I’m so glad you guys are creating a life together! I just lost my husband in December and I keep wanting to tell you that life is unpredictable so don’t waste any time!
I'm so sorry for your loss and I hope life is kind to you from here on out. :) I agree with you.. I lost my husband suddenly to a brain aneurysym 22 years ago. I was 5 mths pregnant at the time. My son is now 21. He has tourettes syndrome and autism. It's been rough. You never know what life is gonna throw at you. Never take things for granted and live each day to its fullest. If you're in an unhappy situation, get out and find your true happiness. I have followed both Kayla and Matt from the beginning and there is such a difference in them. They seem genuinely happy now and I can't love this enough. Everyone deserves happiness.
You guys remind me of my Mom and Dad. They traveled in a van with a bed in the back to different states doing picking. I have seen things from the 1800s. They've both passed before the eBay, and stuff was invented. They loved doing what you're doing and made a good living. I enjoy watching you guys together. 😊
Miriam Haskell is the bomb! OMG when you come across vintage jewelry and each box is only 10, just buy all the boxes and sift through later. You will never be sorry.
Kayla and Matt you two are the greatest. My favorite. I look so forward for you seeing you both. Watch you both each time you are on and can’t wait till the next time. I love to watch you find a place to eat. Have fun. Books are way to high. Maybe the daughter will have to keep them.
I really enjoy these long videos as I can play them in the background at work and I don't necessarily have to be watching the entire time. This really helps me gain a little knowledge on my path to being 100% self employed. Thanks again!
U two r my favorite pickers! Good Luck! I wish those ladies good luck at selling those books at $5.OO each at a garage sale. No Way! 😂Those ladies will definitely live and learn on that one.
@@kelliwillis417yup, she's a kid. She doesn't know better and she believes she should get what she paid for them or what she thinks 1/2 price books will give her.
Kayla, you are just the cutest. You bring so much joy with your video's. I have alot of respect for you as a single mother and you're such a hard-worker. You're doing a great job. I know you must feel overwhelmed at times but thank you for sharing your life with us.
I’ve enjoyed watching the two of you separately and now together. You bring merchandise knowledge to each other and it’s great to watch. Just a thought… you each have your strengths… please can each of you pick up things that you are drawn to, then share it with each other and us? The paintings Matt mentioned at the place with the wood trinket box were very good… I would have bought them from you in a heartbeat.
Yes, I get nervous someone else will come up and go through them as I am. I’d rather be like oh ok, I’ll take them all and pay and put it in the car before someone else can start sticking their hands in there. Then I’ll donate what’s not good later. imagine she came out after they purchased them and put them in their vehicle though? I bet she would have thrown a fit and demanded they be returned.

I love watching both of you as pickers, but it would be nice to add in a pull & shipping what sold video once in a while. Even though I have been doing this for a while, I still always learn something new from you. 😎
Don't worry about marking silver down if it's tarnished. Many folks like vintage pieces like this. Tarnished silver is super easy to clean and doesn't loose value in anyway. You will sell it off the markings and style. Taxco silver is sought after and tarnish is not a deal breaker at all.
Geez. If you aren't going to price your items and you aren't going to help mom with the sale - stay in bed and let her make the prices up. Good luck to her getting $5 each at a garage sale. lol

Saw your comment about the tarnish on the sterling silver earrings and brooch. Easy tip to clean, use Hagerty fork cleaner, will remove tarnish instantly. Rinse well and dry, also let air dry before putting in bag. This product is very odifferace use in well ventilated area.

I always take a UV flashlight with me to test items for that green or orange glow. Uranium glass is a big seller. I love your videos and look forward to seeing you both every week!
Miriam Haskel is a very good brand, I sold antique jewelry, coins, and other Antiques. At Webster Market and the flea markets a long time ago before my accident. And I still have a lot of stuff left. Very Great Buy ❤
One thing Kayla, when you find jewelry that is vintage and inexpensive just buy it all! There is so much learning value and you will be surprised at the pieces that are desired. If I find multiple pieces, I just buy the whole box. You look so beautiful today! Love the look!
The green pitcher with 'spaghetti' string over all that you wrapped back up was a good find. Wish you had picked it up. I would have been in heaven digging through the vintage items in his garage.
So many amazing finds! I have lost my mind pickin' at the elderly gentleman's sale! And the jewelry at the second. Excellent score! Not sure, but I think the needlepoint cat pillow is a considered a doorstop. Can't wait for your next vid! Have a great day!

From the convenient store to the Goodwill, Matt made me laugh. He told the elderly lady to "have fun in there!" Lol
My daughter had that when she was a young girl and she and her friend played it all of the time
Such a long video! Yay! 🙂💚
he was the sweetest man love his heart yes he gave a good deal for sure.
Good Tuesday afternoon guys. I can’t believe that girl with the books. Wish you had of bought them before she came down. Lolol that jewelry is really pretty. you were right Kayla with Matt said babies. I’m sure everybody else as I did went WHAT Lolol 🥰
Mom did all the work while her daughter slept in and I bet Mom puts is all back too!
Saw your comment about the tarnish on the sterling silver earrings and brooch. Easy tip to clean, use Hagerty fork cleaner, will remove tarnish instantly. Rinse well and dry, also let air dry before putting in bag. This product is very odifferace use in well ventilated area.
Baking soda will too and it's not abrasive even though it seems like it would be
OMG, the marbles in my neck of the woods sell for big bucks $50-60 for small jars. Grab all the bigger ones. Heard some could be lucite. HAPPY hunting ya'll are great!!😮😮😅❤
I know sometimes you do, but have you ever thought about rounding up where you know your making bank? Make their day too... Love watching you guys! Your patients for each other is so refreshing! God bless yall!!
They do that quite often.
Marion Haskell 😲always a pick up!!!!!!😊look up every signed piece😄
That full garage looks like someone spent years at auctions and collecting treasures. I bet you have some marbles that glow under blacklight too. I always take a UV flashlight with me to test items for that green or orange glow. Uranium glass is a big seller. I love your videos and look forward to seeing you both every week!
I would have been digging for a while there!
“She does not need anymore trinkets” Kayla babe I’m not entirely sure you can call THAT giraffe a trinket 🙃😆🤣
You guys need to make more videos this long. I love watching you guys! I think you guys are the only ones I'd watch 1 hour and a half long 😊
The green pitcher with 'spaghetti' string over all that you wrapped back up was a good find. Wish you had picked it up. I would have been in heaven digging through the vintage items in his garage.
Yeah spaghetti pitcher is like 100$
My mom had the pitcher and glasses. Same color. I definitely would of bought that. It looked new/old.
Kayla, those "hat pins" that you found are just called "stick pins". In the 70s and 80s, women wore them in the lapel area on sweaters and blouses.
I love the longer vids! Woot woot! Hey Kayla! From Southern Illinois. So yea I have that southern accent too.. lol
Didnt you say this before?
Lol! 😂 Yes she did! 🧠 Brain fart? 😮
Was so excited to see you pickup the ink we use for our printer. As Matt would say “ Thanks for the great deal””!
Love, love, love the longer video!
Great stuff!!!
So many amazing finds! I have lost my mind pickin' at the elderly gentleman's sale! And the jewelry at the second. Excellent score!
Not sure, but I think the needlepoint cat pillow is a considered a doorstop.
Can't wait for your next vid! Have a great day!
Love it when your videos pop up!!
Me too!!
