For me it's clearly one of Best, with the inspiration in his older brother just confirms the full potential that ranger can have. I have to highlight this was one of Best reviews I've seen, that transparency gave a perfect idea what is all about. Very complete, absolutely superb👍
You can't buy the F150 Raptor in the UK? Sorry to hear. Next you'll probably tell me you dont have deserts. I just looked on Google earth... holy crap, I feel bad for you :( [really just trying to rub it in haha]
I agree completely how the Raptor makes you feel. Having driven one for a combined 1500 km with a few months between the drives, it is a great vehicle (you can't really call it a car ). It is playful but not fast, it makes you feel untouchable to an extent (famous last words when getting stuck in the mud). The most surprising thing I found was the faster you drive, the smoother the ride. About the driving modes, the button placement is excellent imo, the Focus ST for example has a dedicates "S" button and a drive mode button you need to press continuously to get to the mode you want, inevitably you'll go past that mode because of the lag. Putting in a scroll wheel will complicate things I think. The buttons are a faster way to change modes and it doesn't require a lot of change to the cabin (the centre console in particular). In sum, the Raptor is a vehicle you need to experience to fully understand, because the numbers really mean nothing until you've had a go behind the wheel. The torque is the main figure in the spec sheet though, if only the gearbox could make up its mind at times. If it was strapped to a V8 it would make much more sense. I just love this machine!
I agree 100%. I drive the Ranger Raptor since August 2019 and i still enjoy each and every drive i make. No matter driving on highways, innercity or country roads, it is pure fun. For me by far the best and most entertaining car/truck i have ever owned or driven!
Sometimes I wish I could take reporters like this into my backyard so they would know what an offroad track looks like. That 4wd test track was no more challenging than a common rural driveway.
They fix that in bi turbo diesel last year. In 2.3 Motors is conect with 3 and 4 cylinder issiue i thing. In mijn RR 2.0 bi turbo nothing happends with engine but with the diesel pomp. They fix that last week and the rest of issiues and its great car again. I love it when is good working. Have 60000 km. Great car.
Are there some owners here that can speak about reliability? I was considering buying one but started looking after common issues. I found many topics about injector fail, oil pump fail, and-blue system fail, gearbox fail,... And most of the time bad Ford service to resolve the problem. Not very convinced anymore.
No they didn't. I Pay extra 500euro for frame coating fluid becouse of ruisting frame after 6 months use. For the rest stering weel and gearbox issiues. Now everything is fixt. its a great car . I love it again.
Its an off road truck, you are expecting way too much of it on road i think. Try the hilux, 0-60 in well make a sandwich. But trucks aren't meant to be a fast, sharp handling thing on the road.
Is there a better off-road car available in the UK today?

That opening shot, back through the cabin 👌
The way the Ranger Raptor soaks up rough ground is amazing.

This guy took a cool truck and when he talked he sound like the least cool person. I feel like this man is an energy vampire
I wish we got that engine here in the states. We get the 2.3 Ecoboost out of the Focus RS but I think I’d prefer a truck engine in a truck.
Allegedly the current & prior model shapes not known for class leading reliability. Happy to see any evidence to the contrary.
Every time he says massive take a shot.
Oh god, no, we'd die.
Is it true that the injectors fail prematurely or is it just people saying bad things about it?

@@michakool7879 hey I want to buy a Raptor I live in Botswana. Is there any issues I should expect ? And what is the story about the rust ?
@@michakool7879 I am using going to use it for daily road driving.
I fell asleep watching this
I wonder how much it would cost to import one of these to Canada

Have they fixed the rust issues on those South African built Rangers yet?

Is this Harry's garage son?
Had this car. Sold it and bought a Jeep gladiator. Best decision ever. This raptor is over rated and that 10 speed auto is a bucket of dirt

If you want acceleration buy a sport car, this is a off road vehicle duh
Wow 😳 bore-fest !!!!
That 10 speed auto is more than questionable.failed gm-ford project
Snoooze...
You have no idea of the raptor driveing experience and driving
Worst review ever seen. Its a pickup truck for Gods sake, not a Corolla.
Awful presentation, your sarcastic demeanour just comes off as annoying.
You obviously don't have a clue how to drive it
200bhp piece of cr@pt
Cant wait to buy this peice of crap.
Shut up you mug punter
