    I like how they used Youth Of Today and Judge as the bands they dug before everything else became a recreation. Youth of Today and Judge existed solely to re creat the old hardcore sound and attitude of bands like SSD, Antidote and Minor Threat. In hardcore everything seems like a re creation because most bands just want to re capture the sound and attitude of those original 80s bands. It kinda comes in waves because the bands that have been around longer normally start to go in a more metal direction and then the younger bands rebel against that and want to "bring hardcore back" that cycle goes on and on. This was a sick episode tho and Finn is a lucky man to have sat in the same seat as Chromazz 😂

    As a metalhead who has been in some brutal pits (quite awhile back...my pit days are over) with hardcore dudes at some huge shows where bands of each genre are playing, I've never had any problems whatsoever. No punches thrown, no weapons pulled. At the end of the night, we were all there for the same thing, heavy music. Helps when you dig both metal and hardcore too. Guess I haven't met the kinda hardcore dudes these guys know or been at the right shows to be involved in what they speak of, but loved hearing about it!!

    To be quite honest I don’t see very much racism at all in the Metal community aside from the occasional black metal fans. Every group is going to have a few racist pieces of trash but I almost never see it and I talk to a lot of people. Although I do mainly fuck with the more underground death/brutal death/slam kind of stuff. Maybe some of the other sub genres can be like this but I haven’t really seen it myself.

    • @MaharlikaAWA
      @MaharlikaAWA ปีที่แล้ว

      The racism exists in their heads
      It's not real. They want to be perpetual victims and feel special in any scene they join. That's a contributing factor to ruining a scene.
