This particular feast is one of the greatest on the island not only because of its decorations, church and statue but the true meaning of the celebration of the saint. I was brought up attending the feast for the whole week every year because my father is from Floriana. He is in fact one of those men wearing the white robe carrying the statue. He has in fact been doing so for the last 43 years.. No joke huh ?? All hail to the people behind all this because it takes lots of dedication... and thanks to you who brought a piece of this to light.

The 100-year-old Arch, seen at 3:18, was burned down by an arsonist, who was apprehended but, to date, nothing has been concluded! Thanks for this video.
Same old story in malta nothing happens!! Yes i know. I did a video about it .try send you link .Was talking about the open top bus the other day...now over two years ..and not even a police investigation 😥
Thanks for the comment...yes, paddling pool, but i missed some of the thing they thew, never seen that before, i think only in Floriana , inside was really great atmosphere, i am not religious but was very up lifting...
