As a non-believer, I am completely moved by this and while I'm not ready to accept I can't deny the spirit I feel while hearing and watching this amazing performance. If this is the 'holy spirit' inciting tears to run down my face then so be it - and I thank you! This is outstanding. To have been surrounded by these talented singers and raised up from my seat as so many have been in the video must've been a unforgettable moment.
Michael God is love and loves you as one of his creations. He sent Jesus to die for all of our sins and we've only to accept forgiveness by saying "forgive me of my sins" and believe that he did. "Lord, I believe that your Son,Jesus died for my sins and that I'm forgiven for my sins and will have eternal life". Then pray about finding a truly Christ -like body of believers to join in the worship of Him. Like your heart guided you to that video his Holy Spirit will guide you to where you can learn more .
“Oh to grace how great a debtor” Asking for your help, Lord, though I don’t deserve your blessing. Asking for the prayers of those good souls who read these words. Asking God to bless every soul in this world.

AAAAAmen! I play this in the early morning . I cry but I feel soo uplifted. I do not need alot of loud electronic instruments other that an organ. The a cappella voices transform me.
I am sitting here in the First Baptist Church, Clinton OK, listening to this version after rehearsing it on our organ. I think one of the things that moves me so much is the exuberance shown on the faces and the joy exhibited on the congregations faces. I know this recording is 6 or 7 years old, but I think it is the best! I have listened and watched the Tabernacle Choir and it doesn’t come close. Praise God from whine all blessings flow!
I’ve heard this song and even this version a THOUSAND times, but for some reason on this Sabbath evening it’s taking me to a place I haven’t been before. All I can say is TO GOD BE THE GLORY!! Happy Sabbath
I was a member of the Bethune Cookman Concert Chorale. I have to say I’ve listened to this rendition about 20 times and each time I’m moved to tears. This is so anointed 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Thank you for sharing this. The words of this hymn...the human condition to wander away from God, the recognition that it is only God that can rescue us and bring us safely home. Oh to Grace how great a debtor...daily... Yet by the simple act of asking, the multiple voices in community sharing the request supporting each other with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Thank God for His grace and the support He gives us through one another.
I cried from the depth of my soul. Thank You, Thank You. Please never stop teaching classical music. I get so tired of hearing foul, belittling lyrics and obscene music coming from my people. Thank You!
I am totaly moved when I listen to this version of the "Fount" As a keyboardist myself, I perk up especially when the organist plays that interlude................ and again when some the sisters in the congregation completely lets the spirit cause them to scream with the joy that they did. This rendition also makes joyful tears come to mine eyes. Amen!!
Me 5...had a rough friday but its sabbath and by chance i hit this before i went to my lesson. I sang in choir back in the day and was wonderfully surprised to hear mature well traines vocalists. What a blessing. Heaven came down to be an anointment for my /our souls.
Let's see. I have listened to this 15 times now. No plan to stop. How can that many incredible singers be in one place at one time? Even if you are not a Christian, I don't see how people could not be moved by this ! If they ever perform this as a reunion group again, I will drive down there from Virginia to hear it. What a blessing ! Thank You ! And I don't even know what an Ebenezer is and I don t care :)
I found this superb version on TH-cam a few years ago, as it's one of my favorite hymns. I keep coming back, because this rendition is so magnificent. It's quite something to capture the spirit of a piece, and these musicians have done so perfectly. Thank you for the inspiring and uplifting music.
I chose this as the congregational hymn at my 46 year old daughter’s funeral, partly because we both loved it, but in large part because I had seen this some months before. It still brings me to tears, and brings me great comfort. Thank you all.
Each time I watch this I get goose bumps... This is so beautifully done!!! What a day it will be when we sing with the angels. I want to be apart of the heavenly choir. the good thing is there will be no rehearsal, we'll just sing!!! ❤🔥🎵🎹🎼🎶
After seeing so many HORRIBLE rap and hip hop "singers and musicians" receive so much UNDESERVED attention, it makes me so glad to see these GIFTED, CLEAN-LOOKING young people singing excellent PRAISES to our Lord and Savior! Thank you so much for sharing this BLESSING!😍👍👏🙏
The inner man is reflected in the outward man. Psalm 149 3:5 3 Let them praise His name in the dance; let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and harp.4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in His people; He will beautify the meek with salvation5 Let the saints be joyful in glory; let them sing aloud upon their beds.
How can anyone not get caught up in the sheer exuberance of this marvellous music!!! An extraordinary experience, even sitting here watching it on TH-cam. You Aeolians ROCK!!!
To God be all the Glory for that Powerful performance! I cannot wait to enjoy that mighty Choir of Saints Heading to Heaven singing that song! Jesus, please come back soon! Amen!
After seeing HORRIBLE rap and hip hop "singer, musicians" get so much UNDESERVED exposure, these GIFTED, CLEAN CUT-LOOKING young people excellently perform this HEAVENLY music praising God gives me so much JOY and HOPE! Thank you so much for sharing this.👏👍😍
The faces of these young people are so unworldly so individually pure in spirit. Huntsville Alabama must be a blessed place. I have seen something that brings my spirit up.
Oakwood has a humdinger of a music school and one of the strongest choral programs in the American South. One of my favorite hymns. Feels like the church triumphant reached through one of the thin places and touched us who are still on earth.
I ain't going to even lie but this song rang in my spirit today. The Holy Ghost had me humming this song today. What a blessed and wonderful Saviour and Redeemer we serve. 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
