I was worried about ISU they have a great defense as always and basically shut off our run game. Thankfully Bean played his most consistent game of the year…those refs were horrible terrible calls and no calls on both teams!

That pick6 was impressive. The ensuing kickoff return was impressive. The touchdown-saving tackle on the 1 yardline was impressive. But then they get ZERO points from the First and Goal from the 1 ??
If you are talking about Iowa St 1st and Goal from the one following the big kick off return, that was called back. I didn’t hear the rationale but I assume they ruled he stepped out of bounds during his return.
@@Alex-zg9wf If they didn't want ISU to win, then why were they holding their whistle when ISU was interfering downfield all game long. That PI against Grimm alone was a 6 point swing. If he isn't held there, that's a TD. Then another where he was hit early by two different defenders, and another one that would have been a drive extending play. Grimm alone was interfered with 3 times on crucial downs. Regardless, KU had more yards, more yards per play, and won the game. Nothing is changing that. The only reason it got close at the end is because KU was up 3 scores and Leipold did his usual thing and went conservative. Surprisingly KU did continue throwing the ball somewhat(probably because ISU was selling out everything to stop the run), but defensively KU quit being aggressive and gave the ISU receivers a 5 yard cushion, where as in the first half KU was blitzing and the DBs were playing the ISU receivers tight. ISU converted multiple 3rd and longs in the 2nd half, because KU refused to blitz. I love Leipold, but this is his weakness. He's had too many games where we've been up 3 scores and barely held on for a 1 score win because he decides he wants to eat clock and force long drives by the opponent. He doesn't care if they score, so long as they take 7+ minutes to do it. One of these days it's going to cost KU a game.

It’s been 15 years since Kansas football team had a winning season. Kansas have been recruit some great amount of players who are talented enough to go pro. I hope they will keep this up.
Credit to Kansas playing well yesterday and all season so far. Discredit to the refs who need to get their vision checked. Normally, I think we get a pretty fair game from the refs, no complaints. Last night was garbage. These refs should not be officiating D1.
@Collin_D I was too. I was sitting on the grass directly down the line from where he was running. He was not out of bounds. Awful call just like several others. The one at the half deemed a fumble was so obvious a blind man could have called it better.
@@romeda5156 Well, it took a 62 yard field goal in the rain for Mizzou to beat KState at home, and Mizzou seems to be winning games in the SEC. I don't think it's as dominant as you think. At the top, sure, but not the rest of the conference. There are a lot of teams in the SEC that are indeed talented, but just aren't good teams.
Seems like a good time to mention the Legacy 8 Big 12 is 30-30 against SEC teams not named Alabama or Georgia, in its last 60 games, and that Texas Tech beat Ole Miss 34-7 in the Liberty Bowl last year.
Kansas now 7-2 on the season this team has been improving every week and every game
And tbh, Kansas could have and should have beaten Oklahoma State in Stillwater. Kansas should be 8-1 and 5-1 in conference.
