following you now you give great detail on gameplay the little things i did wishlist it but wont be able to afford it anyway this way i can still have a part of the fun i supose
Excellent video! Very detailed explanations about some Nightingale topics/mechanics not touched on in as greater detail in other guides. See you in the realms, realm walker!
This was great! I never caught that hope was a resource. As a stress test only player I wish I could have watched this first 😂 Looking forward to the next video!
Great video, thank you. Really looking forward to this, and great to hear such a positive vibe after alot of the negativity on reddit the past week post stress test!
Thank you! I think seeing confusion and negativity about this game is what inspired this video. I want to help people understand this game so they'll love it as much as I do
Good stuff! I loved the playtests.. kinda had a bit of a mess with crafting benches... but I think I'll have a better grip on where to place what when the game launches. Hope to see you out in the Realms! Big thumbs up and slappin the little white tic tack to come back for more! :)
Have so many questions about COOP, want to play with my husband and wondering how we can set up together in the same abeyance. Can we set up gates together and travel to the same realms, once there can we quest together and do we both get recipes if one of us finds it, or can we both pick one up at the same place. Love your vids, can't wait to start ourselves, we just finished Enshrouded together after 150 hours :)
How can we move base from realm to another? Kinda getting tired of my abeyance realm and harder realms already look waay more interesting with flying blimps and all.
I'm trying to get confirmation from the devs, because I've heard some say that right now we're *only* able to build Respite Cairns on Abeyance realms. In the past we've been able to just set a Respite point in any realm. But if you do decide to move, you can dismantle your belongings (x then v on keyboard) and bring the mats to a new realm to rebuild.
I gotta say , the game looks great ,but the ui looks shit . Am I wrong guys ? look at the equipment tab , everything has gray background , items are unclear from a quick glance , tools look so damn similar you'll probably get confused for 2 hours until you get accustomed to the look of that uninviting backpack. I feel like the backpack should look and feel good since it's probably the most private thing you can own in a game .. How do you go through so many miles working on character design, world building, game mechanics , lighting , etc etc but neglect the basic stuff most players will look the most ? (after environment oboviously ) hopefully they change it asap great video mate ! ♥
see you got a helper hehe.. I did not like my "helper" to much after finding my guilded lumber conviently placed fore me as FIrewood.. lol I know she was trying to help. but OMG that was my good wood. hahaha.. I Led her to another realm .. and left her.. lol
@@the_dorkness Ohh YAAY.. THANK you so much. I was so sad I was unable to join the "stress test" even for the ver few hours they opend the realms for it. I had to work. I never got to see the few updates that was added. im so excited for early access release.
Wouldn’t you say the entire survival genre is kind of about being inconvenienced and finding solutions to that inconvenienc? I feel the reward of survival games is finding and working the most effficient path through the inconvenience. It’s not BAD design, it’s just one you personally may not enjoy.
@@bromeisterbryceyou may not think it’s bad game design, I do. The survival genre is very broad, one that I love, and I don’t want to have to manage a debuff on something like stamina. Valheim does this right, this game doesn’t in my opinion. There is a difference between a lack of a buff, and the presence of a debuff.
I completely agree. I played a short Demo for this game (which I had really looked forward to ) But to be honest -- I was deeply disappointed. It's beautiful - but there was little else I found enjoyable. I did NOT like the UI at all - but it was a demo and I'm hopeful that they have done much to improve it. It's still on my wishlist - BUT I have no plans to purchase the game at release unless I find that they have changed A LOT.
It is releasing in Early Access so there's plenty of opportunity to play the game and also give your feedback to help shape its future! I have found Inflexion Studios to be very open to feedback, and they have said they want to actively work with the player base to improve Nightingale going forward. Understand that not everyone likes to play EA games though.
Wishlist Nightingale on Steam before it releases in Early Access on Feb 20 store.steampowered.com/app/1928980/Nightingale/

Appreciate the videos! Look forward to watching the follow ups. Good to peel back the layers leading into EA next week!

I'm planning on a deep dive into multiplayer during the FAQ i'm editing tomorrow!
@the_dorkness thanks, cant wait we want to coop one world from the start as we did with enshrouded!
Not sure I can play a game where my character is holding an umbrella most of the time. Marry Poppins vibes
What is the shelf called that you used for your fiber storage boxes
utilitarian shelf!
I love when you almost say what the lore of fae is in RL
lmfao! I had to catch myself there, i got delusional for a second
Thank u can't what great vids❤

This is really better in 3rd person.
I loove the third person mode. This game is so gorgeous, I want to see more of it

They actually did make huge changes to the HUD and UI just a few days ago based on player feedback!
nice ! thanks for replying so quickly @@the_dorkness 😘

I can say that there is a new feature where we can 'lock' our chests to keep NPCs from accessing them, so that will be a GAMECHANGER

Having only 3 biomes is a no go for me. This game needs much more time to cook
Hopefully they put the work in during Early Access to expand biomes 🤞🏻
Ugh - a debuff for NOT maintaining restfulness is peak obnoxious game design. Why not just, NOT have a buff? Why does there need to be a debuff?
to be fair, it takes a long time in game to actually get tired enough to get the debuff and the bedroll resources are EVERYWHERE

looks like Valheim with better graphics. I mean that in a good way :-)
I've never actually played Valheim but SO MANY people suggest it to me! maybe one day I'll dive in!
200 hours ?
dr horse finish it in 30.
why not let people play an figure it out, instead making gamers more useless then what they are
