+aditya singh modding will be difficult since the new system is much more complex, but KTM service people will be able to elaborate more. I prefer the new one, because it gets a lot of functional changes.

Hi Rahul, my RC390 was manufactured in August 2015. Just checked the tyres. The rear is a H rated and front is W rated. Both still have about 40% life left. Bike has done about 14k kms.

hey rahul. I am very tough over bumps and broken roads. my pulsar 220 had held well over last 10 year and 1. 7 lac Kms. iam afraid the wheels in KTM 390 series is too fragile for me. would I crack one?
The modern alloys are heavier and much more sturdy but accidents can happen, your weight will never crack the alloy, the wheel cracks because of large potholes, when you hit them at high speed.

I'm not familiar with temperature and heating characteristics of disc breaks. Can someone share how size of non-contact patch affect heat dissipation. I thought they reduced that area to shed some weight from the break assembly.

Cheers for putting out all the new info... Video title is true...I thought it's a clickbait...The previous gen rc 390's rear shock lost all its dampening power due to proximity with the hot exhaust. This one had a saperate oil canister hanging on the frame..please compare it with older model when you do a test ride...

Thanks Rahul for the awesome review. I have a Pulsar 220 for 2 yrs now... but now wan to go for either KTM rc390 or Yahama R15 v3. My main need is instant pick up to overtake in short speed races along winding roads. Which one of he 2 bikes would you recommend.
RC is a completely different class with more than double the power. and tech that R15 doesn't even come close to.
