Wang Yi Lei has quickly become one of my absolute favorite MLs!! I look forward to more great dramas from him. Zhang Ruo Chen is also one of my fav FLs! She never disappoints!!
Like this one thus far too. I started to watch 3 versions simultaneously, but haven't been able to finish the other 2 yet. One version is 3 hours, so although I like the actors in that version, 3 hours for this story might be a bit draggy. I may get back to them.
ML : Wang Yilei FL : Zhang Ruochen I count the versions as I see it here in YT since I do not know which ones came out first and I do not read Chinese! This is the 3rd version i have seen and this is the 4th/5th (?) time I am watching this ( I guess that can tell you I like this drama). The first one, i don´t know the names of their lead actors, the 2nd version I watched was with Zhang Shan, i don´t know the name of the ML there but I know his face, I have seen him in other dramas. That was sweet, Zhang Shan gave the FL a very innocent vibe. She had a great chemistry with her partner. Their sticker scene was hot as well. I have seen a 4th version with Li Boyan/Wang Jin. That was okay. If I look at it as same as the same story as the 3 other versions I have watched, I feel it was subpar. Not that Wang Jin or Li Boyan did bad, they are both good actors. I just personally feel they do not have the chemistry to pull it off. Its like I asked a pretty girl and handsome boy to stand together or have them hug for a photo. Nice to look at but their chemistry was bland so I am not sold on the supposed sweet/loving scenes. This version I feel, out of all 4 I have seen, had the best story telling - script wise and editing wise. The main lead´s relationship was well established with the short flashbacks they have incorporated. They were also able to show how the ML was silently in love with his friend. Also, I must say, the ML´s introduction to the variety show here was the best intro in all 4 versions I have watched, and the sticker scene in this version was the best written/implemented in all 4. That scene was hot!! And I though Zhang Shan´s sticker scene was hot! This was hotter, i mean HOTTER!! Also, can I just say, Wang Yilei´s eyes in this drama was so awesome. The ML in Zhang Shan´s version I feel, expresses his emotions/love in the story, with his whole face. In this version, I feel, Wang Yilei´s eyes was speaking volumes for him. Even when he was teasing the FL or being indulgent to his wife´s requests, his eyes was acting separately. Kudos to him, made the story all more believable! I also love how sis in law flat out called the 2FL´s BS to her face when she was gossiping about her when they first joined the show. I love her. I also like how SIMP his brother with his wife. This I feel was also better presented in all the versions I saw. I feel they made it make sense why the brother was so obsessed with looking for his sister. I also like they made the leads appear edgier by just liking to ride motorcycles. They did not do anything extreme, but they established the ¨rebel¨ spirit the 2 leads share that helped them bond more back when they were in school. Would I recommend this? ABSOLUTELY. There are no forced organ donation, unnecessary bloodletting, no domestic violence or torturing the FL just to show she was weak! I love it for that alone. But they mixed in a great storytelling with good actors and supporting cast. I am absolutely sold on this drama! Adding this to my Watch Again list!! I have bookmarked all uploaded versions on this that I can find in YT.

Watched this a week ago as 2nd Version and got to say it was my favourite among the 3 😊, this had a twist to its Version but nevertheless worth watching, it had topnotch Chemistry between our 2 main Leads, real kisses, well paced relationship development, support from friends and family members for our main leads , stupid Antagonists who should know better 😅.
