I'm not a fan of oversized patterns and the Nikki would be too much for me, but it looks great on you and I hope you enjoy the warmth and snuggles
Man I've been trying to resist buying another pattern but I'm sold on the drew now. Love your version Alison. Sewing wise I had a shift around in my sewing room, I was finding I didn't want to be in the space (it's a small box room) because it was so messy 😂. Sorted now so hopefully I'll get sewing again 😊

I'm making yet another McCalls M7022 view F skirt. It will be number four! I'm using a 'seasonal' fabric but it's not exclusively Christmas themed. It's bright green with gold and silver stars on it and I'll wear it into the new year but I'm planning to go OTT with it on Christmas day with red leggings and maybe a red top. Dark glasses will be needed! I've used just less than two metres so I might enter it in the Sew2Celebrate2 challenge.

I like the colour blocking idea on the drew but all the sewn up ones I've seen look too big on everyone. It's the sleeves I think. They're just too baggy
I need to down size maybe by 1 or 2 sizes But I do like the shape of the sleeves there are lots of different sweatshirts out there I’ve listed some in the description box so there’s something for everyone I guess
Also, the way you have colour blocked is very flattering. I have seen some versions that use a lot of different colours and seem to add a lot of bulk to the shoulders and chest. Yours works really well because you have matched the black background of the patterned fabric with plain black.

If you want to overlap two pieces which each have a 1.5cm seam allowance, surely it'd be a 3cm overlap?
