- Description: The story follows a newlywed couple, Ann and Richard (Ricky) Brewster, boards the ship is the S.S. Maurevania for a fun filled honeymoon. The couple has $10,000 for their travels and when groom Ricky takes the money to be stored at the concierge, he disappears. When Ann searches for him, there is no record of the couple being on board and the cabin B-13 does not exist!

Wow, this show is so good! This is absolutely one of my favorite episodes so far.
The fact that the Paris story that shows up in Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is something I grew up attached to made it even better.
Suspense was one of the best, always had the top stars......
This was made into a movie called Dangerous Crossing (1953). It starred Jeanne Craine and Michael Rennie.

Capital B is also a 13 if you stencil it, like Box 13 (an OTR detective show) or the film "Banlieue 13."
Does anyone remember an episode of Suspense that dramatizes the story she refers to at the top? The one about the mother who disappears from her hotel room in Paris. No one will believe the daughter, and she has a very tense and surreal run around the city trying to find help when she doesn't know the language. That one is also excellent. Too many episodes to remember all their names!
I remember seeing this as an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents! It's on HBOMax
