Heavy snowing in Dallas Plano Texas | started 9th January morning

A winter storm watch has been issued in DFW area early this week and it got updated yesterday to winter storm alert, in effect from 6:00 AM Thursday to noon CST Friday.
As per the latest forecast on 9th Thursday morning - Heavy mixed precipitation expected including mainly snow and sleet. Total snow and sleet accumulations between 2 and 5 inches. Isolated snowfall totals between 8 and 10 inches may occur in a few areas. Some light icing may occur.
