I'm reminded of Chris Rock's joke "If you see a neighborhood where women are out jogging, chatting over a fence with neighbors, smoking on the porch, you're in a good neighborhood. If you are in a neighborhood where men are out, not working, you're in a bad neighborhood."
That is the day to day in Trenton now... 30 - 40 years ago you would have saw a lot of people outside having fun talking ,laughing and enjoying themselves.. Trenton had a lot of neighborhood bars and restaurants and those neighborhoods were a whole lot better.. Now it unrecognizable .. A very dangerous place at times..
the tour finally came around to the Eisenhower/Hoffman Ave projects (Wilson and Haverstick Homes) and the place looks pretty much like it did 70 years ago ... can't say much for the rest of the city though ... I guess most of the money was sucked up by DEVELOPERS tearing down structures like THS and the Stacy Trent and then RE-building rather than putting it into homes for PEOPLE... - JN
The outside looks clean. Where is the rest of the money going to? It appears as if only a partial amount is being spent on areas such as this. 🧐Maybe it’s just me 🤨.
Having glimpsed the four most prominent urban satellites of Philadelphia (Camden, Chester, Trenton and Wilmington) my vote for the roughest looking place that I have ever seen is Camden. That is one seriously unpleasant community.
Trenton is a very dangerous place .. Noticed it wasn't anyone outside... At 7:48 if he would have made a right instead of a left he would have road pass my house ...
@@ghettomerica east Trenton is the better part of the city but you didn’t cross into that side at any point in the video? You might as well just label the video “driving in the hood” because that’s all you did 🙄
At this point, if you’re not from Trenton and have no reason to go into trenton then stay out of Trenton. There is no “good part” Downtown closes up after 5pm on the weekdays. West Trenton and East Trenton usually has a lot of tension. South Trenton ; your not safe in Chambersburg. Not safe Up Top and DEFFF not safe Down Bottom after dark. North Trenton is too ran down and unless u wanna get jammed up or ran up, trust… Trenton is not a regular “hood” we have more murders per sq mile than Philly. And as much as I wanna say “its safe”, its not.
Yeah if u not from here don’t come here we have nothing tourist don’t come here no more they go up to Princeton and places like that My city is unforgiving and only the strong survive here Gotta be Trenton strong ya heard

Truth! Thanks for watching!
Their neighborhoods are bad because Caucasian did that to them intentionally because they are descendants of slaves.
My hometown! Now I live in Georgia. Haven't been back to Trenton since 09.
I really like being able to see cities in America.
thank you for being invited to enjoy the city of Trenton, New Jersey, best wishes.
Our pleasure and Thanks for watching! Appreciate you being here.
Such beautiful homes I will say. I love historic American urban homes so much
Can you please 🙏 show the day to day interaction between people in those neighborhoods, like interviewing them and so forth. Am from South Africa 🇿🇦
Yes we will be incorporating those sorts of interactions in as channel grows. Always good to hear from those living there. Thank you for watching.

The garden apartments with fences are pristine. No litter at all. How is this accomplished? Outside of those fences things look pretty bad.

Trenton was nice many decades ago!
Yup, you used to be able to walk the streets safely day or night. Not anymore. They may find your body. 🤨

Camden is definitely a rough place. Will be doing videos in all those cities shortly. Please Stand by and thank you for watching.
@@ghettomerica all good..be safe out there mi amigo
Camden is damn near a third world country
so realistically most of the neighborhoods that are filmed were always bad ... the only change since the 80s was the Burg is now unrecognizable.

IM WATCHING THIS VIDEO FRIDAY MARCH 8 2024 AND MARCH 8 2023 IT WAS RELEASED❤🥰❤🥰
I lived in the Donnelly Homes.

Agreed. Not a good quiet but an eerie quiet. Trenton gets it it in. Thanks for watching
I just moved from there
I hope things get better for Trenton 🙏
The town
Onde estão as pessoas? Trabalhando? Ou está muito frio?
Probably both. One of those quieter days. We will go back during the summer when things are more active. Thanks for watching
which area is good?
Good question. Probably downtown based on what was seen driving through. What do you think? Thanks for watching.

I didn’t know there is a good side of Trenton
Salute
i grew up here man👍🏿
Word! I feel you!
AKA The projects?
I lived in those projects.
Most of NJ has gone way downhill. No law enforcement.
Why?
They were forced to lay off most of the Police Force in Trenton. No tax base.
Trenton has been going down hill since the 70s
it's over.
Depressing.
