부가 이 뮤직비디오를 방송이 되지 않게 막았습니다. 현재는 그 대통령은 감옥에 가 있죠.. 큰 사건이었습니다.
