I did for about 2 years yes, no problems apart from weak gearboxes - since I fitted the dog box there were no issues at all. It was built right and it was built to be used daily, so I didn't skimp on parts. All steel bottom end, EN40b crank, arrow rods, cosworth pistons, titanium flywheel etc etc.
This particular engine was pretty much no expense spared, all steel, arrow rods, cosworth pistons, titanium flywheel etc etc so it was over 10k in parts. You could build one on a smaller budget though.

remember seeing this one at an action day at combe, isn't it your brothers one with the slot cut in the bonnet for the cam gear? very nice anyways, if i ever get a spare 15K i know where its going =P
