Duude I tried your method just yesterday and got a small mixing gig, I was kinda broke at that time and I got enough money to visit my gf before exams, big help yooo

Every single producer here in this chat I hope you become successful in 2022! At the end of the year you will see the result of your daily efforts, even when you have to grind a lot before you get to see any of it
Thanks for the SoundCloud sauce btw it helped me quite a lot.. subbed to your channel and started watching all your videos cause they're really helpful...
I used to strive to be a musician frfr, making my own beats, lyrics, videos, all that. But after realizing how much work it is to do it all by yourself, I think it would be best to be a producer alone. And this video helped me a lot in finding a direction with my beats. Thank you so much 🙏🏼
I gave up on beat making last year because I saw no progress with my sales or interest but after some research I was going at it all wrong. This year I'm going go try to go hard and improve my beats and dropping one as much as I can. Wish me luck
Solid advice here. I also would suggest getting with an artist that you believe in, and working closely with them. That's how I got into the sub genre I'm in - and I only sell exclusives now. Good luck to all the hard workers out there.
oh my goodness, someones who actually gives valuable info instead of saying “just sent a shit ton of beats out and keep grinding” first video i see from you and you got my sub bro
Wow this was extremely helpful! Been making music on and off for 8 years and never released any of my music. I need to get back on the grind and try out your methods! Get yourself out there!!! I know I’m working on that myself.
Thanks for these tips, bro. Honestly have a hard time with the whole "start by creating an audience" thing and turned me off to selling any beats, kits, or anything like that, but maybe this method could help out my situation. Appreciate it man.
This is awesome. Very informative and useful. It’s all this admin work that made me quit producing tho. Music was my escape from the grind and finding all of this out basically killed it for me. Hope everyone wins!
dont let it discourage you from building you skills. its off putting but you set your own schedule since youre the boss. rome wasn’t built in a day bro 💪🏿
And that’s totally fine just know you can do anything you set your mind to. Stress will meet you in any profession, so do something that’s worth the grind
Ya, I know. You’re all right and usually are the majority of the time. Here’s what I’ve found out on 10 years and as a Berklee Alum……..The way you start is the way you should stay but of course it’s not how it works. We have to go fuck around and find out , right?! I started with the worst of everything, thinking I needed the best of everything and that’s not it. I had to let shit come full circle, again and I have found that the type of mixer you have or what kind of MIDI controller you use or how many sound panels or fuckass LED lights you have even though they are dope as shit…….I’ve quit 4 times since the last time I posted that and I know I’ll never give this shit up
I’ve always loved music like A LOT, and have had a growing appreciation of it and various genres. Usually stick to video editing, but lately been thinking of getting into making beats as a hobby, so this is good info thx
Yo I just found your channel a couple months ago and I made my first 3 sales this past month! I really appreciate you sharing your experience with everyone
thank you for this bro! going to give it a shot after making music for 10+ years ive decided to try to make it a career. appreciate you this is huge advice
Much love bro! Been slacking on putting my stuff out there. but today I submitted my first track for distribution on Amuse. Since I’ve started producing I was just posting on SoundCloud and promoting on social media. I came across your video and it gave me some great advise. I hope I can redo this comment in the future and tell you how great I’m doing. Thanks man forreal 👊🏼
You just got a new subscriber, thank you for this easy to follow information. I been producing for a year and ready to get my beats out there. Will be trying these methods for sure. Thank you
I was completely aware of all of these options, not so much sliding into DMs (thank u for that tip btw it's gonna work for sure), but it for some reason this video made it click that once these systems are set up you can see how the cash flow adds up to something that you can live off of. im commenting from a Roblox channel (lol) but I got hella beats I've been sitting on and wanted to put out. this vid is a great short summary of what looks like tried and true methods to get paid for selling your music, hopefully others can also take action and make their passion their income 🤝
look on youtube for tutorials gang and dont rush the process. trust me. its very possible to sell your first beats in the first few months. i personally sold my first beat from youtube 2 months after i started because i put in 18 hours a day literally making beats and learning on youtube. figure out who is your favorite artist and act like youre making beats for them. recreate your favorite songs to learn how to make melodies. you will find out most producers use only 2-4 sounds in their melodies. learn music before anything. it took me 1 week to teach myself. after u learn that youll notice you making melodies in 5 minutes compared to hours. then use loops so you can focus drum bounce. with great drums u dont have a good beat. then watch how fast your progress will get. i only been making beats for 1 1/2 now. i just sold a beat $550 3 days ago.. i say all this to tell u dont give up. even when nobody gives u views. that just means u gotta keep workin bro. if i wouldve stopped i wouldnt see the results im seeing now. trust me and trust the process gang hope this kinda helped u out g. dont give up
Yo bro this was a really insightful video, appreciate you sharing these tips. Out of interest, when you hit up artists using that sound cloud method saying you got beats for them, are you charging them or giving the first lot for free with the hope they come back an make future purchases?
claiming this energy bro, i ain't got many subs and i know why i only got few but i appreciate them alot alrdy, i honestly thought of earning money than enjoying what i love and it made me realize that i should focus more on improving, overall, thanks for this video man!

@2:24 dosent matter, ive seen channels with less than 300 subs rank on a central cee type beat, only thing youtube care for is watch time... if people watch it and like it they will push it 2 a larger audience, the keywords are also not that important, title and thumbnail and consintency is what matters
I messaged an artist to sell beats and started the message with "Hey, love your work..." and he replied "you dont love my work you just want to sell your stuff". Well... mission failed I guess.
Bro wtf this is amazing. The other videos i’ve watched basically say to beg someone to buy your beat. I’ve never understood how someone can sit there and try to sell themselves over and over. This seems like you have it down pretty well
For a producer that has a solid grasp on the house scene, this is great advice for getting into selling beats as well as I've been looking into recently, great tips!
At what point did you realize that you were good enough to make a TH-cam channel? Do you synthesize the drums that you sell? When making a beat do you master it? And how many bars is considered a sufficient beat?
I’ve seen a bunch of Reddit threads about people having their beats stolen by rappers right off of TH-cam. Their only recourse is obsessively filing copyright claims over and over when they’re posted/reposted. Isn’t this a real concern when putting your tracks on YT?
Bruh I tried sync licensing, dming music supervisors for my beats and selling my beats. Nothing worked so I gave up on it and started a music career, using my own beats my own production, mixing mastering whatever... Been making songs for 5 or 6 months going to release my debut album next month, not making a lot of money but at least I'm not making beats that sell nothing
