  • As you guys can see, I caught as many trucks as I got. And of course, the firemen of the Cincinnati Fire Department Engine 21 went to the wrong location with the PD and thought that I was the caller as they asked me before hopping out of the pumper. But after 2 minutes of me explaining to the members, they found out that they did go to the wrong direction. It's not a fiasco, but just a learning process and a technical misunderstanding. I shouldn't have done that sometimes, but they were heading to a different place on Queen City Avenue, I was location like I'm always at. And you guys heard me say "ow my ears" to the fire trucks, especially Engine 21, that engine is not in good shape because it's 12 years old during usages within the air horns. It's not fouled, but the air horns are in bad shape. I do like that engine so much, but it's just the thing that I didn't expect them to be that loud, even with my earplugs on. I do that all the time when I make videos just like that. So I hope you guys enjoy this video!

Interesting video. That was a great catch of that "rare" Rumpke mini rear loader garbage truck at 3:38. You also got video of a Rumpke conventional "McNeilus" rear loader garbage truck at 6:38. I'm pointing out Rumpke because that company is as old as the hills in the Cincinnati Tri-State Area. Rumpke garbage collection began in the early-1930's, is EXTREMELY successful and I must say that anybody who could start a successful business in the midst of the Great Depression deserves a medal! Just to show you just how far back that company (Rumpke) goes, when my newly-married parents built their new home in Delhi Township in 1951, the first person who rang their front door bell was the Rumpke guy asking my parents if they wanted to sign up for garbage collection. That was 70 years ago! Rumpke was using large dark green "long" dump trucks to collect garbage. There is an archive B/W photo of those green dump trucks on the Rumpke website. Finally, the MACK "C&G Trucking LLC" dump truck from West Harrison, Indiana was also a VERY INTERESTING rare video catch! I didn't mean to be so lengthy with this 'Comment', but this is a good video! --- John

Thanks for watching! Yeah Rumpke worked so hard on using their trucks and they never been able to get rid of them at the same time, including in Cincinnati. Rumpke is a fine garbage company. I've been catching so many of their trucks and they are still amazing.
