Add inspiration to your spark link to make the mana requirement easier. Solve bossing by adding Cast on Shock with Lightning Conduit, a weapon swap for a chimed staff with +7 lightning skill levels, Conductivity with heightened curse, and lightning exposure and overcharge on your ball lightning link. You can get the extra 60 spirit for the cast on shock from a variety of sources (vaal helmet implicit, ventor's gamble, against the darkness jewel, morior invictus, or chest and amulet mods). Respec your elemental storm ascendancy points into the branch that gives -20 resistance on exposure and consider picking up some curse effect and shock magnitude on the tree or on jewels. You then find you mana balance and move the remainder of your jewel resources to shock magnitude or ailment magnitude. The improved effectiveness of cast on shock against rares and unique bosses combined with the massive damage scaling of lightning conduit should make them fall over very quickly.
I was wondering if this would be comparable to using regular wand with plus to skills and mana, plus using staff makes you lose out on using a shield/focus/ or the shield that increases rune effect. Seems like quite a bit of mana loss but I do like the idea simply because it’s different.
For bossing go double shock + increased exposure + weapon swap curse effect. Then you can use orb of storms to apply 2 shocks + exposure and curse, applying like 300% more lightning damage dealt effectively. Then you can use lightning conduit which consumes both shocks and is currently seemingly bugged as having 2 shocks makes it do an insane multiple of damage.
Also to add on you could potentially weapon swap to a high dps setup for bossing. I was thinking myself of just respeccing to the standard Meta MoM spark build and maybe integrating the automated sparks + killjoy for mapping
One of the methods that I used to solve mana problems on my invoker is getting the "recover 3% mana when you invoke a spell" near the top right of the tree, then holding down a button with elemental invocation. With enough mana, impetus, and increased energy generation, you can pretty much reverse all issues whatsoever as long as you can have enough casts of it. The supposed method you can do is slap on lightning conduit for any tougher enemies, BoL w/ scattershot and lightning warp for dumb shenanigans, or a very low level skill like ember fusillade or something due to cast speed/skill speed restrictions being low. For me I went invoker with HoWA because I was planning to use the howa build to supplement the clear and speed, with the actual damage coming from bell + invocation, and not needing to worry about mana flask. That and double herald makes it so I can keep shitting out invocations (but triggering a spark that can also shock is probably infinitely better for invocation energy generation). I'll see if I can get a running version, and then update with any other interesting finds!
Tested a bit, 5.5k mana makes it really hard to get back mana, but it seems to be reasonably possible. I tried bol + lightning warp for possible speed mechanics but couldn't get it as frequent. I'd imagine if you really really wanted to, you could even speed up bol and then lightning warp wherever you need, but then that'd be an always casting method, which wraps back to an autobomber of some sort to generate energy.
@@CuongNguyen-nm6vx honestly, I couldn't get it up 100% of the time, since ailment threshold maps immediately doom the invoke strat (and technically the shock trigger). You'd still need the gloves I think unless you stack up a LOT of mana on kill, at least to cover the mana lost.
Tried that passive node with a different character, sadly doesn't work. Mana recovery seems to only happen from invoked spells not triggered. So skills like barrier invocation will recover 3% mana but triggered like as Cast on Shock won't recover.
@@blackgospel5474 right, that's why you use the elemental invocation, generating energy from shocks, with a low level low cast time skill, to get your shocks from. I was remarking that a better use of it would be more ball of lightnings and more lightning warps, not because it's good, but because it's funny.
You should consider annointing "Frazzled", 15% mana regen, and 30% increase magnitude of shock. Another good notable is "Conservative Casting", which in addition to mana regen gives you 8% reduced cost of skills. Regarding rings, you can get a Breach Ring with mana modifiers, and then bump its quality all the way to 50% with mana quality to make those modifiers really pop.
Mana regen is useless for sustain during mapping. Mana on kill is all you need to sustain during mapping. Even if I trippled my mana regen and went from 800 current mana regen/sec to 2k mana regen/sec it would still be not enough because it drains all mana instantly on big enemy packs without mana on kill.
You can get more mana by stacking int with Gemling Legionaire than you can by just stacking mana. But attribute stacking gets quite expensive quite fast :D

im sure woolfio, a long time veteran with tons of experience, has totally forgotten about everlasting gaze, one of the most common and strongest meta items in the game. and he will be shocked to read your post, completely revamping the build immediately. wait until he discovers eldritch battery, or trade. I mean, should you even tell him? Im sure he has no idea.
