My niece was driving on a lesser used highway in CA one afternoon. She was in the fast lane when she heard a voice say, "Get out of this lane." She was startled, and didn't immediately change lanes. She then heard the voice again more urgently say, " Get out of this lane, NOW!" This time she did move over a lane, and then saw a car coming the wrong direction in the fast lane. She escaped a certain headon collision by heeding that voice. She later figured that the person must have inadvertently (or drunkenly) entered an offramp. So grateful she received a warning that saved her life! I have received various warnings and promptings throughout my life too. Some are very subtle. Some are stronger. I pay attention to those feelings, and heed them. I'd rather err on the side of caution. I'm very thankful for Heavenly help! HOWEVER, if I get a feeling, or hear a voice telling me to do something harmful to someone else, or something illegal or unethical, I'm NOT going to heed anything of that nature! That sort of thing would be from a dark source.
@@purplekat5864 Yes it’s so important to listen to the still small voice. I’ve had similar experiences. Some involving preventing a car accident as well. ❤️
If we weren't prepared and heeding the warnings of local leaders, we might have not made it through the 3 hurricanes that hit our area just this summer. I'm grateful for the wisdom of preparedness. Although I never knew him, I believe it was President Grant who said you can't feed people with empty shelves. Those words keep ringing in my ears. I am beyond grateful that our food storage was spared. They expected an 18 foot storm surge, but we didn't have a drop! I will never forget the miracles stemming from Milton and the community we gained. I am beyond grateful to Heavenly Father for His plan of salvation, both temporal and spiritual! We are given tools to save others as well as ourselves. Every time there's a trial there will be miracles!
Thank you for this video. I recently gave a talk in my home ward and warned the members to prepare. Both Spiritually, and temporally. When i concluded, not a single person talked to me after the meeting. They all turned away as i approached. As though i had poop on my suit or something. I personally know the 4 families in the ward that are preparing. Ironically, all 4 of those were not at that weeks meeting. I have never felt that before. Total rejection, even from the Bishopric. Usually, one of the bishopric will come over and tell you thanks, even if you give a crappy talk. But this one, nothing. Nada. I sat thru priesthood meeting, not a single person spoke to me. After church, walking down a busy hallway, i said HI, to people and literally, NO one spoke back, except kids. I asked my daughter what i may have said that made everyone so angry. She said, you told them to stop playing their video games, stop watching so much sports on TV, stop scrolling their phones, go to the temple, study your scriptures, repent and prepare to meet Jesus in your lifetime. Soon. She said of course you made them mad. I am at a loss for words anymore. Except for the 4 families, my close friends, and this channel, and one or two others, i don't know anyone who is joyous or looking forward to the second coming. They all do not believe it. One man in my ward said the 10 tribes have yet to come back from the north pole under the ice. Another said we have not preached the gospel to every person on earth. Another said we have not built the New Jerusalem in Jackson County. What do i do? I am soo sad.
I’m so sorry, I feel your pain, I feel the same sometimes, at this point I don’t care if they don’t like me or think I’m crazy, i keep thinking on what President Nelson told us sisters in the relief society meeting last March, that we have to share our testimonies and experiences and prepare the world for the second coming, just keep doing it, at least you have some good friends in the ward, it’s best to have just a one good one than many fake ones. Keep being you and preparing the world 🫶🏼
You also can not receive revelation for your ward, you don’t hold the keys. Certainly advice to prepare and temple attendance and scripture study is not a problem.
Christian Fire Poppy, you use to point to the sky for confirmation, have you seen something new? We all know what times we are living in. If people are caught unprepared they will suffer, they have been warned.
@ I think she or he is not giving revelation for the ward, is just reassuring something our prophets and other leaders have said all this time. But many members don’t want to accept that second coming is that soon
Thank you for sharing this message. I hear, so many times, false messages that interprets temporal preparedness with fear…Individuals downplaying the importance of temporal preparedness and believing that one who prepares is spreading fear, or “fear mongering”. Spiritual preparedness is essential, and as we become truly spiritually prepared, we are lead by the spirit to become temporarily prepared as well. It works hand in hand and is of God and is, or should be, obtained from a state of faith and faithfulness, not fear.
🌿🕊️ In June of 2001 I had a dream, I believe saved our lives. On the way back from New Mexico, pregnant with twins, as my husband drove, I was resting in the passenger seat after quietly praying. I woke up after having a dream, where the Lord showed me that there was going to be a vehicle accident. I saw a dark blue SUV in the woods off the right side of the highway. I told my husband what I saw, repeatedly telling him that he needed to slow down because there was going to be an accident. At my insistence he finally slowed down his driving. After 3 1/2 mile markers down the highway, a woman in a red sports car crossed over from the highway going the opposite direction. The dark blue SUV I saw in the woods was where I had seen it. The highway was closed, as a medical helicopter came to take the woman to the hospital. We were safe in the seventh vehicle behind that accident. 🕊️🌿 If we pay attention, I truly believe that we are constantly being guided and directed, in every aspect of our lives.
If I may ask, what was the tone of the warning? How did it effect you emotionally? It's important that we know the difference between our own anxiety and that of the spirit. Your story may offer some great insight into that distinction. Either way, thanks for sharing!
Always and I do mean always listen to The Still Small Voice and trust in God the Father to take care of you and Jesus Christ our brother will always be on hand no matter where we are to help us and the Holy Spirit can guide us through multiple situations all glory to God
