Fun fact, did you guys know Samurai Jack like Raiden just got the name Jack from the people they encountered. Since both Raiden Jack and Samurai Jack's real names aren't known. And with Samurai Jack being in the future for 50 years with the alias, I don't even know if he still goes with or remember his old name.
While I doubt Jack would willingly go for a killing blow, there's no doubt in my mind he'd beat Sam. The traditional samurai has outsped concentrated beams from the sun, carried around boulders while repeatedly jumping around massive trees, took down multiple bounty hunters before a drop of water hit the ground, and survived a fall from orbit when he was being propelled by an explosion!! Dude is literally nuts! Edit: dear God what have I started Edit 2: so I went back to everyone's favorite channel for 1v1s, death battle to get the math and found out Jack is almost 7 times faster than Raiden who moves at around 11 percent the speed of light, who outmatched Sam in their duel. Also his katana was made from three gods who are the peak of their myth of different cultures and cannot be broken by normal means leaving no question that it can block murasama instead of being sliced through. Also while the jump good has been memed, pulling a superman and jumping over 100 ft is no joke. And one last thing to add, I kid you not, he as won a gladiatory arena as a bloody CHICKEN!!
Hard disagree on the strength point. Remember Sam scales to people like Raiden and Senator Armstrong. Sam defeated and would have killed pre-upgrade Raiden who is strong enough to block attacks from a Metal Gear Ray. The same Raiden who cut the metal gear ray into pieces. Even against Upgraded Raiden he did extremely well, the same Raiden who cut up and wielded the arm of Metal Gear Excelsus and killed Senator Armstrong. With his sheath he cut off Raiden's arm, and even damaged Armstrong's Nanomachines. He Slammed Raiden into the floor; who temporarily stopped the Outer Haven with one arm and a far weaker cybernetic Body and even threw the Metal Gear Ray he fought Jack is impressive for being able to pick up and carry boulders, but Sam has him beat hard on this front. --- I should also mention that the High Frequency Blade would simply be the superior weapon for this fight. As it has the ability to resonate and vibrate as to destroy nearly anything it cuts. It's likely that if their blades clashed Sam's strength combined with the high frequency blade would simply knock Jack's sword out of his hands. Jack has fought physically stronger opponents, but nothing nearly as insane as what Sam puts out. --- However Sam has never shown the speed feats that Jack has shown so he would most likely still lose. However I should mention that Sam isn't exactly slow, and Jack has been fought back by opponents who have been shown to be slower than him.

So I think the creators of this covers are from different places in Japan. The famous Japanese is of course is TOKYO dialect cuz capital+tourist learn it and probably all the Anime Companies headquarters are there.
