In this episode we finish Seattle Day 3 with The Confrontation, then we move on to The Farm, Santa Barbara, and finally the Epilogue.

Just finished this game a few days ago, and I have to say that both games are some of the best story driven games I have ever played.
Excellent work by Naughty Dog and I can't wait for season two of the TV show.
There is really nothing else out there like the story of The Last of Us. It's worth experiencing for anybody!
I'm excited to see where they go for season 2!
I loved this game but it's hard as hell it constantly plays with your emotions like a rolling coster but I love games that make me FEEL

one of my favourite games I've ever played.
There are very few games that can compete with the incredible story-telling and character development in this game!
I wish they would have showed it more how unhappy ellie was at the farm. yeah, she has that whole PTSD moment where a simple sound triggers her trauma of joel’s murder, but it’s pointed out in her journal that these flashes of joel dying is constant. she’s dealing with hallucinations, flashes of joel’s dead body, trauma of the amount of violence being afflicted on him before his death, survivors guilt, not being able to save joel and just guilt in general that she has wasted so much time being mad at him instead of forgiving him. I couldn’t imagine dealing with all of these, so idk why so many people are suprised that ellie left dina. joel was ripped away from her right before she wanted to try to forgive him and she couldn’t live with that, so she felt like the only way to give herself closure and to end her suffering is to finish off abby.
I even read that she was feeling suicidal at the farm, so by going after abby, she also hoped that she would die looking for/fighting abby, which explains why she still pushes to find her even when she’s badly injured.

Your explanation for why Ellie chose to leave the farm and chase Abby is really good. It's hard to accept that she made that choice because it was heartbreaking to see Ellie lose the last few people she had in her life. But by leaving, by finding Abby and choosing to let her go, she got proper closure. Even though she lost so much, hopefully she can finally start healing now.
It's a difficult game to experience, but the story makes you feel so much that it's worth experiencing. Thanks for experiencing it with me ❤
I absolutely loved this game! Brilliant storytelling, amazing graphics and wicked fun to play with the new mechanics! If people would just wait and play the whole game, I believe most people would understand the messages the writers are trying to tell. But no, they jump on social media after two hours and spam the crap outta it💩💩🤷♂
The only thing I wished they would have tweaked was the god awful weapon menu that they kept from the original. It truly was frustrating having to navigate it when they only provide you with 3 bullets in one weapon and 2 in another. 😬

Exactly haha, you really should not vocally judge the story of a game that you haven't fully played!
Ooof yea there are a few parts of the gameplay that weren't my favourite, but the story more than made up for that!
Oh and yes, I still think there should be a button to turn off dog enemies. But also, we would have had to kill that one dog either way as part of the story... 💔

And so the day that never comes finally arrives... Mega gratz on beating such an emotionally damaging game! It's definitely one of the most polarizing games that we've had in a long time in terms of being of such good quality yet having dissonance over a lot of its choices. And I 100% agree, there are some reasons that are just so dumb to hold against this versus the sum of its parts. This game made me personally learn for the first time about our social divide within the gaming community, and it really makes me appreciate how this brought a lot of conversations to the forefront. I was one of the people that enjoyed it for what it was and I really don't have anything to say against it given how riveting and harrowing it ultimately becomes. Of course, I totally get why people wouldn't like this entry if they disagreed on some of the more concrete elements like its story.
Of all the things I wanted to ask you now that you're here Amanda, I'll only ask one thing since I don't want to overwhelm you with so much. Given that this game was released during the height of the pandemic, do you believe the pandemic itself fueled much of the divisiveness this game garnered at the time? Rest well and hopefully you were able to cleanse that palate!
It's a difficult game to experience, there's a lot that happens that just makes you feel bad in general. It's okay if that's not for someone, if they don't want to be made to feel that way in a game. But nobody can argue that it's not a masterpiece of story-writing. Many people in the gaming community need to learn that not every game is going to be for them. And that's okay because there are hundreds of other games that will be for them!
That's a very interesting point! I would guess that the level of divisiveness was heightened because more people were gaming at that time, and tensions were already very high at the time. But I think this game would have received a lot of mixed attention no matter what. Unfortunately the gaming community has had it's toxic members long before the pandemic, and those people would have been angry at some of the non-stereotypical videogame characters no matter what.

Ellie almost kill abby and like before abby almost kill Ellie and Dina 😮😮soo brutal 🙀🙀
But abby forgive ellie no more kill and now ellie forgive her no more kill and take Lev to find firefly
So Ellie found the Dina's House but isn't there 😢😢😢 because she's angry to Ellie for abandoned for her and son JJ 😢😢
And Ellie remember the past flashback well Ellie still angry with Joel for hospital firefly because she not agreed for save her better than humanity
Joel feel doubt or she still angry or hate for joel , so Joel respect Ellie, no more save her for humanity, because Joel respect her for decision
And Ellie finally he agreed so Ellie forgive Joel 😢❤❤❤

This game really takes you on an emotional rollercoaster, but it is a beautiful (and heartbreaking) journey!
I hope they do make a TLOU3, I want to see Ellie with a different, happier ending
