No other watch channel comes anywhere even close to SWG and Marco. He shows an incredible amount of high end watches that are MILES BEYOND other "luxury " brands. He knows there is so much more out there then the same old pos watches all these other channels seem to just want showis and talk about. They all seem to think all that's out there is the same 7 watches its a joke and it's honestly very sad. Marco thank you for everything you do
Absolutely game changing, I'm in two minds, he absolutely deserves to patent this, however if he doesn't other brands could learn something from this. Regardless this is incredible.
@@Dr3v0 that is of course a double edged sword though, the idea of this sort of power reserve becoming the standard would be fantastic which couldn't happen if they patented it, but of course they're well within their rights to do so. For example George Daniels allowed other brands to use the coaxial escapement even though he could have technically patented it and kept it to himself and Roger W Smith
It's not something so unique that other brands can't do, it's just too redundant for the other brands to do. And far from game changing, this is stupid and an obsolete feature as automatic watches essentially have an unlimited power reserve.
I would really love to see him do a watch that is like the Hebdomas with an engraved balance bridge on the dial and 80hrs power reserve. Totally understand coming out of the gate with the horological big guns, I'd just like to see something more people (I mean me) could afford - but which is beautiful.
It still wouldn't be affordable. There's no reason this is as expensive as it is, same with any mechanical watch... not like making a spring longer adds a ton of production costs. So a lesser power reserve wouldn't save much money... not to mention these things are priced at pretty much random, they charge what they think they can get. They're Veblen goods.
the balance amplitude seems very low... Cmiiwp... 🧐🧐is that one of the techniques to get 1000 hours of power reserve, beside the 3meter long main spring...?
It's pretty but I'm not so sure with the design of the knurled bezel, I think it'll far better if it has a concave bezel with knurling on the side like a diving bezel.
Hublot beats it with constant whooping 1200 hours power reserve (50 days), and Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Twin Beat when slowed down can provide 65 days of power reserve, which is technically cheating to be honest. Still 1000 impressive hours is in top 5 in the world. Congrats. This dude should look into how to make quality watches more affordable, coz as a fellow engineer saving customer's money was a part of my job.
Many brands like Baume and Mercier and Oris make watches with a 120 hour power reserve. That is already pretty impressive. While this watch is really nice most people won't be able to afford it. Anything with a 1000 hour power reserve is probably going to be a six figure watch.
They should consider to sell this to other manufacturers to scale this. How cool would that be if mechanical watch have also a power reserve over a month? Better the apple watch with 1-2 days every automatic watch beats.
The Bulgari Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Automatic has the same type of mechanism for switching between setting and winding. This was done because a traditional keyless works would not have worked.
Why are the Swiss turning their back to the gift of Pierre Genequand? With a regular spring they could have this much reserve, just bring his escapement into the fold? Frederique Constant with their Monolithic watches are leading the way. Frederique Constant, a Swiss watch company owned by Citizen. Why keep going for the brutish approach? Same thing with Zenith with their Defy Inventor: not caring for a second to keep it stocked, just dabbling now and then. Innovate.
Idk if the silver one is Silver, White gold or Platinum, but I think that one is the best looking of the 2. Both gorgeous pieces, but I love the black dial paired with the silver case. I think the black dial brings out a lot more detail in the movement as well. I personally feel the black dial is more classy as well yet subtle enough to be worn with jeans and a nice button down shirt. If I was able to afford $166k (in American) I'd be all over this watch which is odd for me to say because I normally don't like Tourbillon watches.
Which brands haven't we featured yet?
Mine! It doesn't exist yet. Maybe in 6-7 years.
Gronefeld
Direnzo
Ochs und Junior?
Itay Noy?
Incredible watch. It warms my heart to see this level of watchmaking continuing. I wish his company much success.
Unbelievable....what masterpiece. Thanks for bringing such unique and high quality content on your channel.
Cool stuff. Pretty awesome! Thank you for the content. Big time stuff
Love seeing innovative stuff like this

Very nice and absolutely not affordable by an average human - but proper respect on the engineering!
Insane. Beautiful.
Thank you for making these videos ! In a world full of pain, hate, despair, these vidoes help create a peaceful corner to relax the mind and enjoy.
I ALWAYS love long power reserve watches!
A 40 day power reserve 150 years ago???!!! That's absolutely wild!
Yes! Quite a bit larger than a wrist watch, but still
Absolutely game changing, I'm in two minds, he absolutely deserves to patent this, however if he doesn't other brands could learn something from this. Regardless this is incredible.
Pattent for sure

Can’t wait for more information regarding this company. Fantastic work all around!
EDIT: just saw the price nevermind 😂
Yup! No Watch is 100% Accurate. Therefore, No Watch is worth more than $500.
What a marvelous watch and story, thanks for sharing!
Beautiful! I love the story and the design is superb. Well done.
Marko! Through hard work & smarts, your channel has become very important. Keep going!
This is really fantastic and saves a lot of time not to wind every 3 to 4 days....
This is the stuff that got me into watches.
Brilliant addition to the small watchmakers lineage.
Incredible very nice piece well done bet there was many sleepless nights whist making this
Stunning work.
Stunning ❤
Nice design 👌
Wow...very impressive first edition!! Can't imagine what comes next...

I would kill it with this watch on the subway going to my daily office job.
wow..stunning... companies with multi million dollar budgets can't come up with better
I thought it was going to be alot more expensive. He's practically giving them away. I just need another $147,000.00. Beautiful watch!!
Great innovatsion watches
enorme🙌🙌
I have a Hebdomas 8 day pocketwatch. The mainspring on that thing is INSANE - over a meter long.
thanksd..excellent
Spectacular, and totally wearable.
Deserves to patent this... Go fast!
Beautiful
Although not my style, this is a very very very beautiful watch... sorry, masterpiece. Congratulations sir!
Those cheap, blue hands on such an amazing watch make it look somewhat unfinished.
Canadian? Does it come with sports swag?
Mine just arrived
the balance amplitude seems very low... Cmiiwp... 🧐🧐is that one of the techniques to get 1000 hours of power reserve, beside the 3meter long main spring...?
Amazing watch. I wish there was 1 less zero on the price but since its about a watch per month I can understand it.
Wow 👏
The dial needs more decoration, it's so flat and maybe some beautifully applied indicators.
Mükemmelsiniz
a lange söhne nin de aynı şekilde saatli var ismi 31. 31 gün gidiyoe güç rezervi . ınun yayı 4 metre olsa gerek. ancak fiyatı 100.000 dolardan fazla

Прекрасно

Thought it would be an automatic
Sexy watch but how about time keeping - linearity?
The Bulgari Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Automatic has the same type of mechanism for switching between setting and winding. This was done because a traditional keyless works would not have worked.
Makes Rolex look like a walmart brand lol....good luck to you sir... Only 12 people in the world to enjoy...wow amazing

Nice accent.

If I won the billion dollar powerball lottery, I'll buy it, otherwise, I'll stick with Eco-drive citizen.
Awesome watch but that shirt... is not it
This is an insane achievement ngl, I hope he wins a GPHG award
WOW!!!!
