Satan Bound 1,000 Years
20 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; 3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.
The Saints Reign with Christ 1,000 Years
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for [a]a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.
Satanic Rebellion Crushed
7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. 9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. 10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where[b] the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
The Great White Throne Judgment
11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before [c]God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second [d]death. 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Brilliant solid teaching! All correct, biblically literate and very well done. Ammillenialism is the only conclusion one can come to upon reading the plain sense of the entire New Testament (and old).
It is a gross overstatement to say that the word thousand, here chilioi in the Greek, is always used symbolically. To the contrary, it is used more in the literal sense than otherwise everywhere in the NT. There is however, a different Greek word that is used, murioi, ie. “…than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue,” meaning innumerably many, myriad. But, even in the English, the context leaves no doubt as to what sense the term ten thousand is to be taken.
So, to answer to what some suggest, saying that the thousand years is meant to be taken only as figurative for an undetermined period of time, for instance, citing Psalm 50:10, “For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.” I would ask the question: How many “a thousand hills” are there on the whole earth? Any group of a thousand hills with cattle on them is more a poetic way of saying that all of the cattle are the Lords, and that said, without requiring the “a thousand” to be figurative for anything other than what is meant in the literal sense. As with all of the OT poetic or "figure of speech" references, the comparison is specious - you cannot use the poetic to convert the normal into the symbolic.
Let us also consider that the word thousand, is used in this chapter six times in the original text preceded with the definite article a or the. Wherever χίλιοι (chilioi) appears with a prefix of certain affinity, such as “seven-thousand”, the prefix being ἑπτά (hep-tah’ or seven), indicates how many thousands. A numerical prefix appears accordingly wherever the number of thousands is two or more, imagine that!
Another peculiarity to be noted is that never do we see the primary numeral, εἷς (hice or one) in the Greek, prefixed to χίλιοι in the original text anywhere in the New Testament. But when appearing alone without a prefix of any certain affinity, or with the definite article preceding, the or a thousand, it is understood as singular everywhere, and should also be understood as such in this chapter - that is to say, that the thousand years in context, should be taken in no other way than a literal one thousand years. This word is not symbolic, nor is it poetic in this context. - The Millennium Question

Thank you.
One day at a time, sweet Jesus!
1000 years is yet but a day
Jesus Christ, just come back already, and end this hell this earth . The world is steeped in the satanic kingdom
For Steve...everything is literal as long as it disproves dispensationalism and everything is metaphorical or symbolic as long as it disproves dispensationalism.
As far as I can see he backs every thing with scripture .Also Steve has only only Scratched the surface on biblical scripture that backs his interpretation of revelation 20.
If amillenialists see the 1000 years prior to Christ's return ( about the 20:00 mark) then there are 2 - 1000 year periods, as we reign with Christ for a 1000 years as well.... (1:2:50) first ressurection is clearly described in ephesians 2
Dead in our sins and raised to new life....
Revelation is a spiritual book, it literally takes place in the spirit realm. Therefore a ressurection literally stated would be a spiritual one. The physical ressurection at the judgement is referred to as the "second death" doesn't sound like much of a ressurection does it?
I think agree with this gentleman regarding the understanding of the first and second resurrections. However, I personally believe that Satan himself was crushed under the feet of the first century Christians like the Bible teaches.
We are already in the new heaven and earth of the new covenant. Righteousness dwell here already. Jesus has already made an end of sins so we don't have to sacrifice animals for the atonement of sins. He doesn't remember our sins anymore.
I agree with you, Shelly. We are much, much further along biblically than most people realize.
@@larpsim the most problem is that some we are still under the law of old covenant where still certain things we are not to do . Jesus has free us from these things and we are trust him.
I was also wondered what rev was about and it was explained to John.
Jesus now is ruler of heaven earth because he said he was. He has taken the devil's domain away from him, and took back his rule.
We are no longer dead spiritually in the God. We still have to believe on him to be saved. 😉

Well said. I'm in total agreement although I must admit that there is still so much more that I still haven't realized fully. I'm curious though how did you come to conclude these things for yourself? It seems some people can go their entire life not understanding what you've expressed.
@@larpsim Ok. When i was a kid we were all about these thingand they would scare kids half to death and had them think that there was a beast at night time ready to get them. there was pastor we had who gave his explaination of the book of Rev and he didn't understand a bit morethan we did. We didn't understand a lot of jewish terms. We ididn't know that heaven and earth had to do the temple. if read though it a replica of the one in heaven. i didn't know a lot Jewish untill i heard a guy explain about the heaven and earth. jesus said though it his body that he was destory and raise it back up.
of they ask him how was that going to do that because it took so many years for build these buildings as he told them that these were going to torn down.
in our belief all of this hadn't happened yet and our generation was not going pass away untill it fulfilled. Now jesus wasn't dead in our age but in the old covenant age. The city of jerusalem was destoryed in 70 AD and the sacrifices ceased.
the new covenant was in place after Jesus death and ressurection yet they were still wanting to keep certain things of the law because the pharisees were still in charge of religious practices the time. They didn't want to get away certain thing because that way the way of life
Like some people they try to make it happen today.
@@larpsim jesus told in Matthew 24 that these things would have in their generation. People want it in ours because of some of the crisis that is happening. They want to say it is our generation he talking to.
The new covenant has no last days because jesus is our preist forever. of course we may somethings but we are supposed to kept from hour temptation.
Just take rev 20 literal where it makes sense, you teaching is not correct
