Yay! Congrats! I’m also graduating in a few weeks and trying to decide on a nice crochet install. Your videos have been giving me some options. Thank you so much!
Once again, I love your videos!! But I’m interested in your hair care routine when wearing crochet. I’m having trouble keeping my hair moisturized and you mentioned in the video aloe vera and a leave in conditioner mixture... could you tell me more about it?
I literally just put aloe vera juice in a spray bottle and spray it on my scalp a few times a week. I use the LCO method (leave in conditioner, double butter cream, oil) when I braid my hair up to help it stay moisturized. I occasionally apply an oil to my scalp, as well.
Indya Ajai Oh okay! I’m going to try the LCO method during my next install . I usually just use oil and I occasionally oil my scalp but I’ve noticed that just using the oil isn’t enough for my hair anymore.

Looks beautifully natural on you!!!
(Screams!) Thank you for the video update 🙌🏾💕
LOLOL of course!
Awesome... so pretty, I will definitely will have to try... Thanks for the update!
No problem! I just took it out yesterday.
You are so pretty
Thank you!
Would you recommend twisting the hair at night. Did you comb out the coils or just separated by fingers?
I separate the hair into 3-4 pieces before installing. I think I just pineappled this one at night.
Congratulations
Would you suggest wearing this hair during the summer months?
Yup! It's super lightweight!

Yes! Oil, by itself, can be drying to the hair, so it's best to use something moisturizing first.
Indya Ajai THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE ADVICE!!! Any product recommendations for the aloe vera juice or leave ins???
I use Fruit of the Earth aloe vera juice which you can find at Walmart or on Amazon. I like As I Am and Kinky Curly Knot today leave ins!
Indya can you please tell me which hair held up better? The Kongo Curl or the Rod set?
I prefer rod set!
Hi new subie here. What did you do for maintenance? Did you have to use mouse on this hair. Very beautiful on you
No maintenance, no product, and thank you!
