@@damason724 You clearly don't know what the word "average" means. Don't worry you'll learn it eventually in high school stats class. If you add up all the money he made each month it comes out to a little less than $24,000. I'm not sure if you're aware, but there are 12 months a year, so $24,000/12 = $2000 per month. It's not a hard concept to grasp.
@@AnimeBibleStories hey idiot, Why would you count months that you didn't make any money towards the average?? you don't average in 8 months of not making money and 4 months of making money to get the average..the whole fucking point of figuring the average would be to see what you made and will be making per month adding in 8 months of not making anything does not show what you want to know.. it's not that hard of a concept.. you must not know anything about money and have to BE in high school to make such a dumbass statement. Why would any want to know the average of making nothing for 3/4 of a year ... But for figuring the value of his 2018 time worked you include the unprofitable time (since the work he put in q1-3 of the year helped him earn what he did in q4)

I started my channel and was monetized but then all the TH-cam Apocalypse happened and they unmonetized my channel for not having enough subscribers it sucks but thanks for the motivation to keep trying. Now because of you I have bought my first two machines and all I need now is to find locations. Happy new Year and may this coming year bring you success and happiness!

Congratulations, Reyes. I've been subscribed since early last year, and I'm happy for you man! It's crazy seeing your growth over the last year. I'm not even starting a business (I already own two successful companies) but I just love your drive and personality.
Hard work always pays off bro. In my opinion (everyone has their own) though, TH-cam should be your side hustle and maintain a regular/stable 9-5 because (as others have commented) this won't last forever. Another TH-cam apocalypse can happen. A lot of small channels didn't survive. The big channels did but they took a big hit in their income. You're a hustler and you've showed us that you can bounce back from hardship but why risk it if you have others to support. Again, this is just MY opinion.

TH-cam actually takes 45%, and what you see on your analytics page is with it already taken out.
Hi mate. He did say 25%. Other youtubers are saying 55%. How much does youtube really charge? 45% or 55%. Do you have any supporting evidence that can help me find out the truth?
I’m not really sure where it originated from. TH-cam is definitely not going to tell us how much they take, but former employees and several huge trusted sources state that it’s 45%.
So the $23000 he made. He said he only received $17500 from youtube. So i know hes telling the truth because 25% of $23000 is $17500. So he must be right. Reese.
If he’s saying that he only made $17,500 from the $23,000 then he must be signed up with a network or counting taxes. You have to pay taxes on TH-cam money if it’s your full time income. If he’s signed up with a network they usually take some more of your money. I have 15,000,000 views and have made over $30,000 so he is definitely signed with a network or is counting taxes.
@@DaintierFox Net income, generally refers to your (pretax) income after all expenses have been deducted. So, Reyes saying that he netted $17,500 from TH-cam is an accurate statement.

Bro I really appreciate this video. It was hella motivating! At 8:16 when you were talking about momentum, i really related to that. I have a small business on ebay where I use craigslist to make ads looking for used phones. Long story short I had got robbed 2 days ago. Someone called, claiming they had an iphone 8 plus to sell. We met up and 2 ppl held me at gunpoint. They weren’t able to take much money, but they took my wallet with all of my information. That experience was horrible and humiliating. Its been hard. But just hearing that one part at 8:16, that helped me a lot. I have to keep my momentum. Thanks for the content bro!