@@Woolfio I briefly converted my spark build to this using the staff and everlasting, but I don't have the gloves for double trigger. I triggered spark with spark. It felt really good in breaches. I did put inspiration on the triggered spark which helped reduce the mana drain. Very cool idea, I hope some of the other issues can be solved.
Rarity does not have words "on kill" so it won't affect. Even if it only works when killing enemies. From all my mapping so far I have not seen any weirdness in loot.
To be honest I am kind of lazy. Not being able to import characters is too much trouble. Waiting for PoB2 in few days, not sure if it will have feature to import.
Wait for the upcoming patch to see how much buffs those uniques will receive stats wise because right now any builds relying on more than 2 low-end uniques suffer from all sorts of low stats issues. Also you should give up and replace mana flare if you are tight on mana.
Nah mana flare is okay on orb of storms. It was draining my mana too much when I had it on other spells, but I only use it for single target and against single target never run out of mana.
I have a 10k+ mana stormweaver. You want a 5 socket int/mana moriori chest, 3 socket high rolled mahuxotl shield, dream fragments, second ring is breach ring with high mana/int + igenuity belt. Then amulet with mana/mana% +3 skills. All rares with high int+mana+base es. I one shot t4 xesht and every other boss in the game and everything in maps just disappear and I pretty much never die. I also have very high movespeed since all I take in passive tree is jewel sockets and those have movespeed jewels in them. Your set up sounds interesting but not sure if it's faster than a top tier self cast spark. You can get over 1mil spark sheet dps + conduit oneshots everything anyway.
I do agree. The comparison is definitely no contest. I do think that it being a staff makes you lose out of on a lot of mana which is the primary way to scale the damage and defense so the question that should be ask is this comparable to a decent rare wand+shield/focus. It’s a big mana and plus to skills loss. Shouldn’t be compared to a multi mirror build though.
@woolfio, you should get more support slots as you level up. skills that are gained by a weapon or through talents, usually gain support slots with your character level.
It’s too long, too complicated to explain how to stack mana. Watch a stormweaver build guide for that. anyway, I don’t know why you don’t just go for lightning balls, and lightning warp fully to kill enemies. To pass this with Spark is really messy and it feels like it has a limit that you can’t overcome.
It's called build crafting. Some people actually enjoy tinkering their own builds and not running the meta. A weaponswap for bosses could easily fix his problem. CoS maybe too. But he prob can't afford a 60 Spirit chest piece
I would not be worried about this getting nerfed. They were referring to choir of storms with temporalis and infinite fireballs and hitting vine arrows with splash melee damage. Things like that. This kind of small lag killing enemies is normal in PoE1.

Does Killjoy on kill also apply to item drop rarity modifier?
It should not and I did not notice any drop rate changes.
This build wouldn't stand a chance against elon's maps... Looks fun and all except I really like prejudicing areas with thousands of Sparks so as soon as I pop a ritual or some other kind of event things just automatically die. That leaves me living... 1.2 manually casting
why triggered spells also spend mana? since u don't cast it manually
to keep them from being a free way of chain casting 5000 spells
This was also done in PoE1. They wanted to balance and make you think about how you going to spend mana and how will you sustain it.
Two open socket boots and two open socket gloves with 4 inspiration runes will give you 60% mana regen
That would not be enough, not even close. At least not when you kill many shocked enemies at the same time.
The most efficient way to get mana is trought int stacking.
What about eternal youth with eternal gaze for ES? That would solve the gloves disabling your life flask. Cool build btw!
Extra 1K es isn't much. Unless you get a lot more mana + maybe helmet that gives es based on life. But then harder to get res and lose damage.
did you post your build anywhere on a poebuilder site ?
Nope
@Woolfio could you, pls ? I'm interested in gem setup, and lvls to gems, do i need to keep any of them low lvl... also the path that you took, from lvl 1-20 go here, from 20-40 go here, on the tree
dayum that looks awesome , maybe killing ice walls counts as a kill to proc it?
nope. does not ''kill'' them only dmg till they explode :)
Try using inspiration support gem with Spark to save mana.