It is Easter morning 2019. Tears in my eyes as you have lifted this man's heart to gaze on our risen Jesus. Thank you for letting us in on God's continuing work through you all.
Craig Britton I’m listening to this on Easter morning 2020… Amid the Coronavirus pandemic.... and having lost my father in September 2019… This was his favorite hymn. This rendition by the Aeolians has brought me to tears.
Thank you, for this melodious rendition of Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing. Truly, the voices of this choir are a blessing to every listener. As tears stream down my face now, I can only imagine what it was like to have been present during this presentation. Thank you, for keeping the hymns of the church alive with such a magnificent sound. It seems we are losing this traditional style of singing and music. I miss it so. Bravo!
Guys. I AM PRAYING FOR THE COMMANDED BLESSING..the fruit of UNITY...Psalms 133...WE MOVE TOGETHER TODAY. ALL THE WAY...with GREAT SUCCESS..VICTORY IN JESUS...ALL GLORY TO GOD! NO flesh glorified...but giving our all..me, too..in JESUS name! Thank YOU! LORD!
LORD is this YOU? Is it YOU LORD? Is this what YOU created; these voices, these people? Are you THE ONE WHO has done this? Are YOU THE ONE WHO said " Let Us make man in Our image and likeness?" All these voices, are they within YOU? ALL of them! Is it YOU LORD? Is it YOU? Because I can't believe what I've just heard!!!
Amen! The world must be filled up with more worship songs like this one! Great performance! Let us bring it to one million views before the end of the year (2/22/2024)!
This performance is absolutely REMARKABLE and I am so glad I found it. A lot of choirs try this arrangement and it's often very lovely, but not necessarily stirring. THIS was an emotional rollercoaster. Top-notch singing and evident commitment to the spirit of the moment - commitment to the notion that a performance like this is real life magic. And we need to talk about the organist's reinterpretation of Wilberg's harmony during his solo because that was such a brilliant and wild journey. An absurdly large musical flex that has me shook.
This makes me think of what will it will be like when we get to heaven. Revelations 19:1 comes to mind hearing this beautiful performance from this amazing, outstanding group of musicians. It brought me to tears. I'm still a fan of this talented group of singers and always will be. I pray the favor of God will continue to richly abide in all of your lives.
This is...This is...This is...I can't find the right words to describe what I felt. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Am I the only one who kept going back to the organ solo?🙈🙈
Emeka, you are not the only one who keeps going back to the organ solo. I've heard this arrangement by Mack Wilberg so many times including the BYU Choir who introduced it, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir where Mr. Wilberg presently is the conductor, the Crystal Cathedral Choir directed by Don Muen back about 10 years ago, etc. This is one of those arrangements where the arrangement itself doesn't require any tampering with, HOWEVER, this organist took the original arrangement and added just that amount of his improvisation that complimented the hymn for the Aeolians while maintaining the integrity of the arrangement. By, the way, I love his chord variations. Plus, isn't the organ sound itself just wonderful? Your description of this rendering is so, so accurate.
Listening to their rendition of this well known hymn makes me feel as though I’m hearing it for the first time. I can’t imagine the atmosphere in that place in hearing it live! Just a glimpse of heaven.....
Absolutely beautiful, respectful and obviously focused on God rather than your own noteworthy talents. Brought tears to my eyes at the end. Thank you for posting. I look forward to holding your hands and singing with you before the Lord one day.
Sweet Mother of Pearl - that was beyond moving. I have just recently discovered this University Choir on TH-cam, and I am blown away by their talent and beautiful interpretations. I used to sing this in choir, with my Father, many years ago. A former RC, I left the Church some years ago, after a conscious decision not to support a patriarchy with such an extensive history of abuse, from sexual assault (including former Clergy teachers of mine), to the Irish Homes for unwed girls (Magdalene laundries) to the horrific abuses and cultural genocide of Residential Schools. Listening to this GLORIOUS rendition of a favourite Hymn, sung by such beautiful, passionate young people, gives me a little hope for this fractured world. Oh thou fount of every blessing - INDEED.
While hearing this song, I am just speechless as to how beautiful this is. Awesome rendition by these amazing singers and this fabulous reunion choir at Oakwood University in Huntsville. And the rendition on the pipe organ was just breathless. Makes me MIGHTY PROUD to be an Alabamian and the facts that these are my peeps SANGGGGGGGIN like this. MIGHY PROUD1 MIGHTY!!!!!! PROUD!
As a non-believer, I am completely moved by this and while I'm not ready to accept I can't deny the spirit I feel while hearing and watching this amazing performance. AAAAAmen! I play this in the early morning . I cry but I feel soo uplifted. I do not need alot of loud electronic instruments other that an organ. The a cappella voices transform me.
Yes they are!
There is no “gold standard” of choral singing, only proper technique. That’s a very incorrect modern perspective on an ancient art.

Pure, clean, worshipful: the organ adding holy majesty...glorious, reflective inducing, potent, transportive... Set
Apart for Jesus
The voices are pure heaven. The organ is overpowering and spoiled the feeling of peace and reverence.
Mercy!!!!! Happy Sabbath! I can’t imagine what it will be like ! Absolutely Awesome 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾
Absolutely beautiful! This is my Sabbath worship song....Praise God for such beautiful talents!
GLORY!!! AMEN 🙌🙌🙌 GOD BLESS MY BLACK ADVENTIST BROTHERS AND SISTERS. that was so beautiful the anointing is on them. Keep living for Christ.♥️🙏🙏🙏
Blessed by this hymn! Beautiful, just beautiful! This was my mother’s favorite hymn. I am sure she heard this from heaven!

I watched it countless times and each time is more inspiring!
I have to listen to the Aeolians sing this magnificent hymn daily, as only they can sing it with the Lord's anointing!
Nothing but love for this choir, I have tears running down my fast at the moment 😭
