I just love the fact that, from time to time, instead of making well thought out, written, spoken and edited movie reviews and analysis of subjects on IHE, he instead uses his talent to make classics like this, and I cannot tell which I prefer.
I think Gorillaz made a song inspired in this melody, it is called "Desolé", i think. Of course this original piece of art is much, much better. Oh, they copystriked him. Still good tho.
this one really works in the context of the album, building on the themes of existential dread touched upon in minion supreme and further exploring the idea of being wrapped up in fabricated hallucinations as coping mechanisms for said dread explored in jellyfish fields and crazy goblins. Really makes it all come together nicely
I just have to say that symmetrical James looks a lot like Henry Cavil, so, for James to become one of the sexiest men alive and part of the glorious and respectful DCU, he just needs some symmetry, which is far less than we all need! So good job, James for beign like an asymmetrical Superman!
this is aesthetically coherent with Pink Floyd but contrasts the tranquillity of sombre tones with a well executed Lift Yourself-esque transition into a more visceral affair of heavy percussion and gravely consequential undertones alluding to a wider and more controversial subject matter which envisions something akin to the hero's journey, a dramatic turn or momentous occasion, a turning point like no other without potential for return or recompense for the consequences and implications of it's enaction, only enhanced by staccato orchestral horns and electrifying guitar stings as an arrangement choice antithetical to the harmonic series inspired soundscape in the preceding movement. the beauty of god and the travesty of man, the duality of spirit and the completion of the spectrum that is the experience of the universe that humans endure only to die suddenly with no warning.