This is the build i have been doing. I use lightning conduit for bosses and rares, pumping shock magnitude
You have looked at the everlasting amulet?
im sure woolfio, a long time veteran with tons of experience, has totally forgotten about everlasting gaze, one of the most common and strongest meta items in the game. and he will be shocked to read your post, completely revamping the build immediately. wait until he discovers eldritch battery, or trade. I mean, should you even tell him? Im sure he has no idea.
Everlasting amulet does not convert that ES into mana. Gain as extra does not get converted, so that amulet would only give me ES, but no extra mana.
@@Woolfio I briefly converted my spark build to this using the staff and everlasting, but I don't have the gloves for double trigger. I triggered spark with spark. It felt really good in breaches. I did put inspiration on the triggered spark which helped reduce the mana drain. Very cool idea, I hope some of the other issues can be solved.
yeah, but can it do 4 things?
p.s. why not just do battle meditation...
Its a triggered skill so couldnt you get the 3% mana recovery on triggered spell? Doubled from gloves so 6% mana recovery everytime its procced.
sure but needs invokation support
Not sure about that. May need to look into it.
That's a weird Vampire Survivors mods.
play this on infernislt with pyromanic pact no need to worry about mana
I have tried it on Infernalist but archmage was far superior in scaling damage.
@@Woolfio what about Gemling?
More ridiculous than Vaal Spark ever was.
Yes, and rarity is an on kill effect(lucky loot roll?)
Rarity does not have words "on kill" so it won't affect. Even if it only works when killing enemies. From all my mapping so far I have not seen any weirdness in loot.
@@Woolfio when you look at skill details rarity is listed as "on kill rarity" or something similar. Dunno if it works.
If youre mana stacking then surely youre going to want MOM specced. Its just so much defence
I think he should get everlasting gaze first and then stack mana regen. I think if he went mom he would brick his mana.
can you make a mobalytics link?
To be honest I am kind of lazy. Not being able to import characters is too much trouble. Waiting for PoB2 in few days, not sure if it will have feature to import.
Maxroll has that or?
50k+ views - nice.👍
DAMN !!!
get a temporal chain so you wont die
Hey, i got this Staff ssf btw
Congrats, diploma coming in the mail soon.
you can kill boss very easily by weapon swap to wand + sceptre and cast on shock lightning conduit.
BEEP BEEP
Interesting
Let him cook
Wtf is ur logic? you are comparing this build to a 5 billion divine spark build and wondering why it doesn't do the same damage?
@@Singeaninja guy just wanna flex his ingame power basically
@@rcane6842 I don't understand why anyone doesn't just play my 500 div build. It's really good... Yeah, no shit.
@woolfio, you should get more support slots as you level up. skills that are gained by a weapon or through talents, usually gain support slots with your character level.
Never noticed that for skills coming from items. Only noticed that to be the case for skills coming from ascendancy classes.
cant we just use the gloves that gives lightning dmg per 10 int or something?
no, you want killjoy for this so that it procs twice, read the item.
You can if your spark does enough dmg without killjoy
no sense using it as it adds lightning damage to ATTACKS not spells
It’s too long, too complicated to explain how to stack mana. Watch a stormweaver build guide for that. anyway, I don’t know why you don’t just go for lightning balls, and lightning warp fully to kill enemies. To pass this with Spark is really messy and it feels like it has a limit that you can’t overcome.
It's called build crafting. Some people actually enjoy tinkering their own builds and not running the meta.
A weaponswap for bosses could easily fix his problem. CoS maybe too. But he prob can't afford a 60 Spirit chest piece
your sounds are fucking insane though my guy xD wth
this is a server loop it will be nerfed in this next patch.
Dont u see the stream they won't nerf anythinh till next League whoch will be months away stop spreading rumours
@@yapp1189 bugfixing isn't nerfing for GGG. A lot of things being abused for power right now are considered bugs.
I would not be worried about this getting nerfed. They were referring to choir of storms with temporalis and infinite fireballs and hitting vine arrows with splash melee damage. Things like that. This kind of small lag killing enemies is normal in PoE1.
What about "meditate" to get your life back?
Ah yes. Meditate as a sorcerer
@@Kaaaan55it works you just gotta meditate hard on that blue liquid stuff before the red goes away
omg delete the video quick xD
Lol
Clear video pahle bana
Stupid spark archmage! I hope he gets removed from the game forever!
yeah your build should be the only strong build. its super unfair that there is even a chance another build can be better. its all ggg fault.
huh?
nice!
